1 Which is destined to Europe, North America, Japan and Australia, which are good, must pass rigorous tests.
2-Crap, which is sold to the countries were no quality standards are enforced.

That sucks, well indeed it varies a bit from country to country, not all have good quality standards before letting export in.
But we can never expect products to be as good as what the germans produce.

I think that we are a bit overreacting with the whole slave thing.
Slavery is ilegal in China, what happens is that the wages are lower because the costs are slower. The Yuan is 10 lower in worth than the euro, and you can buy things with pennies.
During the time that i lived in China i met a lot of people who worked in fabrics, they were not 100% happy, but at least they made money for a good living in the city and to send to their families in inner China.
China is a country in development, so its gonna take a while to adjust to western labour laws. But slavery i think is a much bigger problem in India.
