I'm a little concerned about some negative comments I get from people back home (UK) about Polish girls, or having a Polish girlfriend.

It seems that Polish girls abroad have a "bad name" when it comes to being faithful, trustworthy, and "uneasy".

Probably this is all the result of nonsense stories from travellers etc... and I can imagine Polish girls would put it down to UK uglys' being jealous hehe

Did you guys experienced the same unfortunate Polish girls bashing? Can you help to prove this garbage wrong?

You're getting some negative comments because your original post implies that you are British. English can be a strange language.

The negative comments and toned down reactions are about having a Polish girlfriend. Which unfortunately is because young Polish girls abroad have a bad reputation.

It seems many people know of some stories ... , and e.g. English girls are the most judgemental about this matter.

I wander if that is to do with East European girls' infatuation with foreign men in the transition from communism.

in your opinion, why it's mostly English girls and not English men?
After all, it's not the English girls who sleep with the Polish girls, so how would they know?

Well, I guess it's about girls being _bitchy about others girls in general. But the bad reputation was about Polish girls being an easy catch, or going out with more then one guy at the same time.

I remember a lot of British ex work colleagues and friends who had a Polish girlfriend in the UK.

Many of the did not have a girlfriend in a very long time, and having a relationship of course made them happy. It seems like Polish girls could seem in them qualities other girls could cold not see.

The PF is full of thread about every aspect of Polish girls - no need to start another!

I am a new member. If you have done and seen it all, should't you perhaps take up a new hobby? ;)

I realise that I can never understand. But I have met Polish girls who are either unaware of it or unaffected by it. Of course, they live in Poland, so I guess it's different for Polish girls living abroad.

Nika is right. How can you know anything about it?

You seem to be a 'sad git 'on autopilot, looking down on Polish girls at all times. Exactly what I was talking about in my initial post.

Though I still wonder whether there is some substance to the bad reputation.

However, kissing up so much as you do is just not right. Polish girls may have changed their ways also as a result of the bad reputation. And this is not much of the case abroad.

I saw many Nigerians in Krakow with the rap look and all of that. What have they to do with rap music? Well absolutely nothing.

That said, rap music has sold out big time. It went form expressing the anger of colored people stuck in, say, NY gettos, to the totally nonsense gold chains, big cars, superdumb babes you see today.

How can an Afro America be proud of that I don't know.

I'm a Polish woman and my boyfriend is South Korean. I live in a small town so we get the looks but I totally don't care, my family fully accepts him :)

I travelled to Korea last year and loved the country, and have Korean friends. Prob your boyfriend is a great guy. But that is not my point.

What this makes me think is the following: where is the only place in Europe where a Korean guy can score (with a European girl)?

What I have always seeing in Poland is a reversal of fortune for guys when it comes to romance.

And this goes beyond the typical mis-match, when a very hot Polish girl walks hand in hand with a guy that not only is ugly but doesn't seems to have anything going for him

What it seems to me is that in Poland not only any guy can score, but a big disadvantage turns into an advantage. So that the the typically handsome foreign guy does not have a chance again a guy with a disability.

My top 2 are the following:

1) An Sicilian guy deaf and numb.
He could not speak but only make sounds, and of course he would fake dancing cause he could not hear much of the music. But this guy with the local girls was a success.

2) Some English guy without a leg, knee down.
Saw him a few times walking around. At first I thought he only had a limp, then I realized it was more serious that that.

Other typical successful guys are (of course) ugly guys, v.old, short, Indian, brain dead looking etc. A total reverse of fortune compared with the rest of Europe.

I would like to find out if this is only my impression, or someone else has notice this as well.

The moral of this thread is if you want to pick up a good looking Polish girl, cut your leg off and deafen yourself.

OK the ones I mentioned were extreme cases, but still true stories. And in many ways it's definitely good those guys are given a chance.

could heighten your chances with members of the female sex but only in Poland (acording to this thread) everywhere else you'd be an actual loser.

ha ha good one.

But I've actually head other foreign guys suggesting to talk simple on approach in clubs etc.
So at least pretending to be dumbo, if you cannot become one at once, can take you a long way.

how can one fake being a loser?

I'm not sure myself as it can be like to fake being a loser.
But that can be simply go down to their level, talk simple, don't bring up anything intellectual as that would definitely spoil any chances to success.

For wife I would choose polish girl because any long term attempt to handle the constant ukrainian girls unpredictable moody changes and their manipulations to gain the upper hand will lead to chronic depression where only alcohol can help.(no wonder why slavic men are such heavy drinkers).

I remember the times not long ago when the town's local loner (in Southern Europe), that dodgy virgin guy well into his 40s still living with his mum, would get married to a East European. You thought it was incredible what a little money and a dating agency can do.

Then the phonemenon extended. All those guys going dry for year back home, uneducated with nothing going for themselves, would suddenly score in Poland. It was the time anyone could do it there.

Now, I'm not saying that one should bring a girls back home as a throphy, but on the other hand neither totally swallow one's pride and principles. A local girl would be the best I think.

There are about 1.5 billion people with internet access world wide, so what are the chances of meeting someone with the same idea as yourself?.
Must be one in a million?.

This is a question that cannot be avoided. You can put it donw to how they feel about themselves, inferiority complex, etc. But in the end no doubts it has also to comes down to bad taste in men.
