Life / Retire in Poland - Good or Bad Idea? [74]

You sound like the sort of typical British whinger who can't appreciate the good things about the UK,so you go overseas and continue whinging because you can't appreciate any good things in your new country.

Really? i have never heard a whining brit up till now.

The price has to go to the following nationalities:

-Americans
-Spanish
-Italians
-Polish
-Greeks
-Russians

Life / Scammed in Poland again [49]

It is a pity because it messes it up for people who are genuinely in trouble.

Now people in problem does not do this, they always go to the police or embassy. I would say mostly these people are just scammers.

There are a few lads around juwenalia (students week) in Krakow, who have signs asking for money for beer.
Actually a lot of tourists I have met admire their honesty

Indeed! at least you know what they are up to. And let's be honest it's funny too..

Life / Scammed in Poland again [49]

It reminds me of when I lived in Amsterdam, there was an English fella, who had a suitcase in one hand and an old ticket in the other.
His story was that he got mugged and was too late for his train and needed just enough money to get a new ticket and he would of course send the money back to you.
Yeah, I saw that guy there everyday.

Whahaha i have met one other German guy, with the same story. Ilarious, but i didnt fall for it.

The best one was last week, in the other side of the street from my place, there was a group of british kids, with a paper card board stating: "We have been mugged, please help us get back home to the UK"

2 days later they were there again, with another paper card board saying: "we have not had beer for 2 days, please help us!

I had to laugh real hard!!

Life / DO ADULT CHILDREN EXPLOIT THEIR PARENTS IN POLAND? [22]

Which are, I guess obligatory

It is rather tricky. If the company you work for, offers pension funds to one person in the company, then they are oblied to offer it to the whole crew of employees. In case that your company does not have a pension-funds, you must arrange that yourself and pay it to a private pension-company, which are expensive.

News / The Poles working abroad are raking it in [35]

One of the things I don't enjoy about driving is macho dickheads who try to make up for their under-sized penises by driving with insane amounts of agression

That's WroclawBoy for sure, those esteroids are really messing up his little brain. He is probably already impotent from all that sh*t he injects up his escrotum... :S

And he feels proud of his great deeds! someday you will kill someone and end up in jail, being ass-raped as i know you secretly enjoy.

Let the esteroids dude, they are destroying your already nut-size dead brain..

News / Death Sentence in Poland, when was it abolished? Last executed? [26]

we are all capable of adapting, but adapting is not the same as liking it. There is so much that you can do when you are free, so many oportunities, chances, everything is out there. But there is so little in prison. It would be hell to me personally..

Life / DO ADULT CHILDREN EXPLOIT THEIR PARENTS IN POLAND? [22]

I do applaud the tightness of the family unit here but it's not as big a chasm as you think from some other countries of the West.

It does not depend on the country, it depends on the people itself. In my family we visited our grandma-grandpa every 2 weeks, all of us. And my parents i now meet them every 2 -3 weeks (they live an hour away) and i will be there till the end of their days, i help them when i can and i cannot imagine leaving them behind in an elderly home and forget completely about them.

It's not about countries, it is about individuals.

Love / He keeps adding females friends to his profile .... [41]

Now, it would not be an issue if he wasn't only adding female friends. It is indeed a bit flirty let's call it that way.

If you think this kind of behavoiur is not acceptable in a relationship, then you should end it. Do not change or lower your norms and values for none. Find someone who thinks and feels like you, otherwise as they said it already, this is gonna end up in drama.

News / Death Sentence in Poland, when was it abolished? Last executed? [26]

you wouldnt say so if it were you on death row in a Polish jail because the prosecutor thought you were "guilty enough" and hanging you helps him get career points. happens often enough, especially in corrupt places.

Totally agree, but errors happen also in so-called civilized countries. Not a week ago, was in the news that an american guy was found innocent, after being already killed years ago.\

So death penalty? big no no!

News / What needs to happen in the world so that Poland and Russia form alliance? [297]

A Dutch-Russian alliance isn't looking too good at the moment ;) ;)

Not really, maybe when the cows come home. Or my ass turns green

Back to the thread, there would be an uproar in Poland at the prospect of an alliance. Let the people be friendly but the govts play out their dreary tit-for-tat nonsense.

Govts are the cancer of any good-willing potential alliance.

UK, Ireland / Exploiting Polish Workers by the UK businesses [90]

If they choose to go to another country and they are not liked then so what, thats they're problem and they only have themselves to blame so instead of jumping ship they should have stuck it out, worked hard and solved the problems that they're country had.

It seems that you dont even care for your own kind. You only care for yourself, f*ck the rest, believe me that is not a possitive thing to do.

By the way im intrigued, how much millions inmigrants you have in the UK, and not wikipedia numbers, they are not 100% reliable. Im kind of intrigued, for what i read here seems like there are 20 millions or so.

Life / Most overpriced things in Poland? [72]

if you had a daughter would you find it funny if she sold her body despite not being in extreme need?

If she is happy with the job, and she jokes about it, i would laugh together with her.

But consider this conversation over you really are making a storm of a glass of water.

good day!
