My girlfriend thinks she's pregnant! Pomocy!!

pregnancy tests are about as accurate in telling you whether you are pregnant or not as the Pill preventing you from getting pregnant... If your gf thinks she might be having a baby, she should get one of those tests from your local pharmacy and use it first thing in the morning (the result is the most accurate for women in early stages of pregnancy if they do the test first thing in the morning) and then again few days later. all instructions will be on the label. been there done it, but turned out i was just being paranoid... if you DONT want the baby, waiting for her belly to grow is the stupidest thing you can possibly do, then it will definitely be too late to do anything about it.

A good lesson: you are responsible for your actions.
I'll take the baby if you don't want it. It'll have a pony, a puppy, I'll teach it to play music, paint, someday this child of your will be famous. Wait and see. it will all work out.

I dont think that scaremongering stuff from pro-life campaigners helps the situation.

thats a very good point saphire.........does anyone believe in abortion....or believe it can be?

that is very very weird...you are a very strange person........whatever about wanting the baby from me.......but the bit about it having a pony....What the Fu** is that about...really weird!!!

Who said I was pro-life? Please don't prejudge me.

I am not scaremongering. I went with an open mind to a post-abortion chat group. On that group every woman is devastated. There is one woman who regrets her abortion so much that she cuts herself with a knife. Yes, it's true -- some of them get over it -- but it takes years.

Please visit. afterabortion.com if you don't believe me. Read the stories yourself. It is not a pro-life site.

I bet none of you have had an abortion. You would not be so casual about it if you had.

And I am not pro anything, except pro-women. Lack of information about post-abortion syndrome is one more way in which women are being exploited in this world.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound weird, just making a joke. I care for foster children and have my own and hate to think about people aborting innocent children. It's not their fault they were being conceived. People should be responsible for their actions. Even immature ones like you. Aborting and not wanting your own child... now that is weird.

pro-women.

what is this about pro women...are you yet another one of those feminists?? oh jaysu!!
if i went around saying (which i dont by the way) that i am pro men.....then i would be called gay or a male shovenist pig.......................

one more way in which women are being exploited in this world.

where do you live Africa??!! because in most european countries including poland...women are treated equal and are well respected!

by the way i am pro women also....ooooooooooooh yaaaaaa :P

Didn't you say you had unprotected sex a few days ago? If you did, you're probably not safe just yet.

I think there must have been more deep rooted problems, I have friends have had abortions and not been affected at all by it...I dont think its something to be taken lightly but the choice is there.

yesssssssssss i am soooooooooo happy....now i am going to get drunk to celebrate!!! thanks you people for all your wise words.........

I hope you listen to these wise words.....use a condom next time.....even if she is on the pill, no form of birth control is 100% effective (except abstinence and sterilization) so anything extra would be a wise choice, so you don't have to worry again.

P.S. I am glad there is not a baby coming into this world by parents who don't want him. I have the feeling you and your gf would have kept the child, which would have been a huge mistake.....there are so many couples out there dying to have children that can't.....if she were pregnant, I would hope she would give it up for adoption......that is love....giving the child a chance at a decent life with parents who desperately want them.

At the risk of embarassing myself, this morning I had a small panic attack... I have a very irregular cycle so usually do a test each month 'just in case'. Looked down at the stick, and lo and behold, two bloody lines. I was immediately sick and burst into tears as being a mother isn't exactly my goal right now...

After half an hour I thought I'd do the second test in the box just to be sure - when I picked up the box I saw the front where it announced in bold letters 'New and Improved'; one line and a cross is now the symbol for pregnant, and two lines is confirmation that you did the test correctly but you're not pregnant. Just goes to show, you should always read the instructions!

Told my POH the story this afternoon and he thought my stupidity was hilarious...

Which is exactly how you got yourself into this situation to begin with...maybe a little more responsibility and a little less wildness? :) Just a thought...
