I'd have laughed if the rhyme had been "one, two three, the English smell of wee, It's really tickled me..

This piece of text looks like written by Harry.

Nah, it's too sophisticated for Harry..

Food / Wroclaw has an Indian Restaurant [34]

Chicken Tikka was actually invented by a Brit!!!!...shock horror!

I know, that doesnt mean that its out national dish, we invented beef Wellington too, unfortunately that doesn't make into the top 10 :( It was Robin Cook some idiot who proclaimed that it was our national dish!

britishfood.about.com/od/introtobritishfood/f/questions.htm

*sighs* idiotic comment from a stuck up Brit!

I was just putting you straight, you made a comment which was not true, I also prefer to be referred to as English not British :0)

It is the national dish of the UK

Sorry but you're wrong on that one, I think you will find it's fish & chips or a full english breakfast or a sunday roast, it is certainly not chicken tika, whilst its popular (or was) its not our national dish! Robin Cook is an idiot!

Menu is cheap though, it'll give the drunken Brits somewhere to go after they've had a skinfull ;0)

I like cheese - a lot;)

Well all Polish men smell of cheese so I suppose you have no choice ;0)

krabkakes

She's Polish for godsake, not a martian! I see you are in Manchester there are a million and one things to do...take her to Dukes, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun and treat her to some pate, nice bread and a nice bottle of wine, not as formal as a full on meal and probably much more relaxed! Then you can go for a strole along the canal side...

UK, Ireland / England, Dirty, Expensive and a dangerous place to live? [205]

There are far more things to do in London than any other place in England

Really, how much of England did you visit Wyspy?

yet there are people who don't even live in London and want to criticise it.

The thread isnt about London, the thread if you read it sweety is about England.

but when you've seen it once you dont need to see it again and to be honest there is things to do in other areas outside London if you know where to look and go :)

York? ;0)

I'm sure it's a fabulous place to live if you have tons of money since it's a world class capitol that nearly everyone loves. If you are filthy rich London would be a good choice. It's only a cesspool if you are poor.

Hmm being filthy rich doesnt protect you from being mugged or knifed, in fact it makes you more of a target.

UK, Ireland / England, Dirty, Expensive and a dangerous place to live? [205]

As for it being expensive over here, if you compare wages in UK and Poland and then compare the prices of food, living etc. in both of those countries i think you can safely say that the Brits are still better off.

As we like to say it's all relative J, you're average family is suffereing and struggling in the UK...Most young couples cant get on the property ladder and more and more houses are being respossessed because of the rise in utiltiy bills, interest rates and general day to day out goings...Why do you think the average family size for an English couple has shrunk from 3 kids in the 1970's to 1 in the 2000's?

Prices at Polish airports are especially rediculous.

Hmmm, we cant really bring airports in to this, I paid nearly £6 for a sandwich at Malaga airport not long ago.. (Im making my own butties next time ;0) )

In UK you can easily survive even on £600 a month.

That doesnt even come close to covering my bills sweety, nor does it for it anyone I know.

is this problem was made by la abor party? do they made working class British people toothless?

Nice to see you back Mr DB ;0) Where have you been?

(London as a whole generally speaking hence the higher wages there to counteract this)

A secretary will earn circa. 25K in London, so no, the wages are not at all much better.

It depends on the area as to where is Dirty

Ive been to quite few cities in Britain with my pervious job and in comparison to a lot of places Ive visited in Europe (Ive visited quite a few) they are disgusting and makes me ashamed, we are a dirty country.

Manchester

South Manchester, or Gunchester as we got the rep, these were in predominently black areas where the crime is rife....Look at upmystreet for Whitefield and then look at Moss Side! You can see a big difference.

Withenshaw

I think there was one incident there that was blown out of proportion...I lived in Whalley Range for a year and there were regular drive by shootings...I come from an area where I could walk anywhere at any time of day, whilst living in Whalley Range I only used taxes and never went to the local shop on my own!

lexi

another tit! take her govno to random!

No, I am an Atheist.

Well, Im a rather laps Catholic but I still have fond memories of the indocrination...

Back on topic.

London is a poo hole littered with rubbish and not safe for women to travel alone after dark...London a place where you need to earn at least £50K to have an even near to reasonable life (house share in maybe Wimbledon at best and a couple of nights out in the month and the odd purchase from Karen Millen), London a place where you get touched up on public transport, generally by some sweaty lookin bloke with a leiry look on his face...London a place where you clutch your bag in fear of losing its contents!

Okay plus points are that there are some free attractions to see...

Of course, but Ireland has a very long history with England, do you want me to round it up to the nearest 100 years? But anyone in a country which not their own is a foreigner... Same as if I moved to Ireland, I would be a foreigner...

Who told you my name? ha ha ha jeez, you pissed cause i called you out?.

You know what I meant, you're a catholic aren't you?

osiol GOLD

Get off my thread you tit!

i'm pretty sure it's been 3 YEARS as she's been missing since 2006. well not in the wheelie bin for 3 years but been put in there and stayed there for a long time as the binmen refused to empty is as it was 'too heavy'

The body had been in the bin for nearly 3 weeks sweety...

yeah everytime you read about someone being stabbed to death, the killers' names are almost always foreign and they are of black or asian descent

Her husband was a German national. The vast majority of the names that come up in the news are certainly not English., but there are a considerable amount that are English, my point is we are spirling out of control, low life Brits and low life foreigners....

I even went to Manchester when i was about 12, on a school trip, the people were very friendly

Maybe you visited the Irish centre? You will find that we have a large Irish community in Manc so Irish people are the "norm" and there are 1,000s of us who have Irish surnames :)

Ok, back on topic, those bloody Irish and Spanish coming here, taking our women, taking our jobs!, it ain't right you hear! it ain't right!.
Or has it not struck anyone else that this farce of a thread is about the "foreigners" in England and that the two perpetrators are of "foreign" decent?.
Oh sorry, was this meant to be a natural progression on the fibre of "your" country being brought to it's knees by non-desirable non whites?.

Have you quite finished? I didnt even mention foreigners in my initial post. As for the Irish Ive never considered them foreign. My point was about England and how it's a country in decline, not just blacks or asians but white scum...you made an assumption which was completely wrong.

As for those of you who dont think England is dirty, Ive travelled enough to see how other European countries look and we are filthy in comparison and should be ashamed!

I wasnt on about where I live, Im lucky enough to live in pretty decent part of Manchester, but the statistics for rape in the UK have risen dramatically along with knife related crime, oh and people trafficing - Also how about the womans body found in a bin which had been there for 3 weeks, you have to question what kind of a country England is turning into when you read this in the news....I mean, a body decaying in a wheely bin for 3 weeks!

London has recently been voted the dirtiest and most expensive captial in Europe..Second year in a row I may add!

Dont get me wrong I love my country but I feel it's turning into a complete sh*thole...

do Poles make it more dangerous? ;) :D

I wouldn't say that, the stats certainly dont point towards it either... :D

I look American by my teeth and hair color?

I doubt that, maybe it was the accent that gave it away! We're pretty astute ya know ;)

Life / Top 3 Most Important Things about which polish dentists will LIE to you bigtime [46]

I always wondered why the Limeys had crooked, yellow, missing bad teeth?
I didnt think they flossed or used toothpaste but maybe its the hack Euro Dentists that everybody is afraid of ????

lol...we dont all have bad teeth sweety....and our dentists (if you find a good one that doesnt charge the earth) are pretty good, i was at mine yesterday....no problems, just a quick checkup and a visit with the hygienist...

European dentistry....Hmmmm sounds scary, No Thanks:)

Hungary have some very good dentist a girl at work has just had a load of cosmetic stuff done....It cost her £2,000 (including flights and hotels) for work it would have cost her about £18,000 in the UK!

Life / Price of beer in Poland [90]

I dont have such problems after drinking any other brand of beer

Lucky you I pi$$ like a Shire horse no matter what beer I drink...all down hill after that first visit to the ladies! :0(

its czech not polish.

You have to admit it is a lovely beer though ;0)

thats your problem, no one drinks that **** in australia.

Or in the UK.

What amazes me is that people dont have the brains to have a look on travel web pages that tell you all you need to know about a country including the average price of a beer, meal, hotel, travel...some right lazy fcukers out there!

Life / Why are Polish people cheap? [126]

You know it always tickles me when I see this thread reappear LOL...

Now its us that are 'cheap' just like we have been for 790 yrs out of the last 800 :)

That is soooooooooo not true, the Irish I have met (plenty of them in my life time) have been amongst the most hospitable and generous people I have had the pleasure to know. My mates mum would insist (there was no aruging with her!) that you stayed for tea, even if you were just popping round to drop something off! Also when in Cork there wasn't a night when we weren't being offered drinks...

Love / THE TYPICAL POLISH WOMAN? [148]

Unfortunately the anecdote stopped short of saying what would have been done in England, Ireland, Germany and elsewhere.

The English would have politely declined.

I agree. Sometimes i wonder where these brits found the courage to marry polish women. Boy are they in for a surprise.

I dont think so, English women have been strong dominant women since time began, I have no idea where Polsh women get the idea that they monolpolise this area along with others! Talk about self obsessed! Jeez, you just stay in the kitchen where you belong!

Food / What do the Poles think of salt and vinegar crisps? [32]

I think Pringles comes in squares nowadays. Pringles are the only ones over here calling themselves "crisps" as far as I know :D

Edit: they pretended not to be a crisp! (still bloody fakes though - only good for snacking on, on the plane when there is feckall else to eat)

Fakes!

You probably have much more space to pack them away than I do :)

Hollow legs sheepy, always plenty of room for cheesy puffs :)

UK, Ireland / Poles claim UK benefits after working only one year instead of going home [156]

Or better, live there for a few years. If they are retired, they receive a British pension.

They worked here all their lives and they are entiled to a pension where ever in the world they are! What is your point?

The Australian points based system wouldn't stop someone going on benefit once in the country with a residency permit. They don't even need to be a citizen.

You dont quite understand do you? Brits go out to Aus to WORK they have professions and are not scrotes, they probably never claimed a penny in benefits when in the UK so why travel half way around the world and change their living standards, going to Aus is about enhancing their way of life not dropping it!

Most read the Daily Mail too.

Middle class likely to change their car every 2 to 3 years and shop at Sainsburys or Marks Spencers :0) Not exactly the poverty stricken scrounging type!

claiming their winter heating allowance,

And that's wrong, but they are not sponging off their hoste country are they?

Spanish and French expat forums and you'll see how few speak Spanish or French.

I suppose that the problem with speaking the most superior language in the world, you dont feel you need to speak another one ;0)

Do a google on "CMU" and BTW, many locals DO complain about the health system clogged up with

With what? Brits with HIV or Brits popping out babies 2 at a time after they've just landed in the country and not contributed one penny to the economy?
