My old man was made redundant twice in the 80s since he worked in an industry that depended on people being in work and earning. A rotten time and no good at all came from it. Then you mentioning Humpty Dumpty got me thinking again and after racking my brain, I finally remembered who he resembles. Don McLean wasn't so far off; it was his comedy partner on Crackerjack, Peter Glaze.
