This is an approximate phonetic translation, not all Polish sounds can be written in an English way.

Language / Common mistakes made by foreigners in Polish [90]

my girlfriend says that often and i always ask "polish 'no' or english 'no'?"

Hahahah I always do that when I am talking to my relatives there because we talk in both languages....but they are convinced Polish 'no' sounds different

Life / Animosity between Poland vrs. Polonia? [98]

I agree actually. However they don't feel this way. Just because you speak and write in english doesn't make you English in their minds. This is what they say to me.

I guess they don't realize there is a lot of Polish culture and traditions abroad

To them if you've never lived here, your not Polish.

And it's funny because I know several Polish kids who never lived there but they went to the weekend Polish school, took Polish dancing, speak/write/read Polish fluently, I think I would consider them Polish

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

Don't be so sensitive

I am not really, the usual comments really don't bother me but lately i've been seeing a lot of ridiculous insults that make my stomach turn. And trust me I am not one to flaunt that, I pretty much blend it with society, besides my stereotypically amazing fashion sense=P

I live in America, ingod and call people faggats all the time even when their not.

Well actually I am gay and I really don't get insulted by people saying fag because I consider a fag an extremely effeminate homosexual, ya know the stereotypical fag but I am pretty offended by what some of the people on this forum have said about homosexuals whether they're jokes or not, there is no need for it. I wouldn't go off about any minority like that, i'm not saying people have to accept it, I am saying have some respect.

he asked me *Do you want to be my girlfriend?

Maybe you have the power to convert=P

Yeah but it's a lot harder for homosexuals to adopt/find a surrogate mother then it would for a straight couple to have a one night stand and pop a baby out.

See if we were all straight we would be survive, however if we were all gay then we would die out. We don't need fags they need us.

Overpopulation.

Life / Expat Wife Moving to Warsaw, Poland [30]

Warsaw isn't really suited to getting around by foot

The part I was in was crowded with people and cars could barely get around them, I think it was the main square though?

Is Warsaw, a good city to travel on foot

I would say, yes because sometimes you can barely drive in the street because so many people are in the way.

UK, Ireland / gay guys in London seek surrogacy female [134]

I don't need any statistics, in the area I live, there is not a single gay person with gay parents....and out of the gay couples I know with children, their children are all straight.

"what if all our children become gays"?

Again, gay people don't raise gay children, heterosexual couples raise gay children, there is not one gay person I know that has gay parents.

Life / Polish Green Card [23]

This is not required for a 2 week vacation is it?

Not usually, certain countries need a visa to travel for any amount of time but most can stay 90days without a visa.

they can raise more gays

Yes but heterosexuals raise gay kids, so how would it be rational to conclude that gay couples would just raise more gay kids?
