Who the hell substitutes a small teaspoon for a knife?

Perhaps his eyesight is not so good....had a grope around in the cutlery drawer for a knife , and got a spoon by mistake....easy done...!

Life / SHOCK HORROR...good customer service in Poland [10]

I see a lot of posts from Brits living in Poland about the poor level of customer service here , so i thought i should mention some good service i recieved here...

After buying a satnav system for my car from the local Biedronka i was a bit disapointed to find that there were no instructions in English...

I sent an email ( in English ) to the importers of the satnav.. a company called Sigmateam sp z o o in Warsawa asking if it was possible to get any instructions in English for my satnav...

The company replied very quickly in English to say that the satnav was tailored to the Polish market , and there were no English instructions available..but they did give me step by step instructions on how to change the language on the satnav to English...

I am happy to say i soon got the hang of the satnav..and will change the language back to Polish when i am more familiar with it.....

Some English guy robbed a bank with what he said was a gun hidden under a carrier bag....turned out it was a banana.....Silly sod might as well have used a real gun , because when he was caught , he got the same sentance as he would have done for a real gun.... The judge decided that he had put the same fear into the bank staff as he would have done if he had a real gun..... eight years in jail for a hold up with a banana ....silly man...

Many people die from infections that antibiotics should have cured...the reason...people have been filling themselves up with pills and potions of every kind for the slightest ailment , and many diseases have developed a resistance to the antibiotics....

I don,t take any pills or potions unless i really have to , mind you , i have no idea how many antibiotics are injected into the animals that are turned into food...probably better i don,t know...!

I think its fair to say that Gliwice is not exactly New york when it comes to entertainment....your best bet is to make friends with the locals , and find out where its all happening....if you have a good bunch of friends you can have fun anywhere....

The problem with men is that they like to play the macho attitude

Ha....in my case just the opposite....doctors , hospitals etc , scare me daft...i avoid them as much as possible....Mind you during twenty odd years of motorcycle and car racing doctors became a part of life...possibly why i avoid going to them now , unless i really have to...its not wise , i know....Actually i think women are tougher when it comes to resisting illness , but they are more likely to get something checked out before it gets serious...guys tend to wait till its too late to fix it...
