Hitler gave Poland better proposal than just peace and symphaty.

Germany would establish a protectorate over the Baltic States (which at that time were still independent), Soviet Belorussia, Soviet Ukraine east of the Dniepr river, the Kuban region, and the Caucasus region. Poland would annex Soviet Ukraine up to the Dniepr river.

It was rejected. It is historical fact.

I want to say that you can try to build different aliances to be the biggest power in europe but sooner or later other european powers are going to make aliance to beat you (in some way) ... even your proposals for some of them seem to be good if not perfect ... it is old tradtion.

That isn't the point Lukasz...it isn't about who presents the best What-If scenario!

You present-if scenario was worst than real proposal made by Hitler for Poland... that is the point and this better proposal was rejected.

Hitler had no beef with GB and even harbored sympathy...if it were for him there wouldn't had been any conflict with GB.

You know Germany in 1939 had such ideology ... but there is also european tradition.
In europe there is tradtion "beat the king" so when one of european powers is stronger and stronger others make aliance to beat "the king". For example in far east there is tradition of cooperating with "the king"...

but now we are in europe and Germany with whole contnental europe in hands wasn't in British business. (avoiding whole ideology of Nazi Germany).

In my opinion Hitler proposal I've presented was much better than this one presented by you. Western Ukraine and help in war against Soviets was much better than just peace and symphaty... Still this better than yours Hitlers proposal was rejected for many different reasons.

In Frist World War majority of Poles were fighting on Central Powers side agains Russia ... when Russia was beaten Poles changed the side (on French) or stoped fighting.

He was succesful, Poland regained independence.

Hungarians are not Slavs but Poles and Hungarians supported each other in different times.

In middle ages Polish - Hungarian aliance was very useful. Hungarians supported us durring wars against Teutons.

In Austro - Hungarian empire ... Hungarians supported Poles and Poles supported Hungarians (to get more power form Austrians)... That is why it started to be called Austro-Hungarian empire (decades after partitions... ealier it was just Austria) and that is why Poles had the best situation from diiferent parts of Poland.

It was much harder for Poles in Russian or German occupied terytories...

Durrring WWII we were in different aliances but Hungaians were helping for Poles.

Durring communism Hungarians were cooperating with Poles.

Poles and Hungarians had similar interets in different times ... and some positive traditions.

Pointing on the fate of Kalingrad as an example of "Russian barbarism" you hypocriticaly omit the circumstances which leaded to this devastation. It was a war. You should blame americans and brits for atrocious bombing of Leipzig, that was an act of real barbarism, meanwhile fight for King's mount was a honest battle. And the next! Why nobody want to remember about ruines of Russian cities?

You must understand that Russian life isn't worth so much as German. You have less feelings, you are human on lower level. Poles are a little bit higher in somes people minds but still it is not top nation in this people clasifications.

Generaly your lifes seems to be worth more than lets say African lifes but ... as I've said ... Russian cities are rather considered to be like African cities ... than German when we read some historicans books...

BB you should visit Silesia and try their dishes. Very tasty, what is more you can try many dishes typical for eatern Poland all in all smashing majority of Silesian citizens have roots in Wilno and Lwów (thiey were expeled form there after WWII)

President Lech Kaczynski, a conservative often at odds with the pro-business government, vetoed the reform on Monday saying it was unfair and failed to heed labour unions' criticism.

The law will reduce the number of workers eligible for early retirement to around 240,000 from 1.2 million and will lead to significant savings for the state budget as Poland's economy

I'd say 25 - 30 years.

It was written and directed by Suzie Templeton, made in Se-ma-for Studios in £ódź, and has been shown both in cinemas and with live musical accompaniment.

Peter and The Wolf was a multinational production. The main producers were UK production company Breakthru Films, and the co-producers were Se-ma-for Studios in £ódź, Poland and Storm Studio, based in Oslo, Norway. Additionally TV UNAM (XHUNAM-TV Mexico) and ArchAngel SA (Czech Republic) participated in it's production[1].All of the puppet animation was completed in £ódź with a mainly Polish crew. Polish programmers have won the first place in the World Finals of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest which had place in Tokyo, Japan in March 12 - 16, 2007. The most talented students from the world's finest universities were competing in the annual contest supported by ACM and IBM.

In 2003 Warsaw University won the university team title in the ACM-ICPC in Texas and in 2004 the same university won bronze medal. In 2006 in ACM - ICPC Jagiellonian University took second place winning gold medal and on seventh place Warsaw University took silver medal.

In the Europe Championship in Team Programming 2005 polish students won first four places leaving behind 52 teams. Teams from Warsaw University took first two places, third took Jagiellonian University team and forth for the team from University of Wroclaw.

In the same year 2005 Poland took first place in Top Coder contest. The most prestigious programming company which holds the worldwide online contest for the best programmers and schools announced Poland as an "undeniable leader who left behind USA and other cyber powers".

The first place in Google Code Jam 2005 took polish student at Warsaw University and again polish student won first place in Code Jam Europe 2006.Google Cod Jam is another annual online coding competition consisting of a series of problem-solving challenges that invite participants to select a programming language and use their programming skills to code solutions to the problems.
