How to stay in USA without getting married?

OP bartosz

Well, I know people that are in USA with expired visas and they still get married for green cards. U just need a good lawyer that will get u ready for the case. INS asked questions so you have to know the answers. Theye ask u little questions like who woke up first or where is a bed located. They wont to make sure that u life together and know each other well.

U have to know what to do and INS will not now anything. Picures at the weding, same friends, knowlage, good lawyer.

If done in a humorous manner. Dramedy

OK, I'm a drama queen :) but...wouldn't the humor in a drama be a little "fishy"? lol

humor in drama

Makes me think of life.... sometimes in order to make light of certain situations I look for the the humorous side.

Yes, we all need some kind of escape from reality and humor is good. Even the dark one.
I love when there is a good joke teller at a party. Some people can remember jokes and keep on rolling one after another. Any kind of humor: dumb, stupid, dark, dirty (those are good) :)

Holidays are coming, there will be some of that!

I heard you can pay $5.000 or more for such an activity.

Wow only 5 thousand . Must be midwest prices . A friend of mine was offered 25 thousand to marry a women so she could stay here and become a citizen.

Its sounds like a good amount of money. But its 3 years so what if all goes wrong in the three years . You know that they will interveiw you and your so called wife.

And I don't know if anyone knows this but how do you protect your self . In case of divorce . You can put it in writing. But illegal activity in writing does not hold up in court . So a contract between the both of you would not be considered by a Judge in any court . So if she and her friends get together and discuss her leaving you after the three years . What happens to everything you built together in this fake relationship. Than what Who gets what. You have to trust there word that they won't want anything.

Remember your living in the land of oppurtunity. The good old USA.

Well, you dont need to be merried for three years to get a green card. When u have it u can try to become a citizen not being merried, well it would get u started at least.

U have to marry someone that u trust like u said, I agree with that but 25 thousand seems a litlle bit to much.

Do they have to live together? I mean, do people from the government go and see where they live?

Also, how do Polish citizens find Americans to marry them for US citizenship? Do they find them on websites or are there organizations or do they just ask them on the street?

Can the above information and human dramas be funny? I guess, they can... but are they?

It would be Romantic Comedy which is funny at times but also dramatic.

There are bad people in every country. Some would take the money and they would disappear or turn the other person in to the authorities.

Bardosz
I have lived here all my life and I posted it earlier. Talk to some Poles that have stayed. They can help you. It is probably much harder to stay here illegally because of the terrorist attacks on September 11.

Edit: Be careful that your new Bride does not get a Life insurance policy on you. People can do it without the other knowing. Then good bye husband and hello insurance money.

That makes sense. I guess there are people who would do that to try and get rich.

First, You dont know them. What if You get merried with someone, and pay 2000, and that person will change her or his mind, what if u pay $5000. What if that person will want more many then u agreed to give. That person may give u a big problems that would take any chances of being lligal.

Thank u. If I get marrid it will be someone that I know.

Hi kryzs,
Where have you been? I haven't seen you on here in awhile. Did you ever find a girlfriend from the message you posted in the Singles section?

Anyway, did your friend ever marry the woman for 25,000 dollars? I wonder if people pay taxes on that kind of money or if they hide it.

Bartosz, go to any Polish translation, immigration, or travel office on Jackowo in Chicago or a Polish neighbourhood in other city and they will find you the right person. I doubt 8K will be enough, but that way you will be safe because the agency will know the person and would suggest someone who is safe.

The INS (there's one in Minnessota) will ask very personal questions, like: What side of the bed you slept? what color underware each had? when was the last time you had sex? They take them into different rooms and see if their stories match.

They could come unanounced at any time, so should have some pictures of both of them together.

I wanna stay in usa but my papers are out of date. I am trying, asking and it seems like the only way to stay here is to get a wife with usa citizenship. Any other sugestions?

My suggestion as Polish consul by education (Msc in Poland and PhD in the US) with
experience of many years in the US and other countries is to leave
the US silently as soon as possible and not trough the airport. Either to Mexico like illigal
Mexicans come to the US (walking) or to Canada. For example buying one-time
junk car and driving do junction 444 ant Del Bonita and live the car on US
side (there is a small barrier there 70 cm hight with a lock). The crossing is closed at night ,
but you can walk in to Canada. I am German scientist and world fame expert arrested this year summer
in Coutts while crossing Cannadian border with Polish passport used as the ID.
Was 2 months in jail in Florence after week travel with arrest stayovers.
Kept with some 200 people in one cell. Joined sowers hard beds. Public WC.
Please just leave the US now without trace as soon as possible as I say
as I would be Polish consul for you.

Why didn't you use a German passport if you're German?

Simply since 21 st of December is Schegen. No borders. No difference.

Just leave idiots if you are illigal or hide like in GG during WW2 from Gestapo
if you dont want to be killed in jail. US is still allied to Russia in the sence
that a lot want to see Poland back under Soviet rule since the oil would be
cheaper.

The illegal poles have no problems going back by plane back to Poland, no need to escape to another country first. But by being illegal and overstaying their visit, they won't be able to come back to the US for 10 years. And since they're here, illegaly or not, they want to make dollars to go home with something.

What an embarrasment it would be to come back to Poland with no dollars.....

Since Dec 21 you can make dollars in any country of EU (like Britain or France). Schegen means no gates or control of any kind. Only any country can exstride you unde

European Arrest Order or US can extride you under treat too if local court in EU coutry
permitts.

I douubt that too. As I say again I was arreested while LEAVING the US:
Canada returned me to US. This in principle can happen for example
with Netherlands even under EU when you enter from outside Schegen (my
flight to Warsaw was to Amsterdam where I was free).
They netherless have the right to deny entry under 2004
EU directive even to EU citizen under public safety and health etc.

Did you do something illegal? Normally when a Pole overstays his visa, he has no problems going back.

No they arrested me only for finding Polish passport with me with expired
B1 visa stamp. I told Canada I am living permanently in the US in the
sence of permission to enter (on US licence plates) (you have it).
Also have 50% convintion from Polish press (Dagmara Babiarz i Nowy
Dziennik some around March) that Poland is VWP.

Simply German trying get green card for 17 years always under dual intention **** it
all.

(on US licence plates)

plates only give you a right to drive, not to enter countries.. this isn't EU.

No dont have to get married. I can adjust under 245(i) if ever found illigal inside
the US. I no longer want US citizenship after arresting me for nothing.

Yes now I know. I was also trying on German citizenship, but they did
not recognizzed it since I had Polish passport with exppired Cannadian visa -
I only wanted to use it as ID,

Again, Dagmara Babiarz in Nowy Dziennik wrote that Poland is VWP. Then the
Canada would be without visa for this passport. As I tolsd you was driving
really 50-50 but really had
to get to Canada on date for any price. Tried first without ispection in Del Bonita, just in case.
The crossing there is closed at night and it pops clear on satelite photos.
But in magnification there is a little gate there some 70 cm high and you
cannot cross it without damaging it (which is probably felony). You can
only walk or take on bike.
