This weekend the town of Jasło is hosting an International Wine Festival. The area is trying to revive local wine-making traditions that died out centuries ago because they coiuldn't meet the competition posed by Hungarian Tokay.
Are there any Polish wines worth purchasing?

I think there already is some degree of wine making there - the climate is certainly suitable!
No reason why Poland can't at least produce something similar to Bulgarian wine.

Just read an article in the March 2017 Wine Spectator article on Austrailian wines hat Polish settlers brought and planted Riesling to the Clare Valley (near Polish Hill River) in the mid 1800's. Clearly they have know a thing or two about winemaking for at least 200 years
