I'm really shocked and very much disappointed to know that Polish girls are marrying Americans. The number is growing day by day. I work in embassy and have noticed this matter exclusively. I've come across hell lot of caese. is there any valid reason for this? is it all about better life and job? are Americans better than us? are we poor and worthless? if you look at the history of America and the people started America, you can easily understand their character and culture. I've even seen girls are coming back after few years with broken hearts. I just can't see and tolerate this horrible practice. I think i need to take anger management classes. what do you say?

Why more polish girls are marrying Americans?

because they're free and can do what they want... and also more and more young people know English good enough so there is no such thing as language barrier anymore.

Stop referring to it like it's some breathtaking phenomenon. You may want to sit down for this news, but apparently people can marry people of other nationalities. It happens. What's the big deal?

What's wrong with americans? I bet more polish girls marry brits/irish than americans - r you going to be "disappointed" with them as well?

is it all about better life and job?

Yes.

I agree. Americans are the scum of the earth. I would rather see them marrying some camel jockey, and live a wonderful life under a veil. Much better outcomes would be expected.

I just can't see and tolerate this

Do you want Poland to go back to some communism dictature?

Polish girls (and boys) can choose who they want to marry.
You can not decide who someone else should marry.

You can also marry who you want, someone from Poland, USA, England, Italy or any other country.

Oh shock!

The number is growing day by day

Oh the horror!

is there any valid reason for this?

That you work in an embassy? No.

is it all about better life and job

Maybe a little love, too?

are Americans better than us? are we poor and worthless

Guess...

coming back after few years with broken hearts

Because they've got the pink slip from their lovers and couldn't cope with the American way of life afterwards?

I think i need to take anger management classes. what do you say

I suggest, you simply relax.

is there any valid reason for this?

Probably.

is it all about better life and job?

maybe these are contributing factors rather than the only reasons.

are Americans better than us?

Well considering you are talking about the European descendants in the U.S.A., the question and answer is, are we better than us.

are we poor and worthless?

No, definitely not.
I have met people with a hell of a lot of money but they were very poor.

And worthless, well that is just too far.

I just can't see and tolerate this horrible practice.

Two friends of mine just got divorced after 2 years!!!.
He is from the U.S. and she is from Eastern Europe (not Poland).
He is back in the U.S. and his family will bring him out for drinks etc...
Just another divorce.

She, on the other hand, is from a different culture and it is going to be very difficult for her.
Thankfully they have no kids and she is pretty and he is handsome.
What I am getting at here is the cultural difference, it pisses me off big time.
Divorce is not Okay.

how so?

divorce is not ok, but it happens and holding anger in over it wont change anything.

how so?

Well he will be cheered up by his buddies and it is common enough in the U.S. (am I being a dick?).

She is from Romania and her family and friends are religious, kinda.

i suppose what pisses me off the most, is that they could not work it out GGGGGRRRRRR!!!!

He did not beat her and she wasn't unfaithful and it pisses me off that they have no "valid" reason to split.

It angers me, not even a marriage councillor....
Anyway, I should not really be talking about other people's relationships, I just got annoyed....

beating and cheating aren't only reasons for people to split up... maybe they were just not for each other... and who knows, she may be getting over it easier then him... women are stronger then men, even tho the stereotype says otherwise...

There is no such stereotype.

Yeah but then why did they marry at all?.
They knew each other for years.
Ah, of course, i am not them, and there were probably things they did not tell me.
But this attitude annoys me.

women are stronger then men, even tho the stereotype says otherwise...

There is no such stereotype.

HHHmmm, I am not really talking about male female roles here, more cultural, if you know what I mean?.
But I do agree with you both, for certain things women do seem to be stronger.
If it was up to a man to push an apple out of his penis, the human race would be over.

There is no such stereotype.

that a man should take care of a woman because she's weak and delicate...? ;)

there were probably things they did not tell me.

there you go... :)

A bollox, I don't think divorce should be so easy.

Know what I mean?.

Know what I mean?.

a divorce shouldn't be and isn't easy, but it's better then to stay together and start hating each other... everybody deserves a chance to start over and be happy...

yeah okay... But what about commitment? through thick and thin? having each other's back? sickness and in health till death do us?.
( I always thought it was funny the "TILL DEATH DO US PART" clause ;)
