If you are not of African origin, a homosexual or an intravenous drug user, your chances of being HIV positive are miniscule. The figures speak for themselves, the PC brigade cannot gloss over them.

Love / Personal issues with two women, they want to be my friend - a Polish thing? [49]

That's why posted, it just seemed so ludicrous two young doctors might be attrracted to someone in thier 50's. One you could put down to a mistake but two ????

Well, they arent after your moolah if they are doctors. Maybe you are a lot better looking than you realise? You might regret not going for it. You will be a long time dead. ;)

Man go for it, you obviously want more than friendship, otherwise you wouldnt be posting this info on a Polish message board. Go for it, maybe they want you to make the first move. For all you know they could be asking the same damn questions on a Brit forum.

No risk, no reward.

UK, Ireland / Why do Poles come to England? [514]

I would never class a British born Asian for example as foreign and many them have better family values than quite a few English people I know.

The British and Irish youth have been abandoned by their respective political establishments during the elites quest for multiculturalism. Treason of the highest order.

UK, Ireland / Private primary schools list in Ireland? [4]

list of private primary schools

There are very few private primary schools in Ireland. They are mostly for minority religions, like Prods, muslims, hindus, etc etc.

The full list is available on schooldays.ie. They are listed as independent.

I would also advise you to look into your local Gaelscoil. Your child will not get a better education.

Child benefit to eastern european childers

In 2008, a spot check of Children's Allowance found a greater incidence of fraud amongst eastern euros. The fraud amongst eastern euros was 13% of all claims compared to 1.5% among Irish citizens. So, one in eight of those children not resident in the state, in receipt of the benefit simply do not exist. Eastern europeans are 800% more likely to commit benefit fraud. I am sure there are plenty of non existant Pawels and Agniezkas in the Uk too.

As for the Pole stating that free movement of labour cannot be over ruled. Err, err. Wrong. It can be revoked, at a stroke of a pen in Brussels.

iv) safeguard clause (paragraph 7)

If an old Member State stops using national law measures and moves to free movement of workers under Community law, there is a possibility to re-impose restrictions if there are serious disturbances on the labour market, or the threat thereof. These "safeguard" clauses have always featured in accession Treaties, but have never been invoked. Therefore the Commission has no practical experience in their operation. However, it is clear that the Commission would expect a Member State to put forward convincing proof of a high level of disturbance on the labour market, in order to justify seeking to re-impose a restriction on free movement of workers, one of the four fundamental freedoms under the EC Treaty*. This same comment will apply to the use of the safeguard clause as between the new Member States (under paragraph 11).

Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

RN, it's not easy being green, isn't it?

What is so hard about it? We are one of the only members of the 27 European states that is completely innocent.

Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

Under severe duress, mo chara. As per usual. My people voted for partition of my nation under threat of immediate and terrible war. A couple of year later they were armed and fighting against said people. Fear is a terrible emotion to play with.

Tell me, except the Spaniards, who else voted for Lisbon? The french said no, as did the dutch.

Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

Since word of a EU, the price of real estate has increased in Poland and has done so till some 12 months ago, its a fact. A lot of people has cashed in and done pretty well at the expense of the Poles.

This is one of the three reasons the ten accession states where rushed into the EU.

1) Stop Putins attempt at a land grab.

2) Access of your natural resources and buy up property.

3) Supply the west with cheap labour.

since the foundation of the freestate - 1923

The Irish Free State was created on the 6th of December 1922.

Racist opinions - that single out people because of their ethnic origin is considered as an act to incite racial hatred and I would like to point out that its highly illegal.

This culchie oaf is as ignorant of the law of its land as it is of its countries history. Free speech, baby.

News / Are Poles happy about the impending Federal states of Europe? [20]

Maybe Poland or Ireland would like to be first as a "proof of concept"?

It is my belief that a eurosceptic political party would make huge dividends in Poland, Ireland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia. Especially Slovenia.

News / Are Poles happy about the impending Federal states of Europe? [20]

Well, I was of course assuming that a majority in a country is for it. ;)

That would be possible, if the EUnuch propaganda train was not in full force.

The average working class worker, in each member state, is scared sh!tless to even contemplate his/her nation leaving the EU federal state, as the EUnuchs have led us all to believe that it would lead to financial and economicial doom and gloom. Which of course, is patently false.

Fair enough. I could post some links to Irish foras regarding the subject if you are interested? Here, you will only find the two extremes.

What astonished you on politics.ie? I post there too.

Study / From India, hotel management courses and studying in Poland [29]

A 'hotel management' degree from a private institution in any EU state is worthless, not just Poland.

Not if you want to work in that field. Shannon Hotel and Catering institute is recognised and respected across the globe. I could get a job in the states, using contacts made there, in a matter of hours.

5zl an hour, 25zl for every sale. OTE of 1500zl a week on full time hours, not bad is it? :)

Whats your slice of the pie?

Study / From India, hotel management courses and studying in Poland [29]

Study in your own country, when you are qualified, search for work abroad. A hotel management degree from the accession states is not looked upon favourably in western countries.

EDIT, see words in bold.

Hey, don't talk to my potential staff like that!

You mean your potential minimum wage drone? How much commission will you get?

He should save up his money and study hotel management in Switzerland. They will put him on a work placement, and if he is any use, the hotel will offer him some part time work when he finishes his placement. Once he qualifies, he will walk into a junior Duty Management position in the west. If he studies in Poland, and does not learn the Polish language, his chances of getting a job, other than cleaning the jacks, in either Poland or the west, are slim to none.
