Genealogy / Looking for Robert Jureczko Bielsko Biala [22]

Does anyone have suggestions on what i can do more?

chat to eurolines and find out if he bought a return ticket. (holland - poland - holland)

or if he was using the return part of his original ticket (poland - holland - poland) to get back to Poland. if this is the case then his departure was planned in advance. unless he had an open ticket of course.

if he bought a single ticket home you also have an answer.

BTW, did u buy the ticket ?

Law / Would Polish people use a cattery? [17]

If your pic. really is you it seems that you are not much older than 20.

i'm about 19-20 in one picture and about 21-22 in the other. they were taken in the 70's.

I'm old enough to be your Mother

it seems not.

but more to the point. i've been here for more than twenty years and know what was for sale in the shops all those years ago.

he has never ever gave us a reason not to trust him...

it wouldn't be the first time someone has walked off the job.

did he leave his belongings behind or did he take everything with him ?

UK, Ireland / British Equivalents to Matura Results [30]

the IB program over the Polish Matura

young folk seem content with the matura. also, i think the IB program is limited to certain schools.

Language / 'lubię, lubisz' - Infinitive [86]

it's not a lot different to my bilingual kids taking english. why struggle with all the exams when there is one one can pass easily.

whatever regulation there is is difficult to comprehend.

"I'm hot" sound too ambiguous?

then say: it is hot (today) (in here) or ... it is too hot (for me) (today etc)

ul. Śniegockiego 15, Wrocław tel. 71 363 54 19, fax 71 364 59 06

Travel / What to do in Warsaw at Christmas? [21]

I imagine everything will be closed the day of or Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve: early closing

Christmas Day: Poland closed

Boxing Day: Poland probably closed

Christmas being at the weekend doesn't help either.

New Year's Eve: find an open-air concert somewhere. if it's cold it will be your feet and ears that feel it. wrap up well.

New Year's Day: sunday (Poland closed)

Church might be a good place to go for company and a little of the festive spirit. i'm thinking english speaking church. there must be one somewhere.
