Love / POLISH CIVIL CEREMONIES TRADITIONS AND TIMELINE [8]

I know there have been numerous threads about Polish weddings on the PF's, but could someone tell me whether a civil ceremony is different to a tradition wedding? One of my friends (who's from the UK is marrying a Polish guy), she is divorced and not catholic - just wondering what the ceremony will be like??

Polonia / Visiting HONG KONG by a Polish person [2]

Well, I am still trying to plan a surprise holiday for my Polish friend, New York was proving very difficult because of the visa - how easy would it be for him to get a tourist visa to Hong Kong??????

Thanks guys

Just answered my own question!!!!! Polish nationals do not require a visa to enter Hong Kong for up to 90 days - this is excellent. Now, can anyone help me plan this surprise. Do I just tell him to turn up in the UK with his passport????? I am thinking about taking him next year - he knows I am planning a visit but not to where.

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

Jambo, I ask myself this all the time - but I would rather have him as a friend than nothing at all - I have tried dating other guys but I still keep wishing I was with him. I'll just enjoy our holiday for what it is - A NICE HOLIDAY IN LONDON AND FRANCE :.) xx

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

Jambo - I really wish we were more than friends. I told him how I feel so he knows. So, we are just friends - but, as my pals say, if it was just friends, he probably wouldn't go on holiday jwith just ust me and him :.)

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

We originally wanted to go to New York but he was having a lot of trouble and expense getting a visa - so as I live in the UK and flights from Poland are so cheap, he is flying here and then we are going to London on the train and then the Eurostar to Paris - that is after my two weeks visit to him in Poznan :.) x

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

As far as I'm concerned - it isn't a romantic trip - he's never been to London and neither of us has been to Paris - and we both love to travel. It's just a holiday :.( - I wish it was a romantic trip!!!

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

still hasn't said how he feels about me to my face (although he has to other people)

Well, he's told our mutual friends that he really likes me and 'has plans for my heart' (this sounds very romantic), but this seems to have gone on for ages!! He is extremely shy but I really wish he would say something.

It would be quite weird if he had no feelings for you AND at the same time he travels with you to Paris and London...

Very true - if I didn't have feelings for someone, I don't think I would travel with someone either.

We were going to New York but he was finding it soooooo hard to get a Visa, so we decided on London and Paris instead - if he doesn't say something to me then, well I will just give up :.)

Love / WILL HE OR WONT HE??? [24]

........Tell me how he feels?? ..Some of you may remember that I was totally in love with my Polish friend - he has moved back to Poland now but still hasn't said how he feels about me to my face (although he has to other people) - well, we are going on holiday together to Paris and London - I just can't wait - Paris is one of the most romantic places in the world!! Here's hoping????

USA, Canada / VISA TRAVEL TO USA [32]

I live in the UK and my friend lives in Poland - we plan to go to New York for a week next November - how likely is it that he will get a visa????? My other Polish friends has just said that he stands no chance unless he has got loads of money - anyone know anything about the situation?? Is it the same for travel to Canada??

Love / STRANGE BEHAVIOUR FROM MY POLISH FRIEND [16]

It is a difficult situation because I really did value his friendship - even if he didn't like me in that way. I've turned my 'phone off today just to stop myself seeing if he's sent me a txt. Pawel is such a nice guy and you're right, I'll concentrate on him from now on. Why are men like this?? He really did give me the impression that it was more than friends!!! It's very hard to turn off your feelings though :.(

Love / STRANGE BEHAVIOUR FROM MY POLISH FRIEND [16]

Yeh it's the same guy and Pawel is the new guy that i'm now attached to!!!!! But why my friend is acting like this is very upsetting - he made it clear that we were only friends (only I know it was more), but since I've been with Pawel he's been very odd. We did everything together and he really was so caring so I can't understand why he's acting like this. When he was here, if I talked to another man he would be there giving whoever I talked to very 'evil' looks!!!!!

Love / STRANGE BEHAVIOUR FROM MY POLISH FRIEND [16]

Well, I had fancied this guy for ages and Im sure he felt the same but never said anything only that I was his friend. He went back to Poland and I relectantly agreed to have a date with another guy that had asked me out. I had a txt from my friend in Poland and I replied back telling him various bits and bobs and that I had had a lovely traditional Polish meal and attached a picture of my lovely new hairdo (which loads of people have commented on and say it really suites me). He replied back and never mentioned my meal and said he preferred my hair how it was and didn't like it!!! He has blatantly ignored any mention of Pawel and has started giving me the cold shoulder on the txt!! I don't want to lose his friendship but does this sound like a case of jealousy???

Love / FEMALE 'BEST FRIEND' ACCORDING TO A POLISH GUY [22]

Is it unusual to be 28 years old and unmarried in Poland?????? I think he's really good-looking too - I was quite surprised he wasn't spoken for.

Love / FEMALE 'BEST FRIEND' ACCORDING TO A POLISH GUY [22]

Is he the kind of guy "every man wants to be and every woman wants to be with"?

No not really - he's 28 and has never had a girlfriend!!!

he likes your company but doesnt fancy you or doesnt want to get involved with you for some other reason

This is good as I am already spoken for!!!!
