Love / Question: Do Polish girls prefer married men? [59]

The girl is the victim. She waited for a divorce but the husband cheated her.Now he is back with his wife. These men are pigs.

they were both wrong, her for getting involved with a married man and him for not keeping it in his trousers!

Really?

Do a search you will see that some are actually quite proud that they are sh*gging married men whos wives are back in Poland or who have come over here to discover that their childhood sweetheart has been banging the local bike :)

Life / considering a move to poland :-) [19]

I love Czech Republic Tele, but I know that I could never earn the money I do hear or have the life style I have here so I settle for a few visits a year, but if it is your dream go for it, personally I would rather have the best of both worlds....

Travel / How much złoty would be enough to last 3 weeks in Poland? [25]

Wraclaw is a difficult one, we stayed at a nice hotel because we were only there three nights. I will try and find the name of the apartments that we stayed at last summer in Krakow, there was a nice hotel near to them with a really nice area to sit outside and eat, one other thing that is nice about Krakow in teh summer is the parks, just make a sandwich get a bottle of water and go and sit on the grass its lovely, not as crowded as the city and a good escape for an hour or so and for some reason my heyfeaver didnt flair up either - everyone does it so you wont look out of place also a cheap alternative to buying lunch in a restaurant :)

Travel / Visiting Krakow 4 a Week & want to get the most from it....!! [6]

Little, Ive been a couple times and the clubs are pretty good, they are in to hip hop in a big way :) Try Prozak, its a good night and Rdza is also pretty cool, not sure of the addreses, you will have to ask for directions when you're in Krakow as for eating out, most restaurants are very nice :)

Travel / How much złoty would be enough to last 3 weeks in Poland? [25]

Was in Krakow this time, was there last summer too and also visited Wraclaw in December, stayed at some really cheap apartments when I was in Krakow last summer, I mean cheap, but they were clean and in a really good location - think they were about 14 quid a night, Krakow is amazingly busy in the summer, bit of advice on the whole what to wear too, take some nices dresses, Polish women always look so manicured and well dressed in Krakow, also the weather was in the late 20is and even up to 31 degrees one day so light clothing, oh some fab ladies clothes shops too in Krakow :) plus the one million kabab shops, which I tested in Feb, very nice, but I have no idea how the Polish walk with them and eat at the same time, I needed a knife and fork to eat mine :) The jewish district is a must see, but get a good guide book before you visit there because it can turn in to an aimless walk about if you dont have a plan :)

One more thing, the bars outside on the main square in Krakow if very child friendly, saw quite a few Polish families sat around having coffe and lunch

UK, Ireland / Happy St Georges Day !! [10]

Have a great St Georges day to all the English members of the forum.. It is amazing how it is never celebrated much compared with St Patricks Day. Have fun..

Delayed celebration going to a John Bull party on Friday :) a yearly tradition :)

So yes some of us do, do something to remember our Britishness :)

I spent £300 when I was there for 4 days in Feb, but im a bit of a spend aholic - I'd say about £1,000 would be fine - M&S I have found to be the best exchange rate, if you dont have one already open a Nationwide BS account they dont charge when you get money out of the hole in the wall, all the bars seem to charge the same even the nice ones on the main squares and all the restaurants a really reasonable and thats nice restaurants, you can eat really cheaply if you need to and the food is just as good.

UK, Ireland / POINTS SYSTEM BEING INTRODUCED NEXT YEAR IN THE UK [25]

el rincon de rafa ok

I will say hello on your behalf next time i am in there, its a good secret in M/c, nice and tucked away - I see you have a little knowledge my Spanish Friend

Can't....freedom to live, ply your trade EU wide....breach of human/ EU rights.

Frank, to be fee is one thing, but in England (a small Island) life is but that, schools are taking in around 30 student that have no English each term which finally the government has decided is a problem :) at least 3 teachers plus support staff have to be allocated and if these kids come from families that are not shall we say giving back to the coffers then its a strain - and I actually welcome the changes - there will still be an exchange of people from around the world but it will benefit England and if that sounds selfish, then I am selfish.

and be adopted ? No thanks, I need a woman, not a second mum

Who's ya mamma now! :) sorry couldnt resist that one :)

For a minute I thought this was a variation on the cannibalism 'Quick Meals For One' debate.

Mr H you are a star, if anyone can make a meal out of a line it is you :) (she pardons the pun

No way Ms A, I'm going to be the cook

My goodness, consider yourself adoped if you can cook :)

I see from your posts that you are not entirely happy in Scotland, why not move? There is an abundance of work out there in big cities in the UK and large Polish communities everywhere

I wonder if they throw me away from your country then

I really dont think so my little Mr B :)

But none of this will apply to any EU person...only those from outside or no right to live in UK!!!

No Frank it will apply to all

I wonder if they throw me away from your country then

I want to adopt Mr B and bring him home with me and cook him a good home cooked meal for some reason :)

Love / Can anyone help with my brokenheart???? [67]

HELLO FISZ.... I AM NOT PRESSURING HER FOR IT FRIEND.... BUT ONCE FEW WEEKS AGO SHE TOLD ME YOU MARRY ME SO I THOUGHT SHE WANTS TO MARRY ME AND SO I ASKED HER YESTERDAY ABOUT IT AND NOW SHE SAYS NO.... I DONT KNOW WHY? WHAT IS THE REASON BEHIND IT???

A womans prerogative to change her mind and lets be honest I dont think she's that serious about you, I think she is scared of hurting your feelings and maybe she telling you what you want to hear, my advice would be to leave it well alone and move on, you have already made reference to the fact your family will not approve of the relationship and I have my doubts hers will - so when all said and done its not exactly the match made in heaven is it?

but i think that she wont marry me because i think she doesnt believe in marriage??

Im sure she does - most if not all women do, but it has to be with the right person and it would seem you are not the right person

USA, Canada / Shootings in America; over 30 people shot [52]

The sad thing is, nothing will change and thats what upsets me, because those families will never have any kind of retribution.

USA, Canada / Shootings in America; over 30 people shot [52]

The murder rate in the USA is 20k pa Amathyst..........90% + by gun...in UK......7-800....only.......mostly by gun too.

UK is a lot smaller so those figures are quite scary.

Gun crime has been around for a long time, its just that guns are more available and incidents like this seem to be happening more and more

Just heard thats it the worst massacre in U.S history 32 dead, dozens wounded.

Thats the report I heard on t.v. a little while ago, those poor kids just off to colleage

He shot himself after he had killed and hurt so many :( Gun laws in the USA are crazy, anyone can own a gun, saying that its getting bad over here
