Love / Whose Life is it? Polish girlfriend under family "house arrest" [224]

I dont care, nuns have their place, they teach in schools they are missionaries and fully trained nurses - for me as a RC I'm happy with that.

I'm really looking forward to hearing you explain how women can be completely equal in the RC church but can not be ordained in the RC church. Can you wait a moment before you answer? I want to get some popcorn so I can really enjoy the show.

Harry, it depends on what you classify as equal - they both have their roles to play, for me both are equally as important, both take vows to serve the church for their entire life this puts them on an equal footing in my eyes. Just because a priest can give the holy sacrament doesn't mean he is any better than a nun who nurses the sick and dying.

Because women are second-class humans to them.

Please correct me if I am wrong but are Jewish women not segregated from the men in the Synagog? Now correct me if I am wrong, do not women and men sit together in a RC church, doesnt seem like we are treated as second class anything.

Now I know you are going to counter with the fact Orthodox and Reform as very different, but since you are talking about the extreme cases, so shall I.

take it easy shelley, or has someone done the same to you. lol

Who the fuck are you....newbie!

She goes quiet when women issue get mentioned in catholic church :) :)

You're a bit of a dick aren't you Ontherag, I have answered all of Harrys posts...

Love / do polish girls consider a english man a good catch ? [126]

i can see shelley that u quickly turned it into race

I asked a question. I was just curious. If you had been German I would have asked why not a German, but I seeing being a black person you automatically play the "race" card! Typical really!

I would love to hear Shelleys on this subject....she's gone quiet :)

Because Ive been busy you twat!

I'm not sure how on earth religion was brought into this.

But I'll counter Harry with:

Nuns have done great things, look at Mother Teresa, Nuns are more than just Monks, Nuns have been missionaries for centuries! So Harry you are quite wrong about the role that Nuns play in the Roman Catholic Church. Im not going to say anything about Jewish women because there isn't a lot to say about the role they play in Judaism.

fact which is hardly surprising when you consider that 98% of the people there belong to a religion which views women as second-class citizens.

Tut tut Harry, I was brought up in a strict catholic home, at no time was I made to feel inferior to my brothers, I was given all the opportunities they were (and probably more being the only girl).

It's 2009 not 1999 - she left home, stayed in a country after her ex left and now she returned...Ireland is best off just walking away....

While the average British girl would most probably say "Mum, Dad, get fucked. It's my life.", Polish girls aren't like that.

The average British girl wouldn't have to tell their parents to get fucked as their parents would back them if they were in an abusive relationship.

For me it doesn't add up this girl isn't some teenager.

lol, he's not very good in the old insults and intimidation department is he :) I also noticed that your ex popped out to get her hair done, not exactly being held against her will is she? You know what Im expecting in a few more weeks time? That she needs money to escape! Makes sense that the ex is still involved, making threatening phone calls etc., it is possible that they are looking to take the piss even further out of you.

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

While the other is outside the intended use of the anus.

How do you know? Men have been at it for 1,000s of years..it's nothing new! Not all gay men end up with problems, same as not all women end up with a prolapse

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

I had a conversation with a friend of mine at weekend - she is gay - she thinks that teaching young kids about gayness at school is PC gone mad! As to the new books with gay penguins - she just said it's just another way for someone to make a bit of money out of PC gone mad! ...She also said that tolerence is taught at home and it's parents that need re-educating not kids that need indoctrinating.

To Randle -some women suffer with prolaspes of the womb after having children do you suggest women stop having children? After all it must be unatrual if something like this could happen!

Food / MARMITE IN POLAND? [96]

Marmite and Peanut Butter sandwiches, toasted works for me ;)

Freak!

Marmite is the most rancid scrapings from the festering underpants of the Devil himself. I wouldn't feed it to hungry dogs. Disgusting.

Yum yum pigs bum :)

and pikey jewellery

Have they got Elizabeth Dukes in Poland? ;0)

Interesting that they have to be "beautiful" isn't it? No one can stomach watching two fat dykes (if you excuse my expression) going at it. Having said that, what does it matter if some people are gay? That's up to them

Well you wouldn't want to watch two "ugly" anything at it really...not unless you secretly fantasise about two ten ton tessies bouncing on each other!

News / Poland to make cuts amid gloomy economic forecasts [30]

Hmmm.... I don't think Government need to temper with the data.

Figures are "fudged"

The UK people were voting for Tony Blair to be their Prime Minister ..... had Gordon Brown been leader of the party would the same people have voted Labour ?

No - he's a bloody fool! and just to be clear I didn't vote the other bloody fool in either!
______________________________________________________________________ ____

Regarding the unemployment figures - I'd double what they have and add a few more 100 thousand! They have learnt over the years how to manipulate these figures, when the miners lost their jobs, they were "advised" to sign on sick rather than to sign on unemployed - firstly they would receive more money and secondly they are not on the national statistics for unemployment figures. This trend has continued over the years to mask the real problem in this country. It's only now we can see on the news that 2,000 hear and 10,000 there have lost there jobs people start to think.

The above peeves me, why should other member states who have already had large handouts be given more?

No it is not. Forcing one's beliefs on others is.

I bet you wouldn't object if two beautiful lesbians asked you back to their place to watch? Such double standards exist where men are concerned!

How strange, me too!

Well, I am normal guy like you, but unlike you I prefer guys, well musles, hairs, something like that. Am I gay? I don't think so. Just a guy with little deviations, certainly not gay.

You dont like labels?

Love / Chatting up Polish girls in the street. [60]

I don't disagree with you mostly but blokes do tend to chat up women when they are on holiday <Italians and Greeks especially lol> and it's just a bit of harmless flirting most of the time.

If it's friendly, there's no harm in it and some women would be flattered I think. So, I don't really see the harm in the poster asking his question.

I've been chatted up in a supermarket several times and I don't see the person/s as weirdo's......in fact wasn't there a thing on tv about some of the supermarkets trying out a singles night .......

(Holiday is fine :) )

Ive had a few not so pleasant experiences of late, maybe this has tainted my view, saying that there is a particularly nice chap that gets on the tram who keeps smiling at me :)

Yes, British girls are very polite, particularly in normal social situations. But I also like British girls because they are very straight forward and if they aren't feeling comfortable they will tell you to go away without hesitation, in a polite way.
However, when I talk to Britsh girls, they can't resist my friendly and soft Latino approach, with a nice smile and sexy Spanish accent (I have been told!). And in many occasions, the girls are the ones asking for my mobile number to get in touch so they can practice their Spanish! Of course, I don't approach all girls in the street, only those who look professional or University educated as they are more open minded about talking to a nice stranger and kissing good bye on both cheeks.

This is a wind up :)

Love / Chatting up Polish girls in the street. [60]

Do Polish girls feel very nervous and uncomfortable if someone tries to chat with them in the street, supermarket, on the bus, etc.? I have seen very pretty Polish girls in the UK streets but I haven't tried chatting with them in the same way I would do with British girls! Comments from Polish girls in the UK would be very appreciated! :)

What makes you think us British ladies like it? Maybe we're just too polite to tell you to go away...Having your space invaded by a weirdo isn't appreaciated by any nationality..

News / More and more jobs moving to Poland from other parts of Europe... [50]

I wonder if the margins saved on salary outweigh the margins lost on sales.

Doubtful, that's why so many businesses are going to wall, remember they still have to staff the shops in the "West" - just more of a knock affect - if you haven't got the cash, no matter how cheap the item is, you still can't afford to buy it, the staff in the shops lose their jobs too. Rising household costs in the "west" just means less disposable income, couple that with massive job losses, it doesn't take a genius to work out that there aren't too many winners.
