Love / Need help: Can't get my polish girl to say "I love you" [84]

She may feel more in love once you have the discussion about how many kids you want, where you're going to live, what religion you want your kids raised etc. etc. etc.

She may also disapear so fast. she leaves scorch marks.
Not everyone wants there life planned out for them before they have even gotten engaged.

the only way we correspond now is over international call (which is expensive and thus brief), sms and email. So she's going to read me say I love her via a rather impersonal medium compared to flesh and blood.

You dont need to tell her everytime you write.. Think Quality. Not quantity..
Save it for when you speak to her.. Personally.

The guys on here are Awesome..
Search the threads. Or Ask.
You will find plenty willing to teach you phonetically to say i love you. ( In polish )
And other cute lil sentances. Or phrases.
Dont tell her your learning it.

Wait till your saying goodnight. At the end of a call.
And say it. ( In your best polish ) :)))
Even if you think it sounds like your being sick.

It may just impress her soo much. that your trying..

Well its not a Gregorian Chant.

And unless your trying to cast a spell(Hope your not a witch doctor) Jk
I wouldn't just keep repeating it.
The words allmost loose their meaning.

Wait for the right moments.. And slip it in like a whisper..
And while your waiting for those moments..
Show her you do..
Gestures.
Learn little Sentances.. Words.. Phrases..
Try to find out the things she likes..

It took me 1 week of research.
And 4 days of aching hands.
To cut out a Wycinanki Star. With our initials on it.( And plenty of co.kups) lol

But Her Smile... Was well worth the effort..

Anyone can Buy a gift.
I believe a gift you created.. However simple.
Is worth far more...

At the moment..

Im working on a deck of cards.
Cutting out the centres.(Only half way through.)
Like a square.
And replacing the centre with Type written reasons to love her.. ( Patent Applied for )

And not ONCE. In all 52 cards.
Will the Words.. " I love you " be written.

Bit of pritt stick.. 1 pack of cards.. The internet.. And a lot of patience.
Im also lucky enough to have access to a laminator. ( So they will never wear out )

Why do it..?

So if she did say it in Polish, she meant for me not to hear it. It may have helped her, but it leaves me at square one.

You've just not been listening.. Or looking.
It's hard to hear the beating of another heart.

You use the word ( I ) Like a weapon trying to cut the words you seek from thin air.

There is no I. In We. Together. Or Us..
Try writting it again for yourself. This time change I. Into We.

The expression.. ( Unable to see the wood. through the trees.) Springs to mind.
A Kiss.
A Touch.
A Gesture.
The smile you werent expecting..

When you tell her you Love her. Dont wait for an answer..
Say it because you do. Not because you expect her to say it back.
If she Loves you. She will show you.

When she's ready. Then she will tell you.
Because she will mean it too.

A Month is such a short time..

Life / HELP WITH BUYING A COMPUTER IN POLAND [20]

Win 2000/NT,

They stopped producing Updates for Win2000 a couple of years ago.
I'd sudgest Windows Xp.
Its the most user friendly. And more compatible with Hardware and software.
And can be installed easily Over 98.
Regular updates keep the system running ok.

Then switch to Vista Later. When all the bugs have been ironed out..

You Can request when buying a New system That it Comes with Xp.
And i dont see why you cant just use the language bar to add Polish to the list of chosen languages.

Goto ( Start, Settings, Control panel. Select regional and language options.)
In Languages. Click Details. Add. And look for your Chosen Input Language
And look on the List for Polish. Add it, Select your Keyboard Language.
Apply.

And Hey Presto....... :)
It puts an Icon on the start bar.
That way you can switch between English(Or any other) And Polish.

For any of you that havent actually tried it.
It SUCKS.
After my marriage died. I stayed for 8 Years for the sake of the Children.
They suffered more than me.
The tension in a loveless house is unbearable at times.
And downright Ugly at other times.

You command no authority.
Have little or no respect.
And fewer rights than an Iraq Terrorist.

I Agree. It was a ****** thing to do.
But like everyone else in life.
She's entitled to find love. And do everything she can to be happy.

Most Polish people i know. (And YES, I do know a lot) Come here in two's Or alone.
Their family stays at home.(In Poland)

so that they can get Polish friends in as replacements (no bull). I have heard this

Maybe you should try to be more open towards them. Or a lil more welcoming.

I was going say. I was Born in Moss side. And grew up there. I lived here till i was 26.
Yes it has its dark side.
But that not a valid reason to slate the whole town.

The first time i got into trouble and got injured.
Was when i moved OUT Of Manchester.

Liverpool is a MUCH More dangerous place.
So are many other places.

You cant live in fear. Or your not really living..

If you know where the trouble spots are.
Simply avoid them.
Manchester is a great place. So is New York.
But everyone needs to be aware of the surroundings. and Be careful.
