Love / My Polish boyfriend fancies are Pakistani neighbor. What do I do ? [291]

Lol, ok let's clear up the behind the back thing, clearly is impossible to talk about somebody behind their back on a forum, as the words are visible to anybody in the world if they wish to view them.

Giong behind somebodies back is if Polishgirlx wrote to dtaylor for EXAMPLE, 'that uummmm hottie is a soft so and so' that is going behind somebodies back, as it is not visible to all and sundry.

As for the Lukasz thing, your boyfriend is/was called it and there was also a poster on the forums with the same name :)

As for being polite and making your point or making your point and being rude, there are two different approaches, from a male to a female it should ALWAYS be the first. Maybe its acceptable from girl to girl, although usually that is just being ******. There is a time for being rude and making your point though :)

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

We already figured that one out. Which brings me to think, why do you make statements about subjects of which you have no idea of? (Polish history)

there is a difference between not being a specialist and not knowing, i thought you would know that :)

He just wrote his point of view and instead of flaming him like you do/did you could simply discuss the matter and come to an conclusion of the matter like the gentlemans you are.

that is all i have asked for, however all i've got is abuse yet no answer. Seems some people would rather criticise yet not be able to produce the goods. I don't mind being told i'm wrong/have a lack on knowledge but please back it up with a bit of an argument and some facts, instead of the usual volley of abuse.

Seriously, a discussion about war, where'd yah think it was gonna lead to? A consensus.

no but at least make it a 'discussion' not a 'slanging match' dosen't it make sense??

you've got excited because torando pet you in a back and said that in soft words....but you need a wake up call....some self respect would help here too...

lol, hang on just one second, i don't think my words were soft, i just didn't 'f' and blind all over the show, i save that for when i'm really mad, hehe.

I think i told her in the best way possible but you obviously don't agree.

my level is pretty high so i would not recommend it to you

yes you do have a good level, i just hope the air up there is not to thin so you can't breathe properly :):)

but you have to admit that you need to wake up and start thinking and living on your own...

agreed

Stop being a victom and take care of yourself.

spot on!!

i guess somethings arent meant to be no matter how much you want them to be.

forget all that meant to be rubbish, isn't that what got you into this mess in the first place??? take life as it comes, if you need to flex and adapt along the way then do it :)

News / Should Poland send volunteers to Georgia ? [100]

I don't think that Poland as a country should get involved in that mess but what about providing volunteers with weapons, transport etc. ?

i totally agree with you about Poland, i also suggest that the rest of europe takes a back seat, this is between Russia and Georgia and it seems to me Georgia has dug itslef a hole it cannot get out of.

News / Poland's Future Includes Fewer Poles, More Foreigners [324]

The day you open the gates for Asians and Africans is the day Poland will go down the pan. Expect a rise in crime, drugs, guns, knives and rape. Stick to EU/US/Australian migrants only.

i would agree with that in the main, although, i think a better idea would be to have a criteria for entering the country in the first place. Base it on the idea that Australia has, take in people who are going to benefit the UK, i've mentioned it before on the forums and to be honest i don't see what is wrong with that idea.

If you take in all the immigrants who have good qualifications, wanting to be educated etc etc, then it takes out those who are going to harm the country. The same Poland could start by using a system like that and learn from the mistakes of the UK.

Love / My Polish boyfriend fancies are Pakistani neighbor. What do I do ? [291]

Its easy for everyone too tell me this but its way too much harder too do it.I sacrificed so much for him and all because i really though we are meant to be.

It is very hard, who said it was going to be easy??? Its just the first steps you have to take and nobody else can take them for you. Yes you probably did give up a lot for him, your going to lose a lot if you do leave him and you will lose even more if you don't. It is better to cut your losses and get it done as early as possible, it will cause you less pain if you do. Whatever your thought about him being the one, you were wrong, he clearly likes somebody else and he has told you as much to your face.

T: My name is Alyssa and thankyou for your advice i guess the truth hurts and your right its not what i want to hear i have had everyone telling me to leave him from day 1 its been a losing battle i lost family and friends in the process.

well Alyssa, i guess your right, it is easy for me to sit here and give you the advice which you have to act on. I like many other people have found myself in a similar situation to yourself. My friends were telling me what i'm telling you know. Luckily your boyfriend has been very honest to you how he feels, which is more than what i go. I think you should respect him for his honesty and let him get on with his life, whether or not that includes you.

i lost family and friends in the process.

you don't have to answer the question publicly if you don't want to but why did you lose your family and friends?? was it a case of him or them?? or have you moved away from them, therefore not seeing a lot of your family and old friends anymore???

I wish you all the best as whatever you decide you have a tough time coming up

Love / My Polish boyfriend fancies are Pakistani neighbor. What do I do ? [291]

I came here for support and advice not for you too tell me too break up with lukasz.
For those who helped me thankyou

hi there, i don't know your name, so i'm just going to have to call you umm_hottie, its not the thing i usually call a lady.

On the original post, you typed out your situation and how you felt, then asked people for their advice on what you should do.

You have read a number of replies, here is mine to add, when i've typed out what i think you should do, i've got a few more home truths for you.

OK your situation is that your boyfriend is living with you and your friends. You have been together for a while but now he is feeling something for another girl, her religion, origin, race etc etc has nothing to do with it. As far as i understand it, he has told you how he feels about this girl. He wants to break up with you.

You on the other hand don't want to break up with a guy that 'DOES NOT LOVE YOU ANYMORE' how loud does he have to say it. Your so desperate because you do not see an ulternative to what you are used to or don't see a future for yourself without him. Well i've got news for you love, YOU HAVE!!!!. If he dosen't want to be with you then don't force him, there is nothing worse than forcing a relationship to continue when one side is not into it.

So the best thing you can do is agree to split with your boyfriend, stay as friends and get on with the rest of your life. It is very difficult and yes there will be a time where your down and you don't know whether your coming or going, you will get through that stage and be much better for it.

So there is the situation done, now for the other home truth:

Let me quote it once more:

I came here for support and advice

and that is exactly what you got, whether you like what people have to say, that is their advice, break up with him, leave him or whatever. Just because you've heard something that you don't want to hear it does not mean its wrong!!!! Please remember that.

tell me too break up with lukasz

well what were you expecting people to say, 'yeah stick with it, its sure to work out in the end' or 'stay with him, don't worry if he starts sleeping with the girl next door, he will get bored soon' no no no no no no no no no, the thing is you know, you just need to wake up and admit to yourself that what people are telling you is right.

For those who helped me thankyou

i'll take your thank you in advance.

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

There was nothing wrong with your answer that I could see however some people regard your answer as the wrong one. They however havent said what the right one is.

its typical though, people find it so easy to criticise the answer on the table, while at the same time not be able to come up with their own.

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

It all depends what kind of war, against who, when, where, how, what kind of support from allies If any etc. so your screams in this thread are simply pathetic. No offense Torn but you are just not the smartest guy and sometimes for your own benefit you should rather just listen, read and generally get some knowledge instead of screaming and spreading bullsh*its like a 5 years old child.

every time you just question somebodies intellegence, why why why??? there is simply no need, what was the point of asking the qeustion in the first place, nobody on here is good enough to take every potential situation into account. So don't go calling me 'the dummy' or 'not the smartest guy' i don't exactly see Albert E in you either if i'm telling the truth. No i'm not a specialist on Poland or Polish history but at least i don't pose and act like i know everything like you do!!!!!

I would tell you to get off your high horse but you don't have one :). As for listening, i've heard enough of your rubbish too and as far as spreading 'Bullsh*t' i've not said anything!!! what have i said apart from the fact Poland is not ready for anoher war??? BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT.

Youbring me into question and slam me each time i have an opinion, well at least i have one and its much better than just bad mouthing people like you do. its always good to make a point as well as slag people off, how about it, try it :)

So do not do not do not preach to me, your not good enough to do so.

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

I'm thinking of the recent smash hit sung by One Republic and Timbaland...

how can it be to late if i don't need to in the firstplace, but i like the slant you put on that :)

And "Could Poland handle another war?" is so general question that no one can really answer that, so you with your "no ! no ! definately no !" are either provocative or a total moron.

its neither mate, there are not a lot of countires that could just up and have a go at playing war at the momnet, Poland is one of them, stop trying to lead down the path of me being provocative because i'm not.

I'm in the trenches with you mate - it's the war against ignorant, whining, skinny white legged Poms who think they know it all, but all they really know is how to drink warm beer and pee in ashtrays at the local pub.

:) - does that make it funnier Tornado?

unlike you mate i can take a bit of bashing :)

I wonder if Russia or Germany would be ready without the other? Seems to me they were both pretty brave until they turned on each other, then low and behold Soviets granted amnesty.

I think the Germans kicked off anyway, regardless of what the Ruski's were doing, Hitler was driving the Nazi war machine and that was that.

Have you no shame - don't try to extricate yourself from a clearly untenable position brought about by your own silliness and ego. A simple apology to the PF's Polish minority would suffice.

I always apologise when i have done wrong, i have said 'NOTHING WRONG' so i am not going to apologise, i stated my point of view which was not an attack. I'm not trying to dig myself out of any wholes, i don't mind a three on one or even four on one discussion as it seems to be.

So did I to put things into right perspective. During the last war Gerries simply developed far superior strategy and no one could defiet them until others simply copied their strategy, which took some time.

The Germans were defeated by themselves, Hitlers greed and the Russian winter.

Who is ever ready for a war?

exactly, apart from the USA, i cannot really think of a country who could launch into battle. Our forces are stretched enough already throughout Iraq, Afghanistan, UN Duties and other 'special' tasks which are not made public. So i would doubt the UK's hopes of getting involved in another war.

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

So Torny, how o how happened that Poland was once the largest country in Europe ? How do you think It survived so many wars ? How do you think Poland defeated Bolsheviks ?

That is the crucial point though Greg, 'was' Poland 'was' the biggest country in europe, it is not anymore. If it were that great would it not still be the same size, now as it was then. I am not saying Poland is/was weak, i was simply answering whether or not Poland could 'handle' another war like was asked at the top of the thread. In my view, no.

I didn't say Poland was useless or defensless, i mearly pointed out that i didn't think they were ready for another war. Even when under the control of Germany/USSR Poland continued to fight a 'secret war' in many of the major cities and beyond plus the fact throwing soldier and pilots at our ranks.

You've mistaken my 'view' of is poland ready to handle another war as an attack on Poland, ITS NOT, i should know as i wrote it!!!!!.

Giggle. Stop acting like a goose. I might be an Aussie, but I reckon I can hold my own against you, you paragon of intellect.

wow so thats your comeback, an attack on my intellect, did you not see the smiles after my comments about the aussies, for somebody who claims intellect you missed the fact that these were jokes.

I'm not getting into a 'who has the biggest d*ck' contest with you as there is no point, you like greg has taken my point of view on the subject as an attack on Poland rather than an honest point of view.

Read some history books - look at Napoleon's peninsular campaign.

geeezzz more history, i'm talking about WII not Napoleon, in fact why don't we assess it on todays standings??? i mean after all that is what i originally ended on, its strange how everybody has picked me up on the 'back in the day' comments but not on the actual answer to the set question. So how about it??

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

You're not answering anything... once again you are trying to be "provocative" as you think that It's "fun" or "cool" but Torn, you may pretend to be a girl and chat with boys, you may wear your mum's panties but once you touch these things, you may except the same kind of "respect" for yourself and your... ehmm... "kingdom".

right not anwering the question at all, by refering back to previous events, looking at the current sitation and saying whether or not i think they could handle another war!!!! As for the girl thing, we've been through this so many times, if thats all you've got then its pretty weak :).

BTW There was a time when we could crush you so easily that most of people here wouldn't have even noticed that there was some war - one could wonder If that shouldn't have happened.

lol, crush us so easily, stop dreaming were in 2008, the past is the past big boy :). I wasn't even talking British/Polish, just Polish. It isn't even me that turned this into a British VS Polish thing, your insecurities did that.

As for trying to provoce, i don't think so, if i wanted to do that surely i would have come on and said a lot worse.

So they were in the middle of whom?

Germany and Russia, how does that make it all sides????

Well put - blunt and to the point. Of the hand full of occasions when Poles went up against Poms in battle, it was the Poms who came off second best - and substantially so.

lol, when was that??? 27BC :)

typical, the Poles referring to the past because thats all they have got, why not think about Poland today and the potential instead of needing to reach back into the past either depressing yourselves, like our historians on here.

Surrender monkeys as they are better known...

the French haven't got the stomach for a war, they just love their food to much :) We eat to live, they live to eat :)

You're not answering anything - you're just slagging off Poland and pretending naivety is the reason for your silly posts. For all the time you spend on this forum, one would think you would know more about Poland and its military tradition.

hang on hang on, i'm not answering the question??? i'm looking at the current situation now and asessing it!!! As i said looking back historically, Poland does not fair well in wars, I expect if the Germans wanted anoher pop they probably could but the RUski's well i'm not sure if they could afford another war, they can barely feed their own people.

As for 'Slagging off Poland' what i've said is true, they have historically been invaved many times and even been shared between the Germans/Russians, how is that slagging them off???

Why are you slagging of my polish knowledge?? what have i said that is not true, are you telling me Poland has never been invaded??

Please as an Australian (Who tend to be three months behind the rest of the world, lol) correct me on everything i've said, although maybe the news the Poland was invaded by Germany hasn't reached you guys yet :)

I tell you i've just read the name of the thread and i have to agree with it totally. There has always been something myself and friends have wondered about the Polish, why when they come to the UK do they bunch up like this in a house that can fit four people with about twelve???

The only reason we can think of is because they want to save money, However this dosen't take away from the fact it is being done ileagally some of the tiem.

Are you joking, fighting on all sides from start to finish, can you just remind me how long it took the German blitzkrieg to rumble through Poland????? I think the Germans ad Russians were having a race to see who could take most of Poland within four weeks :).

Fair play you had a lot of angles of attack but which did you actually defend?? Are you counting underground fighting, when occupied, or sending accross pilots too. I don't believe those two elements would constitute being able to 'handle' another war

News / Could Poland handle another war? [63]

With all respect to say 'could Poland handle another war' the word 'handle' really ins't that relevant because when were poland actually ready to handle a war?

From what i can remember they didn't really seem able to handle world WII and have been invaded more times than the NODS on my Command and Conquer game :). So there for have not really 'handled' any wars, unless your clarification of handled is different to mine.

I would say however that Poland is probably in better shape to handle a war than it was back in the day, although i'm not sure on the current state of the army, navy, airforce and the technology involved.

yes on many occassions, not only in the forum but at work, in sport (The most!!!!), family life and many other areas which i really cannot be bothered to go into.

Criticism can be positive/negative depending on how you react to it. Thats my view anyway.
