Love / Fallen for a Polish Guy!! But he's got back to Poland to get married! [71]

I don't even know my own intentions sometimes :)

you see :):):):)

However....in the 'vanishing act' situation, its completely pathetic that a guy can't say "hey, I like flirting with you but I don't want to be with you". When a guy vanishes, all it says to me is that he's too afraid to deal with the situation.

agreed, however its the same the other way around too:)

How pathetic does a guy have to be do suddenly vanish? Some guys just need to grow the f*ck up, act like real men and be honest about their intentions.

although in these cases i agree, have you tried being a man and trying to understand a women and her intentions and emotions, lol, its hard work sometimes :) I don't even get a wage for it, lol.

lol lol ... Justyna knows

John Terry would never spring to my mind then any English football doesnt ... !

ow ok, its a bit of inter-talk, didn't get what you meant, yeah sorry i should know not everybody likes england :)

Love / Fallen for a Polish Guy!! But he's got back to Poland to get married! [71]

Why has he left me?

Listen darling, i'm a very honest and open person, you have clearly got yourself into a mess that you need to get out of. The first part you have to realise is 'HE IS GETTING MARRIED' so thats the first reason to 'BACK OFF'. 2nd thing, he said he was thinking about you and gave you his new number, have you heard from him, probably not, will you hear from him, maybe if he comes to england for a holiday and fancies playing away from the wife.

What he told you about liking and loving you before he left, was to keep you in his pocket just in case he comes back to england one day and fancies what i just said above or his marriage goes tits up. Either way 'YOU ARE 2ND CHOICE OR SECOND BEST TO HIM' so forget him and move on or you will find yourself in a world of ****, i can assure you that you don't want that.

I wish you good luck but please please please if your ever going to take a strangers advice, take it now.

Sorry for sounding so harsh and black and white but really you need telling,

thnx

T

Life / I feel the gay rights movement is constrained Poland [90]

Right so to the subject of 'the attitude towards gays in Poland'

Something smacks me in the face as soon as i think about this situation, no its not a man's member, lol, sorry for the joke. On the seriuos side, Poland is 96% Roman Catholic, which does not 'accept' gay people into the church, now i could be wrong there but i'm sure i'm not. If i am i apologise in advance.

So going on the fact that 96% of Poland is Roman Catholic surely then Gay people will be outcast or constrained and have their human rights taken away. I'm not going to go into my own personal opinion on 'gay' or 'gay marriages' as its not relevant to this topic. However i can see why gay people may feel constrained in a country with a high percentage of 'roman catholic' population.

Somebody made the comment earlier in the topic that 'gay people make so much fuss about being different yet want to be seen as normal' they make a good point, instead of crying about this and that, lead our lives gay or not and get on with it :)

Genealogy / the name jowita...does it mean anying...? [95]

Can i just ask a question or two,

Firstly, can you be in love with somebody who you don't see or speak or spend much time with??? it just made me think, this situation that is. I mean i couldn't imagine falling in love with my sports therapist for example, i see here like once maybe twice a week, she is sexy as hell but i couldn't fall in love with her as i just don't know her well enough. :) i hope you know what i mean and i'm not trying to dig at your situation.

Secondly, how does anybody really know what love is, have you felt it before so you know what it feels like???

Love / Polish girls and this age thing? [173]

the reason some women date older men is mainly the fact that men in general mature later than their women, so it was logical to date/marry an older men.

totally agree, it does take guys longer to mature than women :)

Love / Polish girls and this age thing? [173]

hm 23 or 24 heh but his behaviour seems to be for 15 years old boy... so sometimes it's perfect to be with older man

lol, who's that, sounds a little bit like myself sometimes, i'm never going to stop being a boy, its part of my fun :)

i mean, you are older than me Karl hehe ;) Yes 5 years, 6 or 7, everything is ok,

well i think i'm 6 years older than you, funny that age comes up i've never had a serious girlfriend who is much older or younger than me, all have tended to be my age.

So you've dated older men??

Love / Polish girls and this age thing? [173]

you prefer older, i think many girls do, although i'm not sure its healthy if the girl is young herself to like older men, yes when your 19 20 its ok to want 35 year old blokes but younger, i think people should be keeping to their own age group :)

hm, i prefer older men, i think it's normal... even if he is 5 years older, it's better :) you know, this sense of safety etc hehe

five years older, lol, you've just dissapointed some of the old men on here who thought they stood a chance, lol. Although compared with you i guess i'm an old man now haha

History / Comment on YouTube regarding Powstanie Warszawskie [32]

america did not enter the war to liberate europe, they entered because germany declared war on the usa AFTER pearl harbour was bombed.

no i'll tell you why america joined the war, it was for neither of those reasons, although pearl harbour was a bit of a motivator.

If your american and you see the German war machine smashing through europe what are you thinking, hhhhhmmmm, well he German nation if spread over a far and wide area, say over the whole of western europe and going into africa and asia, will become more powerful than the USA. THey joined to stop the German's getting bigger than them. It really is that simple :)

Love / Polish girls and this age thing? [173]

Materialistic people tend to be insecure within themselves, they are attracted to security and confident people.

good point, however that dosen't make it any better, just because they feel insecure about themselves, they shouldn't suck whatever they can out of somebody else, if your a sinking ship, don't drag others down with you. Sort your own issues out first :)

That's because they spent it all on their young birds...

lol :)

UK, Ireland / Are the Poles in England hated? [450]

With all due respect to the OP, this sort of question is un asnwerable if were being honest with ourselves, there are people in the UK concerned with all sorts of things, let alone whether somebody is polish or not.

Some people are:

Concerned about Immigration: THis means that they are genuinly concerned that the countries immigration policies are wrong and need changing, this may mean that they have adverse views towards those immigrants who come to the country

Racists/Biggots: These people just don't like foreign nationals, no matter what race, religion, nation they are from. As far as they are concerned if you not british then get out.

British Identity: SOme people are really concerned that Britain will not be Britain for much longer, over many many years we have been recieving and welcoming immigrants etc to our country. Everything is changing here and some people are scared/concerned that this is detrement to the countries well being. For example we have had all sorts buildings errected that do not represent british culture, Mosks, Temples etc etc need i say anymore. You can't even buy a piggy bank anymore because it may offend a certain religion. :)

my point is that there are many more things to consider for what might be considered anti-polishness. People in the uk have many concerns/fears that they potrait in different ways depending on their individual personalities, up bringing and even the part of the UK they reside in.

What can i say, were a mixed bunch in the UK :) ON the whole though i think foreign visitors are much welcomed to the uk.
