Was just trying to think how to word something for ola123, but I think the quote from miranda will be the nicest way. Much nicer than my words... I'm guessing that 123 is not her IQ unless it's 1 + 2 + 3?

You can always take two or more jobs or go abroad to work and afford to buy any Polish land you want.

News Flash... Its a cold day in Hell when property prices actually go down. ANYWHERE!

Before anyone argues back... yes they do drop sometimes but it is a rare occurence, when looking at the world picture of things, not just individual areas. The average house price in southern England has roughly doubled in the last 10 years if not more.

Well, then I am sorry, don't you want to go abroad to work for a while as somebody suggested?

My two cents worth.

Buying property in a city is one thing, but buying up the countryside is another. Remember that most Polish people live in the country not cities and when foreign folk start buying up whole tracts of land someone is going to get a little pi$$ed off.

On the other hand there are strict building regulations being put in place to stop, for example, the building of mansions with swimming pools and other excessive designs.

If it doesn't fit the existing pattern/style it won't get built.

A major problem you face is resentment/envy and all that comes with it.

We will see.

Ask english if they have to work 24 h to buy a 30m2 flat after 30 years of work?

Hey, babe. What to hell is wrong with you? I am trying to make friends here and you ruined it. How do you want to exist? No pain, no gain. Go to school and then make accusatons.

I'm not going to get dragged down any further... Ola123 you have no clue or appreciation of society or indeed governmental structures in the rest of the world. It's a little too much of me, me, me. Your sentiments are felt throughout the world (some worse than others granted). Please stop your resentment of everything that doesn't come from Poland. There are many countries that have had to deal with a huge migration of non nationals, and to the most part have had little in the way of problems in dealing with it. House prices and job availability being two of the main points that those countries face.

I'd love to buy property in Poland. Why not? It would be a nice place to get away from the rat race in America for a few months :)

I'm Polish and know Poles are good at revolts and revolutions, but now the EU keeps them hard for their face and nothing's gonna happen. The "loyal" Polish soldiers would kill the Polish crowd if they got the command from the EU quaters.

that's quite a pessimistic view:)
