Not even close - this was the best I got...

Konstantin in a pink suit on Red Square

He was supposed to be stepping on a map of Poland, something went wrong there. :)

I tried to do a separate image of you but every time I was unhappy with the result. Apparently to capture the essence of a wild, slanted-eyed Asian/European hunter/businessman who is filthy rich, loves Poland, literature and international finances, supports Vladimir Putin and hates neo-nazis was a bit too much to ask of AI. I got ridiculous images.

How come you forgot

I haven't forgotten them :) Wonder where they hang around online these days.

the Onion story "I wish I were like my online persona"

OMG... no way! People's online personae are definitely more obnoxious than they are in the real life. For example, in the real life I would never tell anyone to eff off and die of cancer; somehow online it seems a less serious thing to do. I wouldn't want to live in a world where people behaved like they behave online :D

Sorry to hear about the trip, it would have been quite an adventure!

Sea Towers: 2021

Sea Towers Gdynia

Two Polish maritime legends Dar Pomorza and ORP Błyskawica anchored in the Port of Gdynia. In the background the famous Sea Towers building.

Have you been living a cave?

I work a lot (and I mean a lot). Ask me about recent TV series or cinema hits and I won't know anything either.

Hmm... I can understand why the artists are upset.

It's the most fun we've had on the forum in a long time :)

Sure, it's all in good fun; we don't have avatars here, so at least AI produced something for us to be able to link the screen name to a face. ;)

As for the appearance, stop complaining, people! What I wrote inside ChatGPT shall remain my secret, and perhaps I didn't quite get the looks right, but I bet the essence of each of the posters soul/character was captured quite accurately. :)

greedy thieves and liars with no morals or human decency

the horror (mental state that is)

I wrote "torn between Poland and Norway", that's probably the reason for the facial expression.

This AI thingy is impressive. I always thought it was just a more advanced search engine but apparently it can do more.

A fascist too though that's not rare here.

There are decent people among fascist just like there are decent commies. Ideologies are secondary; it's about particular decisions made at particular point in time of a person's life that decides what kind of person you are - how you behave at any given moment (especially crucial moments). I come from skinhead background - despised by most "decent, ordinary people". You wouldn't believe how many solid, sound friends I have from that time.

That will happen in the next life, either upstairs, downstairs, or in a PF Purgatory.

:)

I'll drink to that!

more with blade and sword instead of knitting needles

:)

If you stepped on her toe she would definitely draw a blade, but otherwise a nice, kind-hearted lady.

Let's see whom else I can remember...

Sokrates - basically Ironside with PhD, one wouldn't want to mess with him
Hitman - also a bit like Iron but more rude
the Bulgarian guy (the name escapes me) - Bulgarian version of Espana; I was a bit too harsh on him
the Turkish guy (sclerosis again) - sound fellow, was at ATP too for a moment, then disappeared from both boards
Yehudi - a smart one; wish he was at PF now to give us the Israeli point of view on the current mess

Wulky who used to go on about how tall he was and how big his 'membrum virile' is. In my experience, people who boast about that tend not to have anything special down there.

xD

... imagine if all the former members came back one day. What a beautiful mayhem it would be! :)

And people from ATP... Hoopsgirl, Natasha (she was probably at PF too and I actually know how she looks like :)), Amenhotep (met him and his wife in person), Yuri (a legend on par with Bobko), Wroclaw Boy ... aaah... memories, memories. :)

There was also Delph and Harry, and the American guy who married a Polish chick and drove a bus in Poland - a nice guy... forgot his name (damn sclerosis). And of course Wildrover :)

helmet....bratwurst.....beer....all there!

Also a pagan ceremony in the background, and that building was supposed to be a summer house at the Baltic coast but it looks more like a church; also the entire scene was supposed to take place in Berlin. Looks like AI gets a bit confused if you give it too much information. :)

I will do Grunni and PolAm in a moment.

Kurwa mać 0_0 Are you some sort of a wizard? Remind me to never fall out with you again.

Thanks. It's nice to connect a face to the moniker. I look like a 10 years younger Paweł Deląg, with glasses too. :)

GefreiterKania on the other hand is having bratwurst sausage made from his pet pig that got it's throat cut out back in his pen by GefreiterKania.
How cruel as his pet pig trusted him only to have GefreiterKania eat him.

That's not even a limerick!

Here...

A farmer with pigs in the sun,
Kania made bratwurst for fun.
With flavors so bold,
And stories retold,
His sausages always won!

or

On a farm where the happy pigs roam,
A man named Kania found his home.
He crafted each brat,
With flavor and fat,
Turning simple meals into gourmet dome!

Learn to use AI, Johnny; it's all the rage now.

That plays holy hell on your rear.

That comes out like a smelly old fart.

I see your limericks would be far less kind than the ones written by AI. Hmm... let me see if I can force ChatGPT to write a nasty limerick...

There once was a guy, Johnny Reb,
Whose actions were quite out of ebb.
He'd shoot at tame deer,
And make others fear,
With comments that crossed every web.

or...

There once was a member named Johnny,
Who shot at tame deer, thinking it's bonny.
He'd harass women online,
With words far from fine,
Leaving kindness behind like a conny.

:)

That's neat!

How about that...

In a bun, with some mustard and cheer,
A bratwurst brings joy far and near.
Grilled to a sizzle,
It makes taste buds drizzle,
A feast that we all hold so dear!

... :)

I am a decent sensitive monkey

Catch this, Pawian...

On the forums, a voice stands apart,
With wit that's a true work of art.
Pawian's sharp quip,
Makes every post flip,
A master of clever and smart!

Finally there's some sensible use of AI! And I discovered it by accident :)

News / Should Poland pay for gas in rubles? [169]

Should Poland buy gas with a ruble?
It's causing a bit of a trouble.
With sanctions in place,
it's quite a tense race,
But they'd rather not burst that bubble!

*OK, that's enough of ChatGPT poetry for today*

Hey, Milo - here's a limerick for you from ChatGPT...

There's a forum member named Milo,
Whose posts had a humorous style-o.
With wisdom to share,
And a witty flair,
In the forums, he's loved by the pile-o!

Dishonorary mentions:

Novichok - for constant insidious remarks at Poles (for which he makes up a little with his constant insidious remarks at Brits)
Pawian - for his preposterous idea of apologising to the descendants of genocide perpetrators (otherwise he would even make it to the Top 10)

Best posters update (Top 10):

1-2 BB and AntV - for stubbornly refusing to descend to the average level of PF;
3. Bobko - for the sheer resilience and sticking around for so long; Russians are indeed long suffering world champions;
4. Lenka - for the common sense, calm and this elusive, intangible Slavic sadness in her, that she hasn't lost even abroad
5. Atch - for constantly reminding me that I occasionaly stray from the Christian path;
6. Paulina - for significantly decreasing the amount of vitriol in her posts and being much more mature (with age comes wisdom and all that)
7. Velund - for offering the current opinion from Mordor in a very often humorous way ;)
8-10 Jon357, Cms_neuf and Mafketis - for iron consistency in their views (an admirabe character trait in itself).

Honorary mentions:

PolAmKrakow - for being able to allow the reality to change his views (an admirable character trait in itself).
Crow - for his unceasing service to Sarmatia;
Ironside - for not allowing kindness and consideration for other human beings influence his posts. ;)

Lieutenant Jedwab: 1939

1st September 1939, dawn, a couple of kilometres from the German border, near Działoszyn. 19th German Infantry Division assaults the positions of 84th Poleski Rifleman Regiment. The commander of a heavy machinegun team is Henryk Jedwab, son of a very rich Jewish family from Kalisz. He knows he cannot afford the slightest weakness or his Polish colleagues will consider him a coward; he calmly waits for German infantrymen to advance close enough when he shouts 'Ognia!' and rain of lead stops the attacking Germans. That was the beginning of a distinguished military career that would see Jedwab receiving Fighter's Cross/Krzyż Walecznych (three times), Croix de Guerre (three times), Monte Cassino Cross and last but not the least Virtuti Militari (Poland's highest military decoration for heroism and courage in the face of the enemy at war).

His entire family was murdered by the nazis during the war. Once he was asked how many Germans he killed; he thought for a moment and said "More than my family had members... way, way more".

Nukes, Iron. We would get nukes. Think about it.

Never again would Poland be conquered and our loved ones slaughtered.

We have no real friends, and nations don't change that much in measly 80 years. Consider this before you call me a trolling nutter again.

Jewish Generals: 1939

Brigade General Wilhelm Orlik-Rückemann, pioneer of Poland's panzer forces, distinguished himself in Polish-Soviet war, commander of KOP in 1939.

Brigade General Bernard Mond, commander of Army Cracow's 6th Infantry Division, defender of korytarz pszczyński.

Brigade General Juliusz Zulauf, defender of Narew line and Warsaw Praga.

120,000 Polish Jews fought in the ranks on Wojsko Polskie in September 1939. Mentioning all of them would be impossible (I will mention one in more detail later). 7000 of them, including 100 officers, were KIA and names like Friedmann-Mieczysławski, Arnsztajn, Berenson, Putzman, Pariserberg, Fisch and Liebich are well known to Polish WW2 historians. Above you see photos of three Jewish September '39 generals.
