Genealogy / LIST OF POLISH FIRST NAMES [10]

Very nice find, I was discussing this with my wife not too long ago. We have a name for a girl "Maria" aka "Marysia" but are stumped for a boys name.

USA, Canada / Thinking about moving to Canada [12]

You can easily start as a security guard in Canada. I tried it for a few weeks with no experience when I was in between jobs. I took a course that lasted 8 hours, and I was hired right away. There is opportunity to grow in a security company if you are ambitious and volunteer for everything. Many of the security guards in Canada do not speak English as their first language. Just an observation I've made, so don't worry about any language barriers.

USA, Canada / TORONTO OR MONTRÉAL (for a Polish person to live?) [35]

I have lived in Toronto the last 25 years and there is a HUGE Polish community in the GTA with Polish restaurants, churches, stores, schools, night clubs, and so on and so forth. I like Montreal, but only to visit over a long weekend for fun.

News / POLISH POLICE PRAY FOR ROAD SAFETY.... [23]

Having visited Poland on many occasions since I left 25 years ago, I have to say that Polish people are some of the most aggressive drivers I've come across. I always pray before I drive in Poland. I can't believe at some of the risks people take on the roads, even in terrible weather as I experienced this past Christmas while visiting family.
