Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

Girls trying to get me in bed when they already had a boyfriend.
Strange impulsive reactions.
Threats of suicide.
Being used to make another guy jealous.
Trying to move out of a boyfriend's flat into mine.

and it's only happened to you with Polish girls?
The non-polish ones would never do that?
The non-polish women are perfectly stable, never make their men jealous, never move-out. They date a guy, they get married and then have kids with him and they live happily ever after?

I don't know the Polish scene outside Poland very well.

I know both...

Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

I realise that I can never understand. But I have met Polish girls who are either unaware of it or unaffected by it. Of course, they live in Poland, so I guess it's different for Polish girls living abroad.

exactly Alx, I never realised it until I moved abroad and I'm now really sick of it you know. I never thougt of Polish women as being easy, unfaithful etc although I know them very well, as you can imagine :)

Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

Well, I guess it's about girls being _bitchy about others girls in general. But the bad reputation was about Polish girls being an easy catch, or going out with more then one guy at the same time.

Luke you should ask yourself a question - is it only Polish girls being an easy catch/going out with more than 1 guy?
I don't think so, I know PLENTY of girls of very different nationalities (you'd be surprised) that do exactly the same, so don't pay attention to the others' opinion, it's with her that you have a relationship and not with "some people back home" :)

Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

I wasn't talking about how quickly they went to bed. I meant that it was very easy for almost any foreign guy to attract and sleep with a girl at that time.

going to bed and sleeping with a girl is equal, so it seems to me that we are talking about the same thing.
It is easy for you to say you can't change that, don't have to take it seriously because you are not personally concerned - you are not a Polish girl and you will never understand how it hurts...

Love / Techniques for meeting Polish girls [68]

No, no, no. Why do some nationalities have a worse reputation than others? Is it totally random? How can it be?

Like which nationalities have a worse reputation?

Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

Polish girls were infatuated with foreign men and 'gave it up' a little too easily.

oh because with a non-Polish girl it is extemly difficult maybe? as if with e.g. English girl you'd have to go out for 10 years before having sex????

Anyway, this reputation is wrong.

and e.g. English girls are the most judgemental about this matter.

in your opinion, why it's mostly English girls and not English men?
After all, it's not the English girls who sleep with the Polish girls, so how would they know?

Like it or not, people who come from a certain cultural background do share particular characteristics.

I find it ridiculous to think that women are unfaithful or easy because they are Polish.
In my opinion these are personal traits of character and not national ones...

ShelleyS:
Then why call UK your home. Slightly misleading wouldnt you say.

HOME - relating to or being where one lives or where one's roots are, at or to or in the direction of one's home or family, to the fullest extent,(...)

as per the definition, he doesn't have to be native British to call UK home...

Thanks for the nice comment Nika. That is surely true for me as well. But outside of the four walls it does matter a bit.

but it shouldn't really!
I realise that it's not always easy but if you believe in her you have to stand up for her everytime you hear this Polish girls are this or that bulls***.

I hate people that generalise, if you are an intelligent person you don't judge people by where they come from and especially you don't jugde a nation based on the emigrants that you came accross in your home country and I hope I don't have to explain why...

courage!!!!!!!

I'm a little concerned about some negative comments I get from people back home (UK) about Polish girls, or having a Polish girlfriend.

you should not be worried about comments concerning Polish girls because you don't have Polish girlfriends but a Polish girlfriend and you should only be concerned about her.

If you trust her, find her faithful and uneasy then that is all that counts.
What really matters is what YOU think about HER and not what some people from UK think of Polish women in general!

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

Are you guys serious or you are making up these stories?
I probably shouldn't but I burst into laughter when I read them. I've never heard/seen women getting physical with their husbands.
I am astonished!!!

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

Oh my God - she cut your face with a beer can!!!!!??????
I think that these girls realise they exaggerated but they just don't want to admit their mistake, I mean you can't think that punching/kicking/cutting poeple is OK!

no it is not a norm in Poland to hit one's boyfriend! so no worries you can continue dating Polish girls without fear of being treated like a punchbag :)

This girl must have some serious anger management issues...

Belgium is OK, they have very good beer (especially the cherry, peach or raspberry ones are delicious) and chocolate, also life is pretty nice here - salaries are OK and you work 35h/week only, it's not very expensive, social security and medical care are very good.

On the other hand, the weather is bad, food is not very tasty and people and the country in general are not very interesting.
It's just not a country that you dream of you see, people come here because they got a job in one of the eu institutions or because they follow their husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend...

Life / Why do People spend half their lives complaining about living in Poland? [55]

As far as Polish people are concerned then it is our national trait.
For the foreigners, well people seem to always compare the place they live in with the place they come from and seem to always be surprised that for example in Poland people don't do things the same way they do in UK, US etc.

I agree with what was said before, when you go abroad be open-minded and prepared that everything will be different, expect the un-expected and learn from it!!!!

Complaining about is like "walka z wiatrakami"...how would this be in English???

Love / Is my marriage proposal with a Polish girl idea good? Girls, what u think! [49]

have you ever met me, talked to me in person? Do you know what I've done, been through in my life?
The answer is no, so stop telling me which category I fit to, if I am stupid or smart, exceptional or ordinary.
I don't agree with your point of view on men/women relationships that's it, it doesn't mean that you have to judge me in any way Mr I Got It All Figured Out How Women Think But Can't Get Any
