the beach, pier and clifftop gardens of orlowo are particularly beautiful... the forest cycle route along the coast to sopot is one of my favourite places in poland

i can think of a number of places in the tri city i wouldnt want to live in ;-)

whilst it might be none of your business telling your mate how to raise his kids that doesnt excuse the behaviour of his son, nor the fact that your mate doesnt seem able to see how badly his son is behaving...

from what youve described the son is behaving like a little sh!t... tell your mate that his son is behaving like a little sh!t and take it from there... failing that, suggest a game of football, put little sh!t in goal and blast the fuk out of him... might teach him a lesson his father seems unable to

nothing you have said in your post suggests to me that you cant be friends in the future... unless the 'couple of other things' were a little more serious than they sound...

i also get the impression that the split was a gut reaction to pressure... which is understandable but sounds maybe a little drastic as you both obviously have strong feelings for each other

whilst you may present your case well, the underlying premiss of what you are saying is wrong

its the inability of many americans to accept this that breeds the hatred and contempt so many have for your country, its people and administration

whilst america's administration might lead the way, its the blind eagerness of so many americans that follow which, perhaps unfortunately, leads to the slamming of your country you seem uncomfortable and suprised at

i have read about Esperanto at various times in the past but have always wondered really what the point is - i struggle so much learning foreign languages that it has always struck me as just 'another' language to try and get to grips with... and one that seems to be competing with english...

despite still favouring my betamax/VHS analogy your post has encouraged me to look at it again - thanks

just out of interest...

...where can you travel in the world where speaking esperanto will enable you to communicate with the locals better than speaking english will... and how much literature from many different countries is available in esperanto but not english... and what is the likelyhood of walking into a pub in some far and distant land and bumping into a person who speaks esperanto better than english...?

and do you think its fair to say that those who choose esperanto over english are comparable to those who choose betamax over vhs...?
