UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

You started now lets finish

sorry...
WHAT exactly did i start??

idealistic German

???

someone explain to me please what he wants...
what do you think why i left germany?
right... probably because i am so idealistic...

OMG!

but it's funny... go on then

you start an argument

ME?

you must be blind, mate...

Here here i was just complaining that certain individuals apparently need to change every thread into a personal affair...

and you are just now proving me right again...

without the poles you had only kids to fly your spitfires against the messerschmidts...
so please stop talking rubbish...

taken out of context. you might have read before that somebody was writing poles were not able to do anything efficient during war (more or less that was the context).

reading many books about ww2 you are probably aware that my post simply tells the facts...

Who won the battle of britian??

Great Britain? never in doubt about that...

bring it on you Nazi

running out of arguments again, little boy?
show me a single post that gives you the right to call me a nazi. kraut i can take with a certain amount of humour but nazi??? the other day i was called commy and leftie... now i have apparently covered the whole political spectrum...

great...

Kill ratio was in the UK's favour over England. Spitfires were more manovaourable than the messerschmits

what's your point? these are known facts that i never doubted and that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic.
but if you like it. my well known fact: grass is almost always green...

I whole heartedly think that you are the biggest kunt on the forum

talking to me? ;)

But you Falkster have really been met with hostiltity and abuse

???

prove it.
i am simply reactive so far, but you will surely have realised that during backtracking my posts...

Guesss you need to ask yourself the question... am I really a Kunt????

simple: i'm not...

KUNT.

kunt!

twat!

hahahaha...
yes please keep calling me names! i start enjoying that... :D
sometimes it feels good to let all inhibitions go and just leave my education behind in order to be able to communicate with the plain unable...

if you have something to say, guys, do so in a way that people can actually take you serious. you two are so funny... hilarious, really...

Poles driving thorugh Germany are regularly taunted by Germans

look...
before the poles came to the uk and ireland we had many of them in germany. the whole thing was dealt with and now it works for both sides. as it is not attractive enough to work in germany there are not so many coming anymore. the uk and ireland are at the moment far more inviting...

simply deal with it, be patient and that's it.
calling people names is most certainly not the right way to support your point...
neither does blaming the poles (or other foreigners) for everything...

simple, isn't it? ;)

Not the message at all, just complaing about the Poles complaing.

what is the tiltle of this thread? WHO is complaining???

I was in Berlin four months ago and saw nothing but Germans.

tourist, right?
sorry, mate but i lived in Berlin for 35 years. belive me once you leave the tourist spots you'll see more than just germans.

what is true though is that foreigners in berlin are not so outstanding as we make it easier for them to integrate... ;)

Fuk me im bored with responding to this.

well... then just don't...

common sense prevailing in the end

i hope so...

nor do i have a problem with your name.
I would just like an explanation to your reply so i can respond

that's why you address me as KRAUT??? okay, i understand this. big posters in this thread have apparently a problem with a reasonable grown up discussion as ShelleyS already proved.

in addition to my answer above. "patriotic rights to do whatever they want to do in their own countries" is just a little backwards as a statement.

we are living in the 21st century and UK is part of the EU and benefits from that fact as well. people have to understand that and not only point out the negative things that happen...

would british people really prefer to live on their own on their island without any connection to the EU?

patriotism in connection with aggression is extremely dangerous (as KRAUT i know what i am talking about) and a thing of the past where it should stay, please.

no problem with pride on your heritage but the "my-nationality-is-better-than-yours" mentality in this forum is really so wrong.

i would expect that when people register in a forum that includes certain nationalities, they show a certain open mind. unfortunately that does not happen and like little children they argue about who has the biggest willy...

pitty, as it doesn't solve any problems...

oh...
i see you are not very good in admitting a mistake but expect everyone else to simply take everything for granted you say?

look you wrongly accused me of doing something i did not do!
apologising for that is the least you could do...

manners? apparently not...

neither does violence, but you seem to revel in the fact that you used to go out kicking tish out of drunkards in Poland

show some manners please...
here is the post you are referring to. definitely not me, right...
https://polishforums.com/archives/2005-2009/uk-ireland/drunken-poles-streets-london-16655/#msg308825

therefore have the patriotic right to do what ever the hell they want in their own country

LOL!
you are kidding, aren't you?
how 19th century is that point of view, please?

but it's not entirely correct ot say 'most do'

100% of the poles i know live in perfectly normal conditions.

but certainly i understand the idea of sharing houses to save money. do not students in the UK do pretty much the same?? ;)

there you must have mixed me up with someone else posting in this thread! read carefully before blaming me for things i never did and certainly would never do... apology expected!

People from A8 countries can claim their tax back when they leave the UK...

and as i mentioned above they still have to pay their taxes in their home countries. this is most certainly not going to stay like this forever and is down to bureaucracy, ie immigrants CAN'T be blamed for that! is it really that difficult to understand??
the_falkster

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

not that poles need an education as you dont need a degree to clean toilets

how god damn stupid is this person actually??
seems as if you got your education on dirty toilets...

by the way. did you now that poles when they go back home have to pay taxes for all the years they worked in a different country?

it's not them who can be blamed but the governments of both states who need to sort that out. at the end you should pay your tax where you earn...

but as i said. it is NOT the immigrants who are to be blamed.
even foul language doesn't change that...

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

how about Bob?

definitely prefer bob to commy and lefty... ;)

unfortunately we loose languages we learnt quickly as kids once we grow up without practising them... you will see though that when you travel to spain (or southamerica) you will pick up the language within a few days...

on the topic.
sure parents have the biggest responsibility in educating their children.
and children should be helped by for example speaking the hosts language at home instead your mothertongue...
but i do certainly not believe in extra payment to take extra classes. because that is what we as foreigners pay taxes for. some arguments on here do not count.

if it is that taxes paid should NOT be used to accomodate foreign childrens needs at school, can i as a foreigner than pay less tax as my money is only to be used to educate natives???

some people have to understand that today we can not only think local anymore...

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

fact is, and i AM living in the uk, that the problem are not immigrant's children but the government.

if a government (anywhere on this planet) decides to let foreigners live, work and pay taxes in their country they have to take measures to accomodate all aspects of the story. FULL STOP!

blaming immigrants and their children is simply a sign of desperation and low level of education (which unfortunately doesn't enable people to see the bigger picture).

If you take your kids to a forgiegn country where they dont understand the language, your a pretty crappy parent

rubbish.
do you have kids yourself?
then you would know that the mechanisms in childrens brains work slightly different...

...sit back and let the state take responsobility for their kids,we dont need anymore.

when i read the newspapers it appears that this is a problem with many parents especially in the uk, as well as in many other countries where both parents are forced to work full time to make a living...

much too often over here i read about teachers being blamed for lack of care and educating the kids... well... those are still parents' tasks, not teachers'...

(looking forward to see what you call me this time)

USA, Canada / USA, the nation of immigrants [30]

Dice
that is so not true...
have you actually ever lived in germany? i guess not.

like everywhere it makes a difference with what kind of people you mix. the higher educated ones will surely not keep seeing you as "that polish guy" or even if, they will not judge for being polish (or any other nationality)...

with the less educated ones it is different almost anywhere on this planet (incl. USA i guess)...

Life / Pensions for immigrants [11]

it is highly unlikely that anything will be paid before the woman reaches retirement age...
£80 sounds quite high after only 5 years work and i am also unsure if they pay when you are not living here anymore.

well... they would be kind of stupid if they would pay for other countries pensioners.

imagine the following scenario:
if the above works then any (eu)-state with too many people close to retirement and low living standards would send all their 60 year old people to the uk to be able to claim pensions???

how cool would that be?

this goverment wastes money on translations every day

that's truly european way of thinking...
oh i forgot...
EVERYbody on this planet should be able to speak english, right?

I dont want a country full of immigrants - Im ENGLISH and my coutry is ENGLAND....the same as I would immigine Poland would not want a future country that was no longer Polish

erm... you seem not very confident about everything "english"... do you see this country and its (truly great!) heritage not strong enough to cope with different cultures??

england will always be england in the same way as poland will always be poland.
don't panic...

you guys moan because the avarge Brit knows nothing about Polands empire then claim to be experts on our old empire........when all you do is spout old left crap

actually i do not moan about anything.
it is almost always the brits on here who moan about how their society gets taken over by foreigners...
by the way i grew up in germany. nothing commy or left there so please stop taking in assumptions and start saying something productive for the discussion...

rehashing old lefty crap over and over and over

i said something ONCE. and that was not even lefty whatever...
but it is nice to see on what well educated level some people are writing...

NO Polish kids arnt ruining British kids education. The system of education is ruining it all ready

finally something i can agree with...

Being part of the EU means free movement of labour. Yes, we have been affected quite a bit here in the UK I know but you also have to remember a lot of immigrants do work in jobs which many UK people do not want to do......also many are skilled as well and this country would struggle to maintain a lot of its basic services if we had a 'closed doors' policy. The Uk also, has a large ageing population which is growing considerably and therein lies some major issues for the future. Far better to educate well the younger generation (whether immigrant children or not) so that this Country can continue to prosper.

so well siad. in germany we have been going through this process some years ago and guess what, all you doubters, our country still exists...

if you come to this country then you should be able to fit in...simple

on a slightly lighter note: have you ever seen brit people traveling?

English people for centuries have done the ****** jobs...we managed okay!

well... quite obviously not...

Quoting: ShelleyS
.and I dont agree with them getting extra help either, if you come to this country then you should be able to fit in...simple

how can you fit in without knowing the language?

very good point actually...

But, I stand by my point, backed up by other posters since, you have a very simplified "understanding" of the old Empire...all those millions you listed went out to build new countries

hahaha...

so britain sent the salvation army???
they put existing countries into their empire only because british people are "so nice" to build new countries on places where there are already countries (not to mention the people living in them)??

don't you think there was for example a massive interest in getting these countries ressources to britains benefit???

how shortsighted and ignorant is that view, please?

UK, Ireland / If I was to move to Poland from Ireland... [92]

Personally, I prefer the latter

can understand that so well...

i did move almost 4 years ago from Berlin, Germany to Leeds, England. since then i tried to avoid germans. not that i don't like them but it is easier to dive into life in England that way.

you have to know though that i was already speaking some english before i cam here.
like zeze i have not been to england before i applied for a job but i believe with a certain open mind you can make it almost anywhere...

my girlfriend is from sczcecin and we consider moving back to either her or my home town within the next 5 years (only if my company allows me to set up a branch there) and then have to decide if it is going to be Berlin or Szczecin. the distance is short and i am slightly inclined to maybe take the challenge...

Law / Debts & Death in Poland - who is responsible? [8]

...The debts die with the person

so if your parents own a house worth £200k but are in debt by £250 you do not have access to any of it...
but who is paying actually the remaining £50k?? the taxpayer i guess? or is that just lost money for the organisation that lend the money in the first place??

Who's paying for it? And why on earth should we have to?

it is called solidarity....
this is how democracy works.

opening up the doors to any Tom, Dick and Harry with no restrictions and expecting English people to suffer....

i remember there was a time when the empire had colonies all over the planet. where they invited? what was the gain?
i recommend thinking first before talking...

Law / Debts & Death in Poland - who is responsible? [8]

it certainly is like that in germany and i can't imagine it being any different in any of the eu countries.

but you always have the chance to decline the heritage. in that case it is the tax payer who pays your parents debts...

UK, Ireland / If I was to move to Poland from Ireland... [92]

...and could live more cheaply in Poland. Thanks for the advice though.

you probably could.

have you ever been to poland? do you speak the language? do you know their customs and traditions? etc etc etc...
there are a lot of questions to be considered before anyone can give you proper advice...

nobody knows your current lifestyle. moving to a different country is always a big step and you should first start gathering information about your potential new home.

good luck though...
