Language / "like" problem [29]

but I noticed that sometimes when I say: I like you (and I mean as a person) people blush..

Who are you saying it to and what nationality are they? maybe they are just shy? British people often arent as direct as Americans.. they have a tendency to not really say what they mean sometimes and guys often dont like talking about feelings...although not everyone obviously..

Love / Matrix says that POLISH GIRLS= NOTHNIG SPECIAL [279]

But I've been to Poland and 8 out of every 10 women are good looking, in England its 2 out of every 10.

Are those official statistics?? anyway, good luck to you.. I prefer Polish guys, so I guess we are never destined to be together.

Language / "like" problem [29]

it could mean either you like him as a mate or you really like him.. as in you are attracted to him. It all depends on how you say it, with what emphasis and in what context.

You could say I really like you and would like to get to know you better... then he would probably get the message... but if you just say I like you.. he might think you mean just as friends... unless you follow this up with a huge snog (kiss) of course..

Life / What do Polish people think about Turkey? [52]

I went to Turkey with my Polish bf and he loved it.. especially the chicken shish. He especially liked driving very fast round mountain roads... to Ephesus and Pamukalle.. and the local mini buses were fantastic.

misiu means a teddy bear but I would not want to be called that...There might be a slight meaning of extra pounds there. I don't think women like this one.

Does that mean my bf is calling me fat then?

Thanks Kaka.. I am happy to hear that its warmer than normal for the time of year, although not so good for the environment clearly. Was wondering why you chose the name Kaka.. presumably you know what that means in English?... sorry, I think I must have a warped mind.

It depends on what kind of alcohol you are drinking. Try whiskey with them and the situation should be the opposite of your last experience.

My bf can drink neat whisky like its water and Ive never seen him drunk.. Him and his mates down 2-3 bottles of whisky or vodka between 2 -3 of them on an average night. I would be seriously ill if I even attempted it..and I aint saying its big or clever, they will all most likely be dead before they hit 50.

I have to go in February, cos going for my bfs birthday.. he is Polish and says it will be an expensive then and very busy time to go to Zacopane... but hey ho.. we will go anyway.. my main concern is that Im flying back from a 3 week trip to Kenya the day before.. so extreme climate change! Hes been to Zacopane before, but not for about 6 years I think..
