It's good if you want to study medicine in Poland. I know Poznan has a nice university(UMS) but I doubt you can work unless you speak Polish.

@Awayguy

You do know that both chinese and indian minorities are getting better grades, have better living standards and have a larger participating workforce in average than the ethnic whites of England?

I read something about every 4th doctor in England is indian.

Just some food for thought.

One must keep in mind, however, that the IQ of the average Indian is 81, whereas the average Englishman has an IQ of 100. This information is available on wikipedia, and is based on the research of Richard Lynn and Tatu Vanhanen in their book "IQ and the Wealth of Nations."

I am ethnically "white," of Polish and Italian descent, and would probably blend in pretty well. But I have heard that there is some resentment of foreigners, and especially non-Europeans, in Eastern Europe. I don't know if this is exaggerated, or if there may be some danger from a very small minority of the population. I want to visit Poland, and perhaps stay for a year or two as an English teacher, but I am a little nervous about the resentment some of the young men especially might feel.

I think that many of them believe--perhaps legitimately--that wealthier Westerners, Americans, and others are coming to--quite frankly--steal their women and take advantage of the weaker economy/wealth differential. I think people need to be sensitive to this perception, as it IS human nature. Maybe some of the native Poles could tell us if this is the case? Is the general feeling toward foreigners staying in Poland to work negative?

Yeah, there are quite a few indian doctors in Australia and the joke is that they get their doctorates from cereal packets their advice is so bad.

ha, u wanted to see hot guy? why?

no, i don't wanna see any guy, what i meant was you wanted me to react but i realised you could not have seen him because he has no profile.

ok, ure gay or u wanted to see whos hot for great wyspi :P

with respect wyspi i don't really care what you find hot when it comes to looks, lol, its nothing personal but why would i be interested in what any girl finds hot. People are who they are :)

But if you fancy a bit of Indian then thats your choice :)

From Slough UK near London: Hello Poland - I am an Indian and looking for indian friends in Poland to talk to even visit as I go to poland regularily to see my polish friends and attend their parties and stay with their families in Kutno. Also 20 of my friends went to stag party in Krakow in June enjoyed ourselves very much. I know more than 50 polish friends and their families in Slough most of whom have stayed at my home when they came to England. I also know almost all their families in Poland but I did not see any Indian people in Warsaw / Krakow area during my visits this year. Is any one out there want to talk?

Hi... Aap Kaise hai?? There are many many many Indians in Warsaw - 80% of my friends! hehe NEXT TIME I suggest look out for a bollywood party organization called "Delhi Dreams" I am a dancer with them. Super party to Bollywood tunes all nice around 1 -2 x a month. If you'd like to know more send me a private message and for sure will pass on information. Also check out bollywood.pl (in Polish) but it's a Polish Bollywood guide. TC
