wildrover 98 | 4,451 5 Oct 2007 / #1Hi people...I want to ask about Polish radio stations....I live near Polczyn zdroj and currently listen to either radio Kosalin , or rmf.fm....they are ok , but don,t seem to play any current Polish music , and not so good English music....What is the best station to listen to in my area , that plays good Polish music , and English rock music.....advice please....
Polson 5 | 1,770 5 Oct 2007 / #2Don't know what are the best, but i can tell you what i know : Radiozet (mix of famous "old" songs and quite new music), Eska (but i don't really know, it seems nice anyway ;)...
ukpolska 5 Oct 2007 / #3You can get XFM on the internet xfm.co.uk/home.asp but you have to be in the UK to listen to it, but there is a way around this. If you just enter a UK post code in the box after selecting listen, it will play no problem. :O)

There are several classic rock stations.Try this link for some Polish radio stationsmultilingualbooks.com/online-radio-polish.htmlClick on the actual link to the radio stations to listen live.

Krzysztof 2 | 973 16 Dec 2007 / #10I don't like radio, but that's what my brother is listening (Antyradio Warszawa):213.251.138.121:7000(a link to paste in Winamp, VideoLan (VLC) or some other player, but it doesn't work in WMP 9, maybe fault of my settings)I don't really recommend this to you, because I have no idea what they are playing (I only know there's much of Polish rock from the 80's during the night-time, but right now there's some program about alcohol addicts, with reading letters from the listeners etc.)

Eurola 4 | 1,907 20 Dec 2007 / #17So, I had a chance to listen to the PIN station a couple of times. It's nice. I have it on now. There are some english, french, italian songs besides polish. I don't know any of the singers, some sound jazzy. Good voices, good music. Adds to my variety...BTW, it is also on radiostacje.com and you don't need to sign up to listen...Warszawa PiN 102 FM
BubbaWoo 33 | 3,510 20 Dec 2007 / #18glad you like it - they also do a collection of cds called pinacolada... same sort of music
Eurola 4 | 1,907 20 Dec 2007 / #19ah, you listen to it then... goody. There are many "old', popular way back when polish or english songs done in this smooth "jazzy" way, enjoyable listening.
