History / Is there a good recent film on an important Polish battle/war/history fact? [11]

It's not a bad piece but it disappointed me in a way. There's no action at all, the film is boring, filled with dull dialagoues. I knew the historic background before I went to the cinema therefore I found the film boring because apart from the historic facts it doesn't express much more. The burning of the photograph of Kutschera is a totally misjudged Hollywood style concession, it almost made me giggle.

History / Is there a good recent film on an important Polish battle/war/history fact? [11]

There are many related to events of World War Two! Off the top of my head: Akcja pod Arsenałem, Kanał, Godzina W, Sekret Enigmy, Hubal, Kiedy miłość była zbrodnią, Zakazane piosenki, fairly new Daleko od okna and very famous Pianista and even comedies: C.K Dezerterzy and Jak rozpętałem Drugą Wojnę Światową.

Love / He keeps adding females friends to his profile .... [41]

..says the girl who has hundreds of people on her facebook? I'm sorry, but to me it seems pretty normal to invite or add someone else who is connected to someone I actually know in real life. I think getting to know new people is basically the whole idea or concept behind social networking?

What are you talking about? I have less than 100 of them and I KNOW them. You want me to make a print screen?

The fact that he has female friends on a social network page shouldn't bother you at all, it's normal.

No, it is not normal to be browsing and adding people you don't know (most likely because they are visualy attractive as I take it as a reason why he does it...) Lalka, dump his ass!

Travel / Question about Wizz air flights to Katowice/Kraków... [20]

If their coming in on the A4 make sure they leave around 40 mins from there to Katowice airport, its miles out of town.

I know where Katowice airport is, I have flew from there a few times. The problem is I never flew with Wizz Air and the tickets say Lefty will land in Katowice/Cracow, not in Katowice.

Love / Polish Girls Reputation [231]

winkwink

You keep insulting Polish women, do you expect me to sit quietly in the corner and listen? You even suggested I would cheat on my boyfriend. Well guess what I'm Polish myself and I find it highly offensive, especially because I wouldn't touch you with a bargepole no matter how much you offered to pay for this! I have never cheated on anyone. blimey! My English exboyfriend cheated on me. Does it mean now that all English people are cheaters and liars? Well no! Your hate against Polish women is pathetic! It doesn't take the rocket science to find out you have been left by the Polish birdy but don't you think it's stupid to judge the whole entire nation for the sins of one person you happened to meet, now how narrow minded is that! The fact you have been with a skank only shows this is the type of women that you find attractive so blame yourself for bad experiences, take a lesson and move on!! Stop dwelling on how Polish woman tricked you. This is crying a river over nothing, nobody here gives a toss about your opinion or about your relationships, all you bring is a laugh. Your "views" on history and communism are a laugh too. You only joined today and look at how many useless posts you have made, all of them about Polish girls. Now this is called an issue! Get ovet this and maybe but only maybe you will find somoene nice.

Life / Looking for details on hunting in the vovoidship of Warmia-Mazurskie. [92]

Without bragging, I'm very good with guns when it comes to target shooting, I have been taught by my dad for years and we still have this old rifle of his. It never crossed my mind to shoot the animals... When it comes to hunting for food, that's a different story but killing for pleasure is pathetic!

Travel / Airports in Poland [11]

Is Radom a military airport? There was a airshow disaster here very recently.

Food / ANYBODY MAKE HOME-MADE KIEŁBASA? [21]

Here we don't kill the pig---We got to the store and buy the front or rear shank of the pig.

Guess what, somebody has had to kill that pig first.

I don't believe anyone here makes kiełbasa.

I'll try to take the pictures next time my dad does!

Travel / Airports in Poland [11]

The map shows all the aiports in Poland. Many of the airports showed below are not used or are military and private aiports so are not open for the public. They are the aiports with both paved and unpaved runways (paved - hard surface and unpaved - soft surface only for lighter aircrafts). There are also several roads in Poland used as emergency military runways. It's usually easy to recognise them, they're very wide with no trees surrounding them and have appropriate marking.

List of civil airports open for public use by traffic size:

Warsaw
Kraków
Katowice
Gdańsk
Wrocław
Poznań
£ódź
Rzeszów
Szczecin
Bydgoszcz
Zielona Góra

Food / ANYBODY MAKE HOME-MADE KIEŁBASA? [21]

My dad does. It is really quite impressive how he wakes up early in the morning, kills the pig and then prepares the meat for 2 days.
