Enquiry Immigration tv report

hi there!
I have heard about a tv show that aired around mid-January 2008 (early morning, in London, probably BBC) about eastern european migrants, specially poles, coming to the UK. I'm desperately looking for that report and can't simply find it despite all my searches.

I'd like to know if there was any way you could help me (the show also included a debate/interview of poles)? Any information will be of a great help (title, exact date, channel ...)

there was a program on BBC i watched which was available on BBC iplayer for one week. I would contact BBC if you would like a copy of it, program name is "the Poles are coming!" but it due to the strength of polish currency & more prospects in Polska should have been "the Poles are leaving, the Uk isn't so great anymore & is always raining!" hehe! j

i guess a lot of people are thinking the same! lol
think is I tried to contact them but got nothing. it'll be lovely from you if you could get that.

polish dirt taking all our jobs and making many brits worse off , i'm just glad ppl are waking upto this nightmare at last and it's the main reason labour got a trouncing

The main reason Labour is getting a "trouncing" is because they've been taking money off the British public and now it's all gone wrong. They've also advocated the Credit Card Nation. Do you know that most households are 30 days away from bankruptcy? Only a full pay cheque will stop it. It's good to throw cards at people and say "yeah, take a few grand" but they never thought that 90% of people wouldn't be able to pay it back (because they would spend the few grand).

So it's nothing to do with Polish people taking any jobs, infact, they have helped because they take job previously lying open because they are too low paid for some Brits.

we urge as many ppl who know firms who employ polish immigrants over their own people to boycott their products , more and more british are coming out of work and it's down to open door crazy insane policies

I think that you'll find that many Poles are doing jobs that Brits are too lazy to do... why go out and work when you can sit on your arse watching Jeremy Kyle and claim benefits?

I can see your point of view, in Britain we have a problem getting people back into work, apart from the fact they don't want to work, there is nowhere for them to work as these jobs have been filled (on demand) by immigrants. So what do you do with all the people on sick pay or benefits if you can't find them simple jobs like cleaning, serving coffee etc etc??


I can also see this point of view, which in part i agree with. I woudn't say the British employers dug the whole i would say the British government dug the hole by letting so many people in with uncontrolled immigration policies.

As I've always said there is nothing wrong with controlled/managed immigration, but what we have at the moment is uncontrolled chaos.
