News / Polish-Hungarian friendship - reality till today or just a phantasmagoria [144]

e.g. the famous 'Prague German' still heard until now amongst elderly people

Yes,because the german occupators made the old generation speak german obligatory and abolished czech language from universities and public sector.
There is also the famous ''Prague Russian''.

Study / University in Poland is too easy [68]

License is a socialist idea?

Of course

So driving license is a socialist idea? You drive me crazy.

Come to Gdansk, here nearly every student know which university in our region is considered difficult and which is considered easy

Yes,but how can one english employer far away from Gdans know which university is difficult and which is easy?Should he come to Gdansk?

In the age of information this is extremely easy to find proper knowledge

On the contrary in Europe it is quite difficult.Rely on rankings?Ha,ha.Then many german universities would be far too low and the same a lot of french universities. No,my friend, what they really apply is discrimination in favour of their citizens based on assumptions, not sth proven. The discrimination has legal form and is absolutely legal.

How about affirmation policy towards woman in Scandinavia?

I talked about minorities. You always think the worng way.Think for example that a Cameroonean should be preferred over a Pole with better qualifications in Poland because he is black. This is affirmative policy.Do you know any euro-country applying that?

Towards women it is called percentage. They say for example 40% of employees will be women.Yes,but if they apply it in both directions,I doubt if it is beneficial for women since women get better grades and enter university in bigger proportion,so with percentage applied, they will lose some positions.(it also happens in USA universities in favour of boys).

Anyway you see the US super capitalist country has positive discrimination measures and affirmative policy in favour of minorities(how do you think Obama and his wife got accepted to Harvard?) while EU which is socialist lacks affirmative policies(see Turks feked in Germany completely illiterate and out of universities).

License is a socialist idea of central control.

License is a socialist idea?

There is no reason to think that employers are ignorant people unaware of quality of various universities. This is knowledge available for every university student.

For sure?Even students do not know the quality of their university, how should the employers know what is going on in several universities? You need a central exam system to check and the US has that.

How capitalistic is affirmation policy towards black student

Why there is no affirmative policy in socialist Europe?Think about that.

Love / Are (most) Polish unmarried people virgins? [60]

that local tradition said that when a virgin left the school the plane would fly again...it stood there many years , but last time i went to the town ....the plane was gone..!

Maybe it was simply rotten.

Those virgins have lost their flowers

Bad news for virgin hunters.

Study / University in Poland is too easy [68]

Licenses are not necessary, this is not the way. Employers are not interested in such papers, they know very well about quality represented by various universities. So, what is the purpose of licenses?

Protectionism on the job market exist because socialists run this circus.

USA which is extreme capitalist country has very strict license exams. What are you talking about?
The opposite happens. The employers want a guarantee of the quality of the graduate.EU tells them, take the cheapest one,I refuse to place quality filters.

University in general in Europe sucks.Simply you can get any degree you want,it is far too easy in some european countries. There are no serious license exams.

Then the value of each degree depends on the relative strength of the country in which it was obtained and the social origin of its holder.

In my opinion there should be european license exams for every professional, but it is impossible to come to this since a lot of countries will disagree.

You also see countries like France for example,Germany or UK openly violating european laws. For example if you get license as a lawyer in an EU country, can you work as a lwayer in France? No.

Can a teacher of an EU country work in Germany? No.

like calling Turks Arabs

Turks have come from Turkmenistan.Arabs have come from Arabia,Mesopotamia. They are distinct populations. The Turks came from central Asia 1000 years ago, while the Arabs existed in Middle East at least in the last 20000 years.

The Huns were Asians

Yes,but the majority of population there was slavic, and the slavic element prevailed(of course not completely) genetically although in terms of language prevailed the magyar element.

Work / How do public servants get their position in Poland? [10]

By one theory public servants shlould become the incompetent who cannot find a position in the private sector. On the other hand in Greece for example everybody wants to become a public servant in order to be able to sit without doing anything, get bribes etc.So very competent persons compete for few positions.
