Language / Understanding Languages [24]

So, you agree the word is archaic without having seen or heard it even once?

Not after your post
I am just saying I don't think it's a very common word

The form "oczow":

- is frequent.

Not really, I have never heard/seen it once.

Language / 'Na pole' or 'na dwor' ? [32]

I say 'na pole' just because most of the Poles I know are from Southern Poland.

Travel / Going to Poland this summer -- US dollar prediction... [34]

I'm going to Poland in the summer and my friend scared the life out of me that the dollar is supposed to go way down

Well everything is so cheap in Poland, exchange rate is good. No fees for the currency exchange, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Language / Genitive case ("nie ma nic" vs "nie ma niczego") [71]

Because its a bottle OF wine
The genitive case uses possession as well as units of something
Ex. Muzyka świata(Music of the world) Music is nominitive, world is genitive

Language / 'Uwierzyłem w kłamstwa te' - Confusion [15]

w it can take the accusative case or the prepositional case depending on movement

That is exactly what I wrote above.

You wrote depending on movement, well this phrase doesn't have movement which is why I was confused about the accusative. Justysia's answer was different than yours.

Language / 'Uwierzyłem w kłamstwa te' - Confusion [15]

d say its because even though its got "w" in it, you get the accusative because it asks 'into what', ie what you believed in. Biernik - kogo? co?, in this case w kogo? w co?, accusative question still remains.

Finally the answer I was awaiting=) thanks Justysia!

what song was it, Davey? help me shut the troll up.

'Nasze Kłamstwa' by Szymon Wydra, and yeah you're right it was used that way to make it rhyme, the next line is 'teraz nie mam wiary tej'

Language / 'Uwierzyłem w kłamstwa te' - Confusion [15]

Thanks but I am fine with cases, it was this particular preposition used with the accusative without movement being denoted which confused me.

Work / Six-figure USD income doing business in Poland... Possible? [44]

it seems you know about as much about american real estate as you do about most things

I watch all those real estate shows. There are nearly dilapidated houses in Cali going for a half a mil whereas on the other side of the country you can get amazing houses for around a hundred grand, its crazy.

Language / 'Uwierzyłem w kłamstwa te' - Confusion [15]

Okayy in this song it says 'Uwierzyłem w kłamstwa te'
I know 'w' is accusative when it means 'into'(as an action) usually so why isn't it 'Uwierzyłem w tych kłamstwach'?
