Maybe you should just talk to him about it all. Thats the biggest mistake I made. Difference is you have the opportunity to make it better for the both of you. How about leaving it acouple of weeks after he's gone and then meeting him over their. Maybe going to live their short term and see how your relationship goes? If you've only been together a couple of months, your not exactly hitched and married, so don't just jump in their packing your bags and leaving your life for him.
If I was him and you were coming from your own country to be with me. Then I'd be pretty impressed and understand that you are really interested. Just don't go too committed, if it doesn't work out you've still got your life in the US.
