Love / how do i get rid of a girl? [90]

I've seen men drink out of their shoes

Good call - I could get a couple of pints in each of mine. Probably the best shoes in the world

News / The Impact of Poland joining the EU [64]

Which Island was that

I used to hate the Island of Sydvaranger off of Norway because I could never spell it for O level Geography. I'm also not overly keen on Tierra del Fuego

i decide the fate, not eu

As I have said many times on this Forum, then elcet a government that will take you out of the EU. If necessary srat a political party to do it yourself. Poland chose to join. By so doing you accepted the free movement of capital and labour

News / Abortion - how is the Polish government going to deal with this issue? [273]

I recall reading somwhere that they are under some old Family Planning Act law. Just looking to see if my memory is failing again.

This is the act but I'm not sure whether it's enforced.

the Family Planning, Protection of Human
Foetus and Conditions for Termination
of Pregnancy Act of 1993

Travel / Golf (courses) in Poland! [25]

I had the idea of starting a golf driving range over there to try and create more interest in the game for more people

A few people have tried it already. I remember there was an indoor range in Warsaw that lasted about 6 months. I think the game will take off more when disposable incomes increase. And correction it's always a frustrating game:)

Travel / Golf (courses) in Poland! [25]

First Warsaw Golf & Country Club was OK. Three years ago there were about 8-10 course only in Poland. It's expensive for the locals to play but that should change.

UK, Ireland / The Welsh Language [14]

Yep. On average Welsh takes up 15% extra character space. It's just screwed up a computer system design I'm working on.

News / Abortion - how is the Polish government going to deal with this issue? [273]

My father is almost 80 and he cooks and cleans by himself because my mother is no longer there. He doesn't miss her cleaning or cooking, he misses her company.

I understand miranda. It was a bit thoughtless of me to stereotype for the sake of a cheap laugh. Sorry :(

Travel / Warsaw - a good place to meet young Polish girls? [20]

Warsaw - a good place to meet young Polish girls?

Student discos. That's where most of my younger colleagues used to go. There was one called Park I think.

how about bars Bolek and Lolek

Which was the one in the park? Or was that another name that sounded similar.? Good sausages I recall. Oh and awful live bands. Apart from the night I ended up playing there when the lead guitarist fell off the stage ! That was a good music night.

Real Estate / Poland top overseas property hotspot [29]

from the Poland real estate bubble did it 10-15 ago

Actually the best time to have bought it was when the negotiations for EU membership started in earnest and that wasn't 10-15 years ago! Don't forget how difficult it was to buy in then either. You can't argue that Poland is not a good market. Every friggin survey you can google will tell you that.

UK, Ireland / Polish girls 'too pretty' for British schools [150]

they all have those "pimp" pointy toes, or worse still the point and flat end.

Yeh. I've got size 12 feet. The last thing I need is another B****y two inches on the length (of the shoes, wash your mouths out). I look like a clown already. Don't want to make it look worse.

As for fashion

As I head to the goal of total enlightenment, only one question remains to be answered... what is with Polish women and pointy shoes???

Answers on a postcard please

Life / Smingus-Dyngus - Polish tradition [155]

Why don't the girls soak the boys in water? Whatever happened to equality and all that?

I've just been attacked by a girl with a PRESSURE WASHER. That's not equality, I just used a bucket of water. Fight fair ladies:) :) :)

UK, Ireland / Polish Migrants makes room for '20 to a house [59]

It's a world wide thing for young people travelling. Why waste cash on accomodation when you can be saving it or enjoying yourself. Last I hear there were 10 people in my son's house in Canada when it's only supposed to accomodate 6.

As for the Aussies slagging. Good idea - I do it all the time at work.

Last I heard South Kensington was Australia's third largest city:)

There is no way you are British!!.......

I don't know, the spelling and grammar are awful. Could well be a product of an inner city state school. Let's give him the Citizenship test to find out!
