Im not going to blame myself for the fact that women do not haemorrhage to death because they had a back street abortion.

I think u will find that this guy likes to blame life problems on those he feels aren't up to his so called level.

Who said she had fun? Men are guaranteed an orgasm, pregnancy is proof of that, women on the other hand are not.

Well not only, do u go into sex knowing you will have an orgasm?

Why do you think that is?

Many reasons of course. But why should a guy be left out of the process?

Only one to carry it for 9 months and take care of it for the rest of its life

Not exactly true, there are plenty of guys who if given the choice would do a lot more to be a part of that childs life.

All im saying is that there is a choice. Which I fully believe should be taken by both parties if possible. Unfortunately that is always the choice, final decision should be taken by the lass, but not without any talk with the guy.

from Wiki
Currently, Polish society is one of the most pro-life in Europe. In the poll European values in May 2005, 48% of Poles disagreed that a woman should be able to have an abortion if she doesn't want children. 47% were in favour of abortion. Out of the 10 polled countries, Poland was the only country where opposition to abortion was greater than support for abortion. However, the rate of opposition to abortion was not substantially higher than in other countries (42% in Portugal, 41% in Italy). [3] Most pro-life people are young (especially students) and elderly people as well as traditionally devout Catholic peasants.

I do because I dont shag every tom, dick and barry (im not using harry as it just makes me cringe at the thought of some middle aged bloke off a forum!)

Many reasons of course. But why should a guy be left out of the process? ShelleyS:

If a woman thought she could approach the said man, she would approach him. Would you not agree there are circumstances where women dont approach a man because they feel the response will to totally negative? Think long and hard about this one.

Not exactly true, there are plenty of guys who if given the choice would do a lot more to be a part of that childs life.

Well, we will have to disagree on this one, I think the numbers are relatively small.

All im saying is that there is a choice. Which I fully believe should be taken by both parties if possible.

Not always, but if there is I agree 100%.

final decision should be taken by the lass, but not without any talk with the guy.

This one, Im not sure about, some times a woman just wants to be reasured.

I guess that if those women would allow their children to survive, they would have far greater chances to survive themselves. But I'm afraid that this case is too complicated for some people...

This issue have little to do with killing unborn babies. It simply amaze me how ridiculous thesis people are ready to believe. This stubborn unwillingness to face the true and to spot their own logical inconsistency is so pathetic. There is nothing more humiliating to human mind than stubborn sticking to inconsistent logic pointed out by a third person.

If a woman thought she could approach the said man

There are too many if, buts, and maybes. If there is a chance of being able to air a view, then let it be aired. Im not talking about rape or **** here. Atleast let the opinion be heard.

Again if two people make this baby....shouldnt the two people agree to what happens to it??
In an ideal world of course.

Also what do u think about mothers who are clearly not fit to be them?

agree, so is judging others with negative remarks.

Get used to that, its lessers way ;)

It appears that men have no reproductive rights in western society. Only responsibility. Sounds like oppression to me.

How many times are we going to go over this very old boring topic.

Until we get it right.

ShelleyS, You know as well as I do that your position on abortion is either
1. A regurgitated philosophy that you were indoctrinated with. or, 2. You know that it gives you power over men and without it you would have to be (gasp!) equals.

I had to laugh at the reaction that I got when I brought up the "Falcon Punch" That situation exposes the truth of the twisted logic most "abortion on demand" advocates hold.

You were probably mortified that men had come up with the solution to their own "unwanted pregnancy" problem. The most amusing part is that you can't make it a crime any further than assault on a woman. Because, to do so would require you to give the unborn child a human being legal status! And we know you can't do that or your whole abortion philosophy falls apart. The new generation of males does not have the same respect for life that the previous did. More amusing yet is that the uber-liberal abortion rights advocates are the ones who destroyed it with their philosophy. You cant have it both ways.

This is funny how 'positive remarks' don't stir such controversy. Everybody would wish to be complimented but dose of deserved criticism is so hard to stand.

Wait few decades and doctrine of the church of political correctness will evolve into something opposite to Islam. :)

True, it should be repeated over and over that flawed logic leads to many ridiculous consequences.
