yeah that was an Israeli intelligence memeber assessment - my opinion though is that if Hamas thought they can win any such war they must have been stupid and I don't believe in stupidity to that degree - since my conclusions/suspicions - you are of course free to reach your own conclusions

maybe this will sound rubbish or preposterous to you... but New York Times reported in 2023 or 2024 that some in Israeli intelligence knew about the planned Hamas action well in advance - the article said IIRC that the reports were ignored by higher officials - I somehow think that this was deliberately "ignored" so that Israel could have an excuse for their little Endlosung - I know this may sound outrageous to some but I think it is probable

well - last I checked Israel invaded Gaza multiple times since 1990's - no land loss? Palestinians lost most of their land compared to 1940's - do I commend or approve of Palestinian terror? no - is Palestinian terror a threat to the very existence of the state of Israel? in my opinion: no

I wouldn't bother with opinions in Europe if I were Trump - after all he is a president of the USA, not some shoddy prime minister of Belgium :P
Edit: it's not that I'm saying that I'm in the know whether Trump's policies are beneficial to Americans (they may well not be)

perhaps April was unusually warm on average - this is not true for May though - also I never said anything about precipitation - the first of May in Poland was chilly and dry at the same time - generally we had a very dry winter this year (as opposed to the winter of 2023/24 which was very wet) and a dry start of spring - I check weather around Poland almost daily so I know what I'm talking about
