Travel / Naturist places in Poland [16]

that's right - that was the case on naturist beaches that I've been on in Germany, Scandinavia and one really fab beach on Ibiza.

Travel / Naturist places in Poland [16]

That's generally the deal on "textilfrei" beaches in Germany.

Travel / Naturist places in Poland [16]

But none of them are 100% naturist according to that link. I wouldn't feel happy stripping off if everyone around was fully clothed, but I have no problem if everyone else is in the buff.

Travel / Polish spa resorts [10]

So, I'm off to the Baltic coast for a couple of days next week.

Planning on checking out some of the spas (especially if the weather isn't up to much). Any tips on what to expect? And what is the etiquette in saunas etc (for instance, when I've visited them in Germany and Scandinavia everyone's in the buff)?

Travel / Clean, safe, comfortable hotels to stay in Warsaw? [12]

I usually stay at my mate's place, but the first couple of times that I visited Warsaw on business, I stayed at the Premiere Class, which is cheap (under PLN 200 a night). It was pretty basic, but otherwise clean and modern polhotels.com/warsz/PremiereClasse/

Travel / Gay bars in Warsaw [16]

LOl I love threads that start with "a friend of mine" " a mate of mine" right right

I'm female - if I wanted to find a lesbian bar / club, that's what I'd ask for ;)

London - Has your friend gone yet to Warsaw?

Sorry - too late. This was at the end of last year.

I don't know - When I visited there were bars and clubs going almost everynight. Its just harder to find them I guess.

Would you describe Warsaw a gay-friendly? I like going to gay bars in London with my gay friends (male), as they're usually good fun, and I love the music. Is there a similar scene in Warsaw?

UK, Ireland / exchange rates - zloty to pound [16]

Get a little bit for arrival ie Taxi etc

Completely agree - I wouldn't feel safe carrying around that kind of money in cash (anywhere in the world).

Travel / Central Wings cancel certain flights to Poland [38]

I've flown a lot with CW and also with German Wings, and found the overall service to be going more and more down the pan. I'm sure that I posted about the grief that I had with them last time I went to Warsaw on PF.

Next time I fly to Warsaw, I'll probably go with Wizz from Luton. It's a bit of a schlep for me, seeing as I'm in East London however I can get a transfer from Victoria. And they have a lovely purple colour scheme.

UK, Ireland / Enquiry Immigration tv report [13]

we urge as many ppl who know firms who employ polish immigrants over their own people to boycott their products , more and more british are coming out of work and it's down to open door crazy insane policies

I think that you'll find that many Poles are doing jobs that Brits are too lazy to do... why go out and work when you can sit on your arse watching Jeremy Kyle and claim benefits?

UK, Ireland / Enquiry Immigration tv report [13]

polish dirt taking all our jobs and making many brits worse off , i'm just glad ppl are waking upto this nightmare at last and it's the main reason labour got a trouncing

Ooooh look, it's NoImmi's kid cousin who talks as much sh1te as he does LOL!!

The main reason Labour is getting a "trouncing" is because they've been taking money off the British public and now it's all gone wrong. They've also advocated the Credit Card Nation. Do you know that most households are 30 days away from bankruptcy? Only a full pay cheque will stop it. It's good to throw cards at people and say "yeah, take a few grand" but they never thought that 90% of people wouldn't be able to pay it back (because they would spend the few grand).

Round of applause, m'dear!

Life / Well You visited and/or lived in Poland, tell us what its like. [41]

I *think* that I see where you are coming from... if you take London as an example, an Investment Banker from New York and living in Mayfair is going to see the city differently than somebody who is born and bred Bethnal Green. Is that what you mean?

Love / Why english men like polish women ? [126]

yes, but with your pompous attitude and the attitude of your like let's see how long that lasts. go home, have a drink and ruminate on why the divorce and single rate of london women is so high.. food for thought.

How can you call me pompous?? I'm lovely....

I seriously reckon that you've been hurt by a girl in London, hence you are tarring me with the same brush by the way that you refer to "the attitude of your like". There are millions of women in London, and they're not all the same.

Get yourself a Russian mail-order bride who'll worship you and fail to see the fact that you are a rather bitter and screwed up individual who can't handle the women in his own country... as long as you give her access to your bank account and credit card, it'll be a win win situation :)

Real Estate / Market Report - RICS 2008 Poland Housing Review [25]

I don't know of anyone else issuing monthly market reports in Poland. Anyone?

Interfax News Agency publishes a weekly one that covers the Eastern and Central European property markets:
