Love / How can a black man get a Polish women [248]

Not as long as they stay out of my neighborhood.

Okey, I accept your opinion. But then your only problem will be that you can't do anything about it. You can move to another place of course, but then you're turning yourself into a victim.

Love / How can a black man get a Polish women [248]

Multiculturalism is this peculiar phenomenon that occurs in white countries. For some funny reason whites have to let non-whites breed in their countries in order to be "progressive" and "tolerant". Africa will always be mostly African, Asia, and the rest of the world the same. But not Europe.

So tell me, who is stopping us white people from going to other parts of the world and "breed" (as you call it)?

If you are more attracted to white women it's fine, I am also more attracted to white woman. But if others of our race are more attracted to black/asian et cetera it's not your (or my) problem.

And to other people in the thread:

Of course it's not racism to say that one is more attracted to, for example, white people. Different people are attracted to different kind of people.

Life / Controversy about funshops with recreational drugs in Poland [50]

the gov should only worry about this if they are actually harmful to people.

Some psychoactive drugs are considered to be pretty harmless. For example smoking weed is not very harmful from a medical point of view. Except for increased risk of lung cancer if smoked for a long time. Some acute psychoses have also been reported.

But in the toxicology and emergency medicine journals there are many cases described where legal recreational drugs caused life-threatening kidney failure, CNS-depression, respiratory failure etc. Several deaths have also occurred. Another problem is that they sometimes contain contaminants, due to poor conditions when produced.

Of course traditional drugs used in the health care can cause side effects. But these substances are tested much more. And the doctor considers pros and cons before prescribing them to you.

Life / Polish Hooligans [41]

Many of these blockheads are both football hooligans and neo-nazis. These groups are pretty famous (or let's say infamous) in Poland.

Life / Controversy about funshops with recreational drugs in Poland [50]

You don't know exactly what's in these pills and extracts. Many of them are produced under poor conditions, and may contain contaminants. And even if you would know exactly what it contains, little is known about what many of these substances do to your body.

For example benzylpiperazine can cause side effects including dilated pupils, blurred vision, dryness of the mouth, extreme alertness, pruritus, confusion, agitation, tremor, extrapyramidal symptoms (dystonia, akathisia), headache, dizziness, anxiety, insomnia, vomiting, chest pain, hallucinations, paresthesia, tachycardia, hypertension, palpitations, collapse, hyperventilation, sweating, hyperthermia, and problems with urine retention.[21][23][24][25] The more severe toxic effects include psychosis or adverse psychiatric events,[26][27] renal toxicity,[13] respiratory failure,[23] and seizure.[21][24]

Nicholson T (2006). "Prevalence of use, epidemiology and toxicity of 'herbal party pills' among those presenting to the emergency department". Emergency medicine Australasia : EMA 18 (2): 180–4. doi:10.1111/j.1742-6723.2006.00826.x. PMID 16669944.

USA, Canada / american girl and a polish boy, how to stay in Poland legally? [14]

why can't she leave and then apply in the correct manner from outside of Poland?

I wonder that too?

So if she leaves, will she be let back in the country?

If the authorities don't know she is staying without proper papers. She should leave Poland and get the proper papers, then she can go back to Poland.

They both want to leave Poland and make a life in another country and get married

If you get married to a Polish man I guess you have the right to stay in Poland forever if you want to.
But you should only get married if you really love him, and wants to be with him for the rest of your life.

For example benzylpiperazine is illegal in United States, Australia, New Zealand and in parts of Europe.

Many of these compound can have a wide spectra of toxic effects, e.g. causing seizures, renal failure etc. Acute psychosis has been reported for many of them.

Love / Discussion about Polish Men's Tempers [103]

My husband has a very bad temper. It has been getting better over time where he has learned not to vent his anger and frustration out at me but in the beginning it was terrible!

Do people want their children to grow up with this kind of father?
Children often get the same kind of behavior as their father had when they grew up, that's scientifically proven.

If someone is behaving terrible in the beginning of a relationship it surprises me that the other person doesn't leave. It surprises me even more that someone marry such a person. There is a pressure in Poland to get married if you get pregnant. And there is often also a pressure to not get divorced. But people can't let that destroy both their and their children's future. What is most important?

Love / What is the best car to impress a Polish girl? [60]

Save your money, your passport will suffice.

Maybe 15 years ago.

The one without the horse pulling it.

I think that actually could be kind of impressive.

OK. More silicone, here it comes!

Why do girls think silicon boobs impress boys? It's not a surprise that most boys like boobs, we do. :) But I guess it's difficult to make silicon look good. Natural is the best (usually).

Language / Do Polish Movies Help learn the language? [60]

Even listening to Polish music can be useful, both to hear how words are pronounced and to learn new expressions. You can do it whenever you want, in the car, when you are at the gym etc. In this way it's better than movies. But maybe Polish Rap is not the best thing to start with.

Love / Polish girls' obsession with marriage [124]

Text...

I agree, it's obvious that our instincts have been formed by evolution to promote survival of mankind. But it's also obvious that we today are less dependent on our instincts to survive (than, let's say, 10 000 years ago).

Today most people have strong bonds to the social environment they live in. I'm not going to start discussing sociological theories. But these social bonds definitely inhibit some of our biological instincts (please note that I wrote inhibit not erase or extinguish). This is a kind of social evolution, because the bonds to our social environment inhibits our instincts when they are bad for us. I think that this can be viewed as survival of fittest, but most fit for the social environment not for the biological environment.

We can also see that people from different cultures are looking for different kind of persons to date, have a nice time in bed (or wherever they think sex is most exciting) with. This differences can't be due to evolutionary mechanisms, because these cultures have existed too short period of time.

I had not heard about Eskimo hospitality, but I read a little now. And it's obvious that it's a behavior that promotes biological evolution (you have a good point here).

Maybe we can agree that both evolutionary and social factors play a great role in choosing partner.

And I will enjoy sex without lying there thinking of Darwin's natural selection. Even though the theory is interesting.

Love / Chatting up Polish girls in the street. [60]

They dislike uncomfortable situations.

Doesn't everyone dislike uncomfortable situations?
I understand what you mean. But what's uncomfortable is very subjective.

Love / Polish girls' obsession with marriage [124]

I don't agree completely. I will tell you why.

Yes, we are animals. Our biological instincts help us to make good choices from an evolutionary point of view. But the modern human makes a lot of choices that do not promote evolution. So evidently there must be more involved than just biological instincts. I would say that this is thinking and feeling in a much more complex way than other animals.

As far as I know we are the only animals that can do so complex thinking and feeling that it wins over the biological instincts. So I don't agree with you when you say that "it doesn't involve thinking".

Love / Polish girls' obsession with marriage [124]

Aha sorry, I didn't read what you wrote carefully enough. Mankind should thank people who are enlarging the gene pools.. hehe. :)

And I think people often are attracted to what they are not used to. I guess they think more about that than the gene pool. ;)

Love / Pick up lines - the Polish style [110]

- What do you want for breakfast?

If a classic pick-up line works, I think that the girl was very interested in you already before you launched the pick-up line.

Where in Poland you come from also matters. People in the southern part usually have darker skin color than people from north.

Life / Price of beer in Poland [90]

What is the local beer like in comparison to import ?

I would say that Polish beer is one of the best (only Czech I liked more). Żywiec is one of the most popular and the one I like the most.

Love / Just met the man of my dreams. I'm an American girl, he's Polish. [49]

this is correct thinking of the commune where all participate equal and recieve according to need - we paracticce prinicple which is simplicity: no work, no bowl of rice

In Sweden it's not associated with communism. It's just that people want to help each other to make every day life as good as possible.

Or is there another meaning?

Love / Is sex with Polish guys different to sex with English guys? [173]

Apart from my friends ex husband (Greek) constantly asking her for anal sex, I dont think there was a difference.

I think that the conclusion of this thread is that it depends more on personal preferences than nationality. At least I hope so. I think it'd sound boring if someone said that all Swedes are the same in bed. Probably we all need to have our personal specialties. ;)

Love / Just met the man of my dreams. I'm an American girl, he's Polish. [49]

No my Scandinavian friend, that's Polish mentality, he wont give her a chance, wont get close enough to get atatched, he's thinking about his future, thats smart, not eating out or take out the rest of his life. i'm guessing ur Swedish by ur login name, u do have very beautifull girls in Sweden, never been there, but have been to Denmark and Finland. From what i've noticed alot of them are feminists, so i'm sure those dont cook.

Yes, I'm Swedish but live in Poland. I know that the women usually does cooking etc. in Poland. In Sweden men and women do about equal amounts (50%/50%) of cooking/cleaning/washing. Probably the women does a little bit more of this than the man (in most families).

I think most Scandinavian girls think like this: If both the woman and man work full time at their jobs, why should the woman do all the routine work at home?
