I like the Irish accent. LOL. don't ever lose it boys;). I would bend my rules for an Irish man, that is of course if he was suitable;)

By 'Suitable'... You mean, breathing occastionaly (enough to say "I do"), has two arms, legs, a couple of £million pounds in the bank and a heart problem :)

Hmmmmmmmmmm why are Polish girls so predictable......

(Now where did I put my asbestos suit.... Before I get flamed....)

For dating? Why not? You can date whoever you want. In terms of marriage and who you end up with, well that's another story.

Played out far too many times to know it.

I agree, I cannot complain about the ladies. They are very attracted to me, but this is not only because I am English, but also because I am a nice guy. I know how to threat women.

JustysiaS:
depends on the man! they're not all the same you know...
Just cut and paste Justysia's quote. You can also change the word 'man' into 'woman' and add 'Polish' or any other nationality as you wish... miraculously it will answer most of the relationship threads on here.

Totally agree...

One interesting point though... I notice that quite a few English guys that I know who have a non-British wife or girlfriend (by no means all - but certainly a significant number) seem to be a bit... um... lacking in social skills... and er... somehow socially flawed. And usually, their wife / girlfreind are often waaaay out of their league. But it's like the things about them that would turn the average British girl off seen to go unnoticed by the non-British girls.

A bit of a ramble, but does anyone agree with me?

85.90% of polish girls are golddiggers, so surely the answer to

"Do polish girls consider english men as good catches"

is a powerful and definite "Y E S !!!!"

Completly , its not so much that girls from other countries are gold diggers , but English men are regarded by many as being gentlemen ( not always true of course ) whereas men from their own country maybe are not....Many Polish and Russian girls have complained to me that men from their own country regard women as property , won,t help around the house , and spend too much time drinking with friends , English men are considered not to be like this , so a young pretty girl may be more inclined to overlook the fact that her English catch is old , bald , fat , and lacking in social skills....

Hahahaha - I saw so much of that in Moscow. Some of the stunning young ladies dripping diamonds and head to toe in designer lables would never have looked twice at their other American / British husbands if it weren't for the fact that they were filthy rich :D

Where abouts in London do you live? I think some of my friends would be interested in moving ;-)

I don't know of too many examples so it's difficult to pass judgement. I tend to think my girlfriend is with me despite the fact that I am English!

Maybe it's just the people that I know / have met over the years... I do have to stress that I do know a couple of mixed nationalisty couples who are a really good match and have a balanced relationship.

It's just when the relation isn't balanced (Ukrainian mail-oder brides looking for a meal-ticket is the extreme end of the scale) that I pull a funny face.

I think some of my friends would be interested in moving ;-)

LOL!!

What's the nicest possible way of threatening a women?

Lol - I don't think mail-order is the best starting point for a balanced relationship!

Trouble is that if you ask a question like that on a public forum you are gonna get plenty of stupid of answers.
Do Polish girls consider english guys a good catch? Are Polish girls all the same, stereotypical? I am guessing that they are not(the few that I know arn't) and so it would depend on the girl.

I would say that from my observation that Polish girls(and indeed girls of all race) want to be treated well and as equals, to be shown kindness etc... They would concider such a man a good catch, regardless of where he is from?

I would say they do, well better than german, french or russian thats for sure. Perhaps on par with America but i would say English is the cream of the crop for them being a rich English literature country and all that.

Exactly - hence I describe it as being at the extreme end of the scale.

I used to work with a girl who was a Russian Mail-order bride. She had a very alien mindset - very "transactional", even after she left her husband (not before securing the relevant visas and work-permits etc).

Ukrainian mail-oder brides

I had a number of young ( too young ) and pretty girls fall in love with me during my trips to Belarus , Russia , and Ukraine....I thought it was my charm and stunning goods looks , but you have gone and burst my bubble now.... sob sob..!

Awww...

I should point out that I am not tarring the Entire female population of the Ukraine with the same brush. I am sure that the majoprity of girls there are very genuine. Am only basing my comments on the mail-order brides that I have met.

You have to understand that for us Poles you are the best sniff of whats going on in Russia/Belarus or Ukraine. For them you are just charming English man, no problem with milicja and so on. Probably you can't realize how freedom hungry they are.

We ( Poles ) have no chance to travel there just like you We would be intimidated, harassed by milicja, threaten superstitious
And results are: in relatively free country you struggle to get a woman and over there every young chick is crazy about you ...because of visa thing and potential source of the gate to the free world. Thats the true.

I am often told by friends in places like Ukraine how bad it is over there , my friend Elena in Ukraine had her shop destroyed by a grenade because she didn,t choose to pay the local mafia , and no point complaining to the police , they are mafia too...I have to say though that even though i went alone on my Harley i didn,t have any problems with police or anybody else , perhaps i was just lucky , everybody i met was very nice to me...

Many Poles like to stay in their own communities and not mix too much, which is fine - if they want that. For example dating Polish men, speaking mainly Polish, working with Polish people, living in a all Polish area etc. However there can be many mutual benefits for having an anglo-polish relationshop: You can show them places in England they have never been before, make them part of your English family, provide them with a home etc. At the same time they can take you to places in Poland that you would never see without them. Learn about Poland and mabey buy a property together in Poland etc...

Not just material things. I If you don't want to be part of an English family or mix with English people, you can stay in the Polish community - thats your choice.
