How many polish people in Poland do you see marry interracially

Thats only because in poland there is not much choice :)
But outside poland, polish girl would date or marry whoever is good for her without looking on religion or race.

You need conveniences to stay in the game: prepackaged foods

What about healthy food ? And actually food that has a good taste and is not plastic ?

Food / Polish cuisine and eating habits missed by Poles abroad [16]

I wont answer for all polish people but ill answer for myself as a polish girl in Uk :)
1. I only buy take away when im really really tired or for any reason cant cook at home. Always try to cook food at home. Even if i know that next day i dont have much time to cook , i will cook soup and just put in the fridge ready for next day.

2. Times of eating: breakfast (whatever time you wake up), dinner around 4pm, supper like 7ish.
breakfast - usually some sandwiches, dinner - soup and potatoes + meat + salad, supper - either sandwiches or whatever is left after dinner :)
As a drink - usually some fruity stuff. We dont normally have wine with our meals.
3. Sorry but english food sux :) (Except of roast dinner :) ) So i usually cook polish food.
4. We can get all polish stuff we need from pakistanian shops :)
5. How much ? Depends what sort of food would it be and what quality. I would pay all money in the world to get my grandmothers racuchy or pierogi :)

Love / Czech girl's opinion about Czech, Polish, and Russian girls. [25]

1.Czech girls are divided into normal and kurvy
2.Polish girls are mostly strange, shot in the head asking for marriage in a relationship or they are kurwy.

What about normal polish girls ???

3.All russian girls are kurvy.

UK, Ireland / Unemployed due to Polish who work in the UK [126]

I am Polish but i can't agree with this statement. As far as "Native Speaker" jobs, we couldn't do it anyway. A Polish teacher couldn't do what you guys can

yes but I'm interested to learn English that people really use in countries like UK, USA, Canada etc.

Justyna i do understand what you mean, but trust me - you can have great pronunciation but without proper gramma you will sound like uneducated person. There is English and English - by the way people create their sentences and use gramma you can tell what "class" they are.

And still i think we shouldnt get rid of our polish accent when we spek English - that makes us unique :) And they say it sounds cute ^^

would prefer to have an accent that people are able to understand

They do understand polish accent :)
And i still think we should keep our accent. If all people spoke in exact same way it would be boring :)
And yes sometimes you are judged by your accent especially when it comes to getting a job but i like my polish accent :)

Travel / Changing Poland [75]

I am on holiday in poland atm and when i came to my home town i was shocked!
So many things changed in 2 years time. So many new things has been built!!!
Wherever i look there is new superstore! New aqua park and everything! My favourite park was made into TESCO!
Everyone is still moaning about unemployment but surley there is alot of vacancies in all those new stores ! Are we being lazy and dont want to work for them ? Or is there any other reason for that ?

Alot changed and probably today i will find another thing that will surprise me.
What are your thoughts about visiting your homes ?

Travel / Changing Poland [75]

hey hey boys please stop slagging one another !!!

I just wanted nice and simple topic of what changed in Poland.

Another thing my mum pointed to me today: I am too polite :) In England every1 was telling me that i should say "please" more often when i ask for things. I tried to explain them that im not trying to be impolite, its just the language diffrence and the way people talk. I got used to English way (especially working with customers) and saying please every 5 sec. Now when i went shopping with my mum she was like: Stop saying that please, you sound unnatural and false.

I found that weird when sales person was almost rude to me in shop (local small one) and she looked tired and upset that she has to be there.

Now question - are we being impolite or English people are too polite ?
Is it sincere or just words ?
hmmmm

The english are tought as children from a very young age (as soon as a child learns to speak) to say please and thank you

We are tought that aswell, but not every 5 sec. Like making a transaction in the shop you dont say in polan thank you 7 times within 3 min as you do in england. Once is enough. Being polite is very important and poles are polite.

But the ladies in shops and especially post office are not polite at all as if they were angry that you're there and interupt them

The lady today looked like she wanted to wish me dead for interrupting her knitting:) How do i dare to ask for assistance :)

While in Poland I've experienced a lot of good manners. Most shops I've walked into I was greeted with a "Dzien Dobry" and a "Prosze Bardzo" after purchasing sth. Are these fake greetings like we have in the US?

No they are not fake. You will be greeted and thanked for purchase you made. But once :)

another thing is with word please when you ask some1 for something.
In poland form "Czy moglbys mi podac cukier" is already considered as polite. (Could you pass me sugar" In England automatically you would add please at the end. You dont do that in poland. Thats why English people always correct me and add please at the end.

Love / OK then Girls, whats good about the Polish lady?? [46]

i had a polish girl before i was just asking hte opinion

well if you had a polish girl you should know yourself what was good about her.
But still remember that she was just one of many polish girls and you cant make a statment about all polish girls.
We can tell you that we are the best in the whole wide world ever and we are the best in cooking, talking, playing, sex or whatever you think of - would you believe ?

Every person is diffrent, ever woman is diffrent.
yes maybe we are raised into bit more familly orientaited enviroment but that doesnt change the fact that we are women and every single one of us is diffrent on her own way.
