too many"If"s Darius...deal with what's already there

I see one "if".
How many did you count? Is your perception of islam as sound as your arithmetic?

Have u never heard of the word "seduce"??

Won't muslims ever take responsibility for their own actions? Would you also enter people's houses and rob them if the door was not locked? Would you shoplift beacuse the store didn't have secdurity cameras or guards?

Does allah suggest women who are preceived as seducers could or should be raped? How do you measure seduction as the basis for rape? What makes you horny may be not enough or me and vice versa. What you consider unmodest may be modest by the standards of the majority of the human kind.

As I said before, islam was good for the 7th century desert nomad. Times have changed.

Our only sources are the quran and the authenticated way of the prophet, not what senior muslim whatever, if he follows these 2 sources then we take his words otherwise his words are useless.

So if Quran said women are meat the you would gladly accept it?

Oh, and I wonder, what sources did the as.shole in Australia used.

The lord is all merciful

I have always had a problem with this statement since I was a little kid. No matter muslim, christian or otherwise.

Merciful for what reason? For his own fvck up when he created man? Just think about it. Create a few little fellas out of polaydoo and be merciful to them, detroy them, or reward them. Even if god exists, he's either childish egomaniac, or just a sicko.

Of course, there is that "grand plan": that we, as humans, are supposedly not equipped to understand. We just have to believe and follow the "word". I wonder how many muslims would send me cash if I offered Brooklyn Bridge for sale. It is a good deal, only $10,000. Believe me! I can produce a witness or two to testify to the truth of my words (he gets a cut though) And unlike muslims in regards to allah, I'll even include a nice photo of the merchandise.

Oh, and I'm sure there are plenty of virgins on that bridge too, but the actual number will depend on the time of the day, traffic and such :)

watch this

I think non-muslim women also could ba asked how they feel.:

Muslim leader blames women for sex attacks

[...]
In the religious address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney last month, Sheik Hilali said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat? [...]

So there seem to be two categories of mea.. I mean women, in Islam: covered and uncovered.

I think ur just a waste of time, ur not a truth seeker.

So this is all the wisdom and truth the loving and merciful allah is telling you? The best you can do?

U ca not judge Islam through a single incident.

Nobody here judges islam through a single incident. This thread started before the Toronto tragedy and not because another single incident.

How many more would you like to hear about? I'm not allah so I can't see the future, but look around some news channels and websites tomorrow. And after tomorrow. And on Sunday. There will be a murder or ten comitted in the name of allah. But of course you will come back and write that these were single incidents (all of them) and the perpetrators were not "true" muslims. Those lines are already well worn out.

As I said before, quit judging people for what they see. Attack those responsible for what we see.

If that was the way we judge ppl then all germans r maniacs

Aren't they? :)

That's how it looked like Darius....by the way arab christians who do speak arabic have never used this misconception ..u know y? coz it doesn't exist.... this is y translations of the quranic verses r not called "Quran"...the verb that was used in the verse is used to express what u think u saw and not to state a scientific fact... this is it..pleased to help u understand

It's always about one little word and it's translation, isn;'t it? :)

There are piles and piles of things various people (including Muhammad) thought they experienced. So as you see, using the same argument, the revelations of the Quran seem like the truth to those who see what thye want to see. And thus, as the sun was perceived as settling in a muddy puddle of water, the Quran itself looks like quite a bit of muddy stuff.

Pleased to have clarified this.

no one ever have found an error in it

really?

And he followed a road; Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness. (Qur'an 18:85-86)

So the sun has a resting place in some muddy spring?

UK, Ireland / We welcome Polish people to Britain! [224]

i have total knowledge of them

No, you don't.
The truth is worse than you think.
Poles decided that the only way to feel safer from the Russians will be oto relocate Poland to the British Isles. The English can still rule the waves though ;)

Love / Married a Polish guy. Now what? [40]

What should I do now? I feel bad he treats me this way after I gave him everything. Is this normal behaviour for Polish guys?

You are dealing with a nut case. Sorry for being blunt but I think you should dump him as soon as you can. Screw his green card, protect yourself.

Language / ż ź dź dż sz cz ś ć - which give most problems to foreigners? [65]

some more suggestions:

Ż, RZ - simlar to g in mirage or "si" in vision
-, ZI - similar to French "j" but much softer. In some English dialect it is also similar to the following combination: 'cause you...

Ć - simlar to SPanish "ch" but softer, it's a stop
Ś - very soft sheep, similar to soft frontal ch in some German dialects of ich, it's a fricative and slightly lateral (in contrast standard German ich will require the back of the toungue against the soft palate)

D- - a stop as in John
DŻ - a stop, no similar sounds I can think of. Try to voice the Ć sound. Sometimes can be pronounced as two distinct sounds d + Ż

What would justice for her be in his native country?

Allah would judge her. And of course he is merciful.
Oh, and loving.

As for the father. He surely is loving too.

Life / Do Poles believe in supernatural stories? [14]

We were taught about supernatural stories at school whe Poand was still communist. My favorite was "Kak Lenin perehitril zhandarmov" (how Lenin tricked gendarmes).

There were more and most were unbelievably supernatural.

Today in Toronto a father was arrested for killing his daughter. In the name of the loving and merciful allah, of course. It was about hijab. She refused to wear it.

At least we can honestly say they were not "stolen from Russian" :)

Never thought about that before but indeed, most of them look like borrowings.

Language / What is the most annoying thing about non-native Polish speakers? [90]

I live in Canada....people were using words like 'crisps' for chips and 'lift' for elevator, and to tell the truth I really didn't know what the hell they were talking about

You'll get used to it and eventually you'll wonder why people pay money for flats rather than for repairing them :)

Pizda and chips.

must be "cipa" (could be phonetically spelled chipa)

My first days in the US, vistited my aunt in NJ. We went to a supermarket, and at one point I wanted to draw auntie's attention to some product so I called out: ciocia! A few heads turned in what looked like disgust. Well, they were Hispanics and in Spanish slang "chocha" is not such a nice word for vagina.

Years eariler, I liked tuning in to some short wave radio stations and to listen to broadcasts in various languages. One night I stumbled upon some language that not only did I not understand but I couldn't even tell what lingustic group it belonged too. Intrigued I kept on listening and eventually, after about 20 minutes - Eureka!!! It was Radio Tirana with their very own version of Polish language.

hmmm. wroclaw starts with W not f/v

it was mean as pronounciation, not spelling, so you're right. Spelled out it should be f/w

What makes a consonant cluster difficult other than just being in Polish anyway?

we before f/v+ consonant (we Francji, we Wroclawiu)
w elsewhere (mostly) (w Warszawie, w Szwecji, w Szczecinie)

is that what you were asking about?

I didn't mean that killing sister is a good thing

Not a good thing, huh?
You know what "not a good thing" is?
Being late for work is not a good thing. Not washing your hands before meals is not a good thing. Having one too many beers is not a good thing. Killing a person is murder.

I wanted to show that you are responsible for your self only - you are not responsible for terrorist who blowing a bomb - this is his life and his fate.

His fate? Who cares about his life and fate? What about the woman?

the system of shariat very complicated to ensure that evertyhing is fair.

I didn't realize you were a joker, or we must have fundamentally different view of what is fair.
