Law / What do Poles think of Chinese products? [49]

And you use a hotmail msn account? Hmm

What's wrong with that? Some Polish companies use Gadu-Gadu to contact with customers... it's especially often seen on Allegro where they sell their goods. btw, I have nothing to do with them, but in this case at least they have web site beyondtel.com

Law / What do Poles think of Chinese products? [49]

Think they are not in good quality. Is it really?

The thing is there is thousands of products manufactured in China all over the world... I think that most things that typical European/American own were made in China. So... when even a few things are low quality and someone see that they were made in China she/he thinks that your products are not worth spending money on. So the real problem is quantity of Chinese products ... they're just everywhere. My 0,03$....

News / Some Poles burning American flag [299]

all I can say I see Polish flags around

Well, maybe in (small) towns or in countryside it is more popular to hanging out flags. There is nothing wrong with it, but it isn't popular in cities.

News / Some Poles burning American flag [299]

not quite. Look at Polish people. Majority of them hang out national flags whenever they can.

No, it isn't true... a few weeks ago (or sth like this) we had the Flag day and I've seen just a few flags... Most of Polish people don't care about things like that.

News / Some Poles burning American flag [299]

you might be right about that, I'm not sure, was too short

Not good, now some Americans because of that news can think that burning USA flag is normal thing in Poland :P Anybody should know that we don't burn any flags, even Russian or Iraqi ones.

News / EU or America - which country is better to work now? [56]

I'ts really easy to start up a business here in the US....especially an IT solutions consulting business. Is there really all of this opportunity in the UK?

I don't know how about UK, but it's quite easy to start IT business even in Poland. You just need a good idea, because there are so many IT companies that it's really hard find something new, something that people will buy or use and you make money on it...

Many companies from EU move to Poland their factiories, offices, because it's cheaper to run business here than for example in France. It's not so bad, but always it could be better (lower taxes and such things).

News / EU or America - which country is better to work now? [56]

I believe that well-educated Polish people can do very well in the States.

You're right... but there are fields where some of well-educated Polish people prefer to stay in Poland. For example someone which CCIE cert + experience (IT) can earn in USA 100-120k $ / yr. The same guy in Poland will earn 'only' 60k $, but costs of living in Poland are still lower than in USA, so all in all there are people who decide to stay here.

News / EU or America - which country is better to work now? [56]

Is the United States considered a good place to work, now that Poland is in the EU?

No... most of young people prefer going to EU. It's much cheaper to get there and if sth go wrong you can easilly (at least in most cases) get back to Poland. You can make good money here in Europe, especially when comparing to USA while dollar is so cheap... Polish people still need visa if they want to go to USA, and if they want to work, some company from USA have to send them invitation.... there is so much paper work. All in all EU seems to be better choice for young people.

How many young Poles have seriously considered coming to the States, and staying, legally or illegally?

10 or 20 yrs ago - many, now.... I think that would be <10% of young people who want to leave Poland.

Do you know people that have come to America, and stayed to work, or start a new life?

Yes, part of my family... they moved ~15 yrs ago, they live there, some are doing just fine, some aren't....

I depends of course, but average prices per month for phone, internet and cable will be between 50 and 100 PLN each. There are also companies which provide 'all-in-one' service... like UPC / Aster - average cost 150zl for all.

Life / Polish hooliganism in sport [141]

somebody likes colect staps somebody likes going to cinema somebody likes mountian trips hools like what thay like... and if you don't know nothink about topic better don't say nothink that is my opinion

You see, it is patology that people are afraid go to football match with kids because of that assh_oles.... and sorry but in my opinion most of them are people without any future. For me it is no problem..... they can even kill themself, I don't care, but go away and leave innocent people alone.

Hooliganism is more than a sport , its a lifestyle !

I think you're under 20, am I right?

Polish hools = people which have too much time and don't know what to do with it.. mostly with low IQ.

btw, but last movies I saw about hools (not Polish ones) were quite good, I mean Hooligans (2005) or Football factory (2004).

Life / Can I transfer my current mobile number to a local Polish provider? [6]

I overheard a Scotisch girl say she kept her british mobile number and transferred it to a polish provider.

I'm quite sure it is impossible yet... of course technically with some hacks, much $ to spend it can be done, but that's another thing.

Law / It's a tough job to try to sell something to Polish people... [4]

If you're a Pole, are you an impulse buyer or prefer buy cheap?

I'm not impulse buyer, but I buy online and often I prefer pay more for a good quality things. When I want to buy sth I often look for people opinions ..... next thing I do is to find a place where I can buy it at the best price :P
