Ukraine constitutionally cant recognize Russia has captured this territory, and Russia has already recognized the territories. I think you give some interesting insight and opinions on Trump and his motivations. While I dont agree with everything, I think the Obama slight is the primary reason he ran, and is trying to make this peace deal. He hates Obama, and wants a Nobel prize like Obama. While most of us see Trump as very wealthy we do not see him as an elite per se. Its the Pelosi's or the world that have gotten the US where it is today, and during this time they have robbed Americans and enriched themselves to the detriment of the same people they claim to love and represent. Its the Pelosi's and Bidens of the world that would not seek an end to this war unless unrelaistic demands were met. You are absolutely clueless of what Polish neighborhoods in the US are like. Good jobs? They have them. Cheaper eggs, they have them. Milwakee? This is a point I have tried to make several times. All throughout the US there are "Polish" neighborhoods still. While the ancestry lines have to go way back in most cases, these communities are very closely knit. The observe most Polish traditions and customs though most dont even know they are Polish in origin. There are Polish "clubs" in many cities, Polish churches, and stores that import Polish foods. This is not just Chicago. In my business we did a study several years back and those with Polish ancestry numbered 23% of participants nation wide. That is a huge number for a niche' industry.


I dont see it happening with Germany. Russia is obviously a possibility given todays political climate. Interestingly the Congo President has now said that they are open to make a security deal with the US for reare earth minerals. They have more than Ukraine. This should concern Ukraine since that mineral deal has yet to be made. The Congo would also be a great jumping off point for other stupid US military ventures in the future.

When PiS regains control of the government, and they will eventually, they will build the biggest US base in Europe for Trump or JD if its him in office. The US, and Trump has said this publicly, will not abandon Poland. Trump wants to bring 100K US troops around the world back to the US. Why? Not because someone will invade, but the US Army Corp of Engineers, can do amazing things with able bodied men in very short periods of time is my thinking.


Better the devil you know than the devil you dont. Keeping in line with the US give Poland a lot more than US military on the ground. It also gives access to US technology, and intelligence. There is none better in the world.

Meanwhile the BBC reports that the limited cease fire being worked on should be complete in the next week or so as it regards infrastructure. Even though its not signed and complete, both Russia and Ukraine have not bombed or attacked energy infrasructure in the last 48 hours. I take that as a sign that things can be discussed piece by piece and agreements can be made.

The US bases in Germany were built by US forces during and after the war at the US expense. At one point there were more than 200 bases. Most have been closed or turned over to German military. As for the expenses of setting up or maintaining bases, the host country should be responsible in my opinion. Having a good sized contingent of US military in your country is a deterant.

Putin knows where the base is in Rzezow. He probably has all the intel he needs to completely wipe it out. We all know thats where the vast majority of weapons from the US are coming from. Yet, no strikes on it. Clearly its a military target if there ever was one. Putin wont think about killing any US military in Poland. He knows that the reaction would be fast and devestating if he did. Thats the reason for Poland to build fort Trump, whether you like Trump or the US or not, it would be a very good thing for Poland to have.

Poland needs a strong independent military. The EU was never meant to be one governing body that was taking over the soveriegn rights of member countries. If nukes were ever used in Europe, other than tactical ones, the fallout would spread across Europe. Russia doesnt want to use a big nuke unless its in a MAD scenario with the US. You are obviously unaware of Trumps stated goal to move most troops back to the US from Germany and around Europe. He made this a part of his campaign. As for paying for the US to be in any country, the payment is in providing the area for the base. They do not pay salaries of soldiers or other costs. other than some infrastructure. I had no idea a Hungarian paper wrote anything, my ideas are my thinking alone not based on any news reports. Trump makes deals, understanding this will allow you to understand what he is doing much better. With Ukraine, he can make a peace deal, or pull out. Either way the American people win. Thats his only responsibility.

Hey genius. What would the USSR done without the US leand lease? They would have been throwing fvcking rocks. The US does not need Germany for a hub. Plenty of other options. Hungary would love to have the US base, so would Kuwait. And if you think for one second That closing US bases in Germany wouldnt collapse the local economies, you have never been around a base in Germany. The US has 20 bases in Germany, with two closing soon. Take more than 20K military and civilian support jobs out of Ramstein and the local economy with its 8000 residents is dead.

Not going to argue that the US government is better than the EU. Long over due for the US to clean its own house. Happy that Trump and Musk are upsetting and firing so many. What I dont like is the unending levels of bureaucracy for so many small countries to then be saddled with more levels on the EU commission. Getting anything done in the EU can take forever.

The US is the most reliable ally Poland and Europe have ever had. Your comments are insulting, and simply stupid. If not for the US, Europe would be speaking German. Trumps foreign policy is to take care of the US. That is absolutely clear, and it is what Americans want. Solutions? How about the Canadian company in Alberta who is closing their operations and moving to the US to avoid tariffs? How about the new Honda factory slated for Mexico now being built in Indiana? That is exactly what Americans want.

When the US is in better shape internally, it will again help others. It will handle China quite quickly and that may happen sooner than we think. If Russia is happy, Putin wont start a new war before he dies. This gives Europe all the time they need to re-arm, and prepare for the next nut case whether its Russia or another country. No one can take you seriously when all you do is call people names. Yes, Europe needs to be self sufficient. It is not going to happen in a year or two. This is at least a ten year project. Until then the EU will rely on the US. Europe cant even re-arm itself with conventional weapons when they are sending weapons to Ukraine. Not enough factories and not enough designs of their own weapons systems.

The US has complete control of all high tech weapons that use satellite or other US designed guidance systems. Note that no HMRS were able to be used in Ukraine once intelligence was cut off. The same would be true around the world with every US system. Would the US allow for the Taliban to be able to use any of the high tech weapons left behind? If so, there would have been a lot of dead people when the US left.

The problem with looking at Europe and its own coordinated military is that the EU cant even figure out who TF is going to lead it. It sure wont be Germany because Poland and others will not let it happen. It wont be France because Turkey and others wont let it happen. Would it be Poland? The EU commission is one of the worst managed governing bodies in the world. I wouldnt trust them to operate a McDonalds franchise and follow the rules.

Hilarious that none of the Poles promoting Poland should have nukes addressed the fact that the US has ultimate control over every piece of high tech military equipment in Europe. All the US sucks and should be out of Europe could, and more likely will come back to bite Europe in the ass at some point in the future. The idea of Europe coordinating a joint military through the bull$hit European commission, where Ursula Vanderkunt is presiding, the absolute failure of the German defense minister, is going to sting down the road.

For details sake, the cease fire is not fully negotiated yet as it concerns the energy infrastructure. Nothing has been signed, and Ukraine just attacked another Russian oil refinery. If the EU keeps pushing, and Ukraine doesnt fall in line, you may get your wish and see the US out of the war completely. That would give Ukraine less than 60 days of survival time. In the mean time, everyone should be in their gardens digging missile silohs in preparation for those nukes to arrive.

Actually barney they can prevent their use. Not one HMARS in Ukraine was fired while the information, including satellite targeting information was withheld. And without that targeting, they dont launch. Do you think that if one of those systems fell into the hands of Russians, ISIS, or Hamas that there wouldnt be a fail safe to make them inoperable? That would be completely stupid to leave out of a design.

What my comment means is that if someone see's a Palestinian wearing a vest, they are going to try to take him out before it explodes. Its crazy how hundreds of prisoners were swaped yesterday, and how the AP has released news that Putin and Zelensky reached agreement on the limited cease fire and that it is starting to be implemented. You know the AP, the reliably left wing globalist news source that feeds all the other reliably left wing sources. The terms of the limited cease fire were only totally agreed on in the last few hours. And both Zelensky and Putin are now saying the war will end this year.

This war is one that is very emotional for Russians and Ukrainians. It is not only about NATO and EU membership, its about historical items that bind these people together over centuries. Putin and Trump spoke. They made a limited deal. Ukraine and Russia both after the deal had attacks on energy infrastructure. Thos attacks have since stopped. Delivering orders to front lines doesnt happen as quickly as the news is reported. Lets see what happens now. One step at a time, and small deal by small deal help both sides to regain some level of understanding each other and limited trust. You cannot make peace without talking to the enemy.
