So stop picking on LGBT. There is no substantial difference between someone being born a man and claiming he's a woman and someone being born a Pole and claiming he's American.
WW3 can definitely produce another baby boom, Ryszard. It can also restore some good old traditional morals, perseverance and survival skills. Why are you so scared sh*tless of it then? You're over 80 so I don't believe that it is you holding so desperately to the pathetic remaining shards of life, so why??? I don't get it.
If Alien would be and post as some Mohammed from Germany, would you also treat him like a "volksdeutsch"?
Hmm...
That's some serious mental gymnastics right there, BB. Gimme a moment.
*thinks*
No. Somehow 'volksdeutsch' and 'Muslim' don't collocate for me.
How would that change your perception of him and his postings?
Well, I definitely wouldn't see him as a traitor of Poland who sold himself for 30 pieces of silver (or Deutsche Mark), and I wouldn't give a toss that he betrayed Iraq or Syria, so generally I would probably be more friendly predisposed towards him.
Would they change at all?
Hard to say overall. I would probably still be annoying him. A bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon.
Dieter
It depends if Dieter was more like you or more like Tacitus.
Katrin
I would try to be a gentleman... but if she was a crazy feminist I sometimes might not be 100% delicate.
I am not saying Pawian was 100% right, and I cannot forgive for those who were killed by UPA. Also, I am in no position to apologise for anything Poland did to Ukrainians in the past.
However, personally, as a private person - Kania/Torq - I hereby declare that I no longer bear a grudge against Ukraine for either their historical misconduct or present inability to admit it. I pray and hope that one day they will be able to look at history also from the Polish perspective but it is no longer a matter of personal grudge for me.
Their bravery, sacrifice and courage changed my hardened heart.
It took three and a half years because I'm one stubborn c*nt.
P.S. Also, my past assumptions about the British were unduly negative and harsher than they deserved. I have come to realise that I might well have misjudged them.
Why are you mocking him? Do you know what standing by convictions and principles means?
I'm not. He did exactly that - stood by his convictions and principles.
Just like a leftist person who would say that some number of Muslim-immigrant-related rapes and murders are an acceptable trade-off for preserving the right of importing as many Muslim immigrants as we want to, and was later raped and murdered by a Muslim migrant. This person stood by his/her conviction and the fact he/she was raped and murdered by a Muslim migrant wouldn't change his mind.
We have to let God allow people to meet the consequences of their views and actions.
prayed for Charlie Kirk in front of the American Embassy at the Brandenburg Gate
It's a good thing they prayed. It never hurts to pray.
It's a pity the guy got shot. Nobody should get shot for their views (whatever those views might be).
Still, we have to remember that he was a Russian propaganda parrot - repeating verbatim things produced by the Kremlin propaganda department: that Zelensky is an illegal dictator, that Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe, that Crimea should have been given to Russia as a gesture of good will. He was unable to prove any of these things in a debate, he was even proven wrong on more than one occasion - e.g. here...
... but he kept repeating them like a propaganda parrot because that's what he, by and large, was.
If Poland had been invaded, and Trump somehow had managed to avoid helping us, this Kirk guy would most likely have explained to everyone how corrupt Poland was and that we were a part of Russia anyway.
provocations on the Belarusian border can't be left unanswered
Yes, I remember you said that and I agree.
Closing the border was the first right move and it should stay closed for as long as the f*cking mustachioed Romeo doesn't stop his antics. If it stays closed for long enough the Chinese will sort Lukashenka out themselves.
As for the Russian drones, well - Ukraine has already offered our soldiers anti-drone training, we should gratefully accept the offer, as well as all the offers of help from European NATO. Also, if it doesn't serve as a good kick in the balls for everyone responsible for Poland's anti-drone defense, then I don't know what will.
most people think it's just a piece of paper now (NATO) with no real U.S backing
The first part of your sentence is wrong - it's not just a piece of paper: after the drones incident our European NATO allies (France, Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, Czechia) offered us substantial help.
The second part of your sentence is closer to the truth: the USA, having the largest NATO army, and having 80,000 soldiers and all sorts of equipment in Europe, offered us nothing.
So, it is now blatantly obvious - we can count on the EU and we can count on European NATO; on the USA - not so much.
That's for military. Used in every country in the world and subject to specific laws.
hunting
That's for hunters. Used in every country in the world and subject to specific laws.
sports
That's for sportsmen. Used in every country in the world and subject to specific laws.
However, not every country gives free access to lethal firearms to the general population (and they are right not to do so!). Because, unlike in case of most military personel, hunters and sportsmen, the general population consists in much larger measure of psychopaths, violent maniacs and retards. Giving such people free access to guns produces school shootings and murdering people while they give public speeches.
And my argument still stands: you can't compare cars to guns, as the former are not designed specifically to kill, the latter very much are.
you have surrendered to the «terror of guns»
What? I own hunting guns myself. But I had to meet certain conditions to obtain them and I'm mentally healthy and stable enough to have them. I certainly wouldn't want everyone I see in the streets everyday to have access to such weapons.
More military logistics, larger production of small arms and ammunition for small arms, production of large scale land, air and naval drones.
Indeed.
And let's not forget using our own TNT to produce artillery shells instead of selling most of it to Americans at cost price.
a large enough deterrent
The only "large enough deterrent" are nuclear weapons. Luckily, we are on the best way to obtaining them, but shhhhh... it is not the best place to talk about it.
Cars are not designed with the sole and specific purpose of killing people. Guns are. Car accidents are not cases of intentional killing. School shootings, or shooting people while they give a public speech, are.
I think it's worth it, I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It's rational.
In other words, he argued that some number of gun-related deaths (e.g. school shootings or people being shot in public while giving a speech) are an acceptable trade-off for preserving the right to bear arms by everyone. Well, God seems to have said: "You're right, Charlie. You're right".
polish politicians suck british dick, not american
From the sentence above I gather that you would seem to be arguing that Polish politicians at the moment tend to align themselves more closely with British foreign policies than with American ones, or even are more inclined to cultivate ties with the United Kingdom than with the United States. I think your analysis is correct, Veli.
Now, what might be the reason for this inclination of Polish elites?
I think one only has to look at the conduct of the Unites States to understand...
USA 1994: Give up your nuclear weapons and you will be safe. USA 2014: Give up the Crimea and you will be safe. USA 2025: Give up 20% of your territory and you will be safe. P.S. Don't forget to give us your rare minerals.
... for an ordinary person, not especially noble nor especially wicked, it is quite impossible not to throw up while looking at it.
One has to say, purely objectively, that the Brits in comparison (and God knows I'm not a big fan of the Perfidious Albion) are behaving rather decently. Hence, our choice of rather "sucking British dick than the American one" as you very poetically put it in the best tradition of belles-lettres russes. ;) Жизнь состоит из выборов, as our Russians friends and neighbours wisely say. ;)
