Food / What do the Poles think of salt and vinegar crisps? [32]

Worcestershire sauce crisps from Golden Wonder are tasty too.

Got to say I prefer the Walkers...Also what do Poles reckon to crisp butties?

Surely they would go for McCoys;)

They are an imposter of a crisp!

Not me, I actually liked them.

A man of impeccable taste! I wonder what Poles think of Worcershire sauce flavoured crisps and do they prefer Walkers, Golden Wonder or Seabrook? ;0)

News / Child with Polish ex, is 275 Euros a normal amount for child maintenance? [53]

Im pretty sure if the child was in Ireland and wanted to live with him he would end up paying a hell of a lot more.

Dont bet on it!

Again Igy this bloke didnt want a kid by the sound of it and she didnt want to be with him, let Poland take care of her, she's their problem! Surely she can claim some benefits or even go wild and get a job to support her and her child!

Had it been a long serious relationship that broke down I would view it differently, seems like it was a bit of fun and she left when it stopped being fun, but left with a bit of extra baggage!

Get a paternity test done, if she refuses then refuse to pay on those grounds.

easydna.co.uk/content/index.php?section_id=1

Ive actually said before that if a woman gets pregnant in deceitful way then I dont feel a man should be held responsible for paying for the rest of his life. She left Ireland and didnt want anything to do with him, now she wants money but is still not offering him any contact with the child (good job he doesnt want it really)...Not only sperm donner but cash machine too...

If the child was living with you, you would be paying A LOT more than a miserable €275.

Thats nearly £300 quid at todays rate, my mate doesnt get that off her ex husband a month no where near!

News / Polish priest publishes sex guide [97]

Is it still legal in England to kill a Catholic priest with a stiletto?

Not unless there is a full moon and a man is wearing it, oh they have to be sling-backs and red.

Love / In your opinion, are most Polish women 'Easy'? [243]

You took my previous post too seriously. Really! :)

No, I was just making a point, it wasn't meant to be directed towards you alone.

i have few friends from US and UK in poland they have exactly same opinion as me... they say they never meet so many easy willing girls.

That's a bit harsh, Im English and we have a really bad rep for being total sluts (granted we earnt the title abroad), there is no denying that there are a considerable amount of girls that will go out and pick up a bloke and shag him....But I think it's unfair to label women when men are just as bad.

News / Polish priest publishes sex guide [97]

There are very few who are even interested in what their husband likes in bed.

They're probably more interested in how someone elses husband is in bed! I think the problem is that women were conditioned for so long to think that sex was something they were supposed to do but not enjoy, only bad women enjoy sex! Couple that with the fact sex generally meant 9 months later they were had another to add to the brood, so you can understand why women (normal ones not prostitues) didn't consider sex as a pleasurable bedroom entertainment.

Of course this has changed now with the introduction of contreceptives and the change of mindset, Id say women can be as selfish in the bedroom if not more so these day.

I love my wife but sometimes she made me mad

Well when you stop getting mad, start getting worried as ther must be something missing, indifference creeps in before relationships break up :(

News / Polish priest publishes sex guide [97]

at least with drugs, you can take them or leave them

Heroin? Id say most junkies would prefer a good fix to a good shag. As for a priest writing a book on sex that's like agraphobic to writing a book on travel.

I truly believe that if a man is 'satisfied in bed' (and this means acting out his hitherto hidden fantasies as well as acting out yours) it is unlikely he will go and search for someone else. ALL marriages fail because of sexual misalignment.

I agree to a certain degree but I also believe that conversation is key to a good relationship, why on earth would I want to shag someone who is miserable and doesn't communicate? Or what happens if a partner you love dearly is no longer able to perform, do you leave him simply because he cannot have sex?

News / Euro Elections 4th June - Who will you vote for ? [110]

If you put equality sign between the EU and Europe many honest Europeans might be offended. Please be more sensitive...

Who cares, we are constantly told that we are not European on this island but something different.

i understand there are pros and cons

Only cons as far as I'm concerned, we could have signed a trade treaty and done just fine without joining!

Love / Polish men (guys) - foreign women (girls)? [21]

it seems like single polish guys in the UK have a hard time.

Maybe they just need to grow a pair and get out and about and start to socialise ;0)

Statistically speaking couples who have more in common with one another have more successful relationships than 'opposite couples.'

I think in general European men are all much of a muchness :0)

UK, Ireland / Poles claim UK benefits after working only one year instead of going home [156]

We live in Australia now and i do see large influx of Enlish ex-pats, having sold their english properties for a lot, coming here and buying regular Australians out of the market. After 3 years they can apply for Australian citizenship and claim all the benefits they want. Without ""having to pay taxes"" for 20 yrs or contributing in the past in any shape or form. Some would say that might be unfair.

If you live in Aus then you know about the points based system, you will know how difficult it is to go and live in Aus, you will know that it's mainly professionals or those with specific skills go to live in Aus (from the UK), ex pats dont spend all day working in crap jobs only to send half of the money back to England to support poor relatives either! As for claiming benefits, well, hundreds of British are coming back to Britain from Spain because of the economic climate, they are not looking for handouts off the Spanish government! Or pension tax credits or any of the other benefits that all the other foreigners in this country enjoy!

British Expats
timesonline.co.uk/tol/money/pensions/article6297037.ece

so I think they deserve to claim.

They don't deserve anything, they are free to exercise their rights to work here but I don't remember exercising their rights to claim benefits was supposed to be a deal breaker for those coming to work (whoops claim benefits) here.., same as I wouldn't expect to go and work in another country and think that I deserve something for nothing!

News / The Emperor is naked. Lech Walesa, fool or hero ? [34]

From my experience of 'spotty teenagers' in Poland, most are very well educated compared to their British and Irish counterparts, and most take an intrest and pride in their culture that has long been diluted on our shores. What they dont have is the same sense of blind loyalty that generations before may have had, they also have an access to information and the freedom to question it

It's not about blind loyalty, it's about having been there and most of the people you are speaking to are enjoying a life their parents couldn't have even dreamt of! It's about a man that moved things forward in Poland and made the life they now have possible!

News / The Emperor is naked. Lech Walesa, fool or hero ? [34]

Do you not find it interesting that he refuses to sue for slander, and he is threatening to leave Poland because of these allegations ?

Maybe has more about him and hasnt joined the "where there's blame there's a claim" brigade! There are some people in this world left with integrity! It would seem he is one of them...and because a few spotty teenagers couldn't care less what he did for their country speaks volumes about them, not him!

I'd say the fact he is still around and has a public platform is testiment to him, where are all the great unionists from our past? I'd hazzard a guess and say they are all enjoying very nice pensions...Arthur Scargill anyone?

UK, Ireland / Polish Spitfire shoots down BNP [63]

It's amazing how little people know about the economic situations this country has gone through! How deindustrialisation has ruined a once proserous country!

The benefits system is wrong, I just watched a prog about benefit cheats - a whole Italian family have cheated the system out thousand whilst most of them were living in bloody sicily! One claiming for a dead relative...amazing thing is when they stopped their benefits they all rang up complaining - they were told to come to a certain police station and to the amazment of the benefits fraud people they had a damn cheek to hop on a flight and actually turn up at the police station demanding their benefits be reinstated...It just shows you how stupid and easy we are percieved as to the outside world! One good thing was 2 of them got months..the others got away with a slapped hand caution!

UK, Ireland / Relocating to the UK [7]

I'm trying to get into grad school in london

Places are quite tight and it's more difficult to get in these days, I'd get in touch and chase direct rather than waiting about for them to get back to you.

Most college students will have had conditional offers, if you havent had one of these by this time of year (I dont want to put you on a downer) it's unlikely you're going to get a place this year.

Good luck :0)

Food / FRIED (OFF & SLIMY) CHEESE, ANYONE? [13]

I have tried Cypriot Halloumi fried - very nice

Which is the only cheese that should ever be fried! Halloumi is also nice grilled, drissled with a good olive oil and eaten with some nice sliced tomato and fresh onion...God Am Starvin Marvin!

Go back to the 70s and you would find people leaving school and claiming benefits rather than getting a job,

If you look at how industry changed in the late 70s early 80s you might understand why unemployment was high!

I dont want to live on state hand outs if i can do it myself but iam fugged if i would work for peanuts when i would be better of claiming benefits.

Yeah, fcuk that thing called self-respect, lets spong off the state!

There are some polish people where i work and one of them was telling me the other day that he understands why british people feel strongly about immigration because the same thing was happening now in poland,

That's too funny!
