no electricity in the stix
coal was for heat and cooking
public transport? you mean horse and buggy? lol
paved roads? lol..
i think most urban roads were paved
cinemas and theather only in major cities (warsaw, krakow, gdansk..)
radios? some i have no idea about %s.
schools in the country and prior to ww2? hmmm not many, most people farmed.

yes, UP is kick butt. it's empty although i was surprised in August last year.. it was the bussiest i have ever seen it but that's still not as busy as one would expect busy to be. outside of the major towns/attractions there was still hardly anybody there.

shoot for the middle.. it's all pretty good but if you are looking for less crowds go in the middle. hotels.. hmm maybe a few in major towns.. otherwise a B&B, a campground or a cabin may be in order. have fun and make sure to try the smoked fish from a one of those little stands. to die for, if you like fish that is. :)

This thinking thing really is a problem for you isn't it? Hitler didn't order Warsaw to be destroyed because of the Uprising: he ordered it to be turned into a lake.

i don't think so although that is what he possibly said. germans had a whole new city planned in place of warsaw. you'd have to google around to find out what it was. i am not sure if this is common knowledge but it was in PL.. there are even books about it.

i haven't read this thread in a while and i won't right now but to the above.. why did they flatten Warsaw? clue: the uprisings had nothing to do with it.

no, i don't think it's useless. it's a definitely counterbalance to the crazyness we see right now. commies days will come again.

I never wrote anything like that, experiment with economic model failed thus all theory failed.

tht's what you wrote before and you're wrong and so is your logic.. the model failed because the steps weren't folowed.. simple logical science man..
