There's a computer science M.Sc 5 year course at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and I suppose there are similar courses in Universities of Technology in Wrocław/Opole/Częstochowa.

I mentioned Silesia - that pinpoints the location of the Bytom I was talking about, it's a Silesian industrial city and it is uninteresting, the only interesting city in Silesia is Gliwice.. but all at all Silesian industrial region is generally dull and boring in comparison with cities like Krakow, Tri-city or Wrocław.

I live really close by to Bytom, it's a dirty polluted industrial city, it has some nice Prussian architecture here and there but it's all under a thick layer of soot... one of the worst looking city in the Silesian industrial region..

That actually happens from time to time, youngsters spring out into the life of independence just to realise that they can't cope with simple chores like washing dishes and cleaning - especially if it was their mums or sisters duty earlier. Coming back for a home dinner or to have their laundry washed. I heard about it few times.

But it's a more common thing to happen if there's a young pampered single rather than a young couple.. a couple's income or the amount of lanudry produced by 2 people is enough to buy a good washing machine.

naah.. I don't think that it's faster, but things are changing slowly those fibre optics internet providers are secluded cases in bigger cities - and even with that they are not available on every street. The most popular type of connection is a 1Mbit adsl with a crappy upload. Internet providers based on mobile phones celluar networks just started off - it's a pretty fresh technology here..

I was refering to "Hey Sokoły" not "Hej Bystra Woda", in Bystra Woda it seems it has no meaning, but maybe it has a similar meaning, in the first verse the girls is trying to get the attention of the creak, dark forest and a mountain peak trying to ask them where her beloved "Janicek" is. Later further along the song they all exchanging information ; ) so they are using Hej in the same manner. But generally from what I heard Highlander specifically use Hej in songs to add a certain melody, impact with an exclamation mark.

that changing system locale is possible with all Vista versions. And system locale is the only thing that changes nationality of the system so to speak ; )

From what I remember since XP or probably 2000 too it's possible to fully customize any OS pack into your language option.

You can configure your OS in any language you like, you just need to set the proper locale and keyboard settings.. that's just few minutes in Windows XP or Vista.. I hardly see any problem there..

Never seen anyone using them, they usually use a "bottle" or "bucket" technique. You take a plastic 2L bottle cut it in half, fill the lower half with water, you take a top half cut out from a 1,5L bottle, put a cap with little wholes on the mouthpiece, in the cap you place tobacco or whatever you want, and while kindling the tobacco or whatever you've put in there you raise the upper half. The smoke leaves between the water and the upper half and is ready to get inhaled in one thrust of the upper part... cheap and ingenious device ;)
