Genealogy / Help finding a telephone number of a friend from Krakow and Poznan in Poland [25]

I know that there are 2 familes with this name in Tarnow (Malopolska). So is it possible to locate their phone numbers?

I would say after a couple of wrong numbers you will probably get a relative who will be able to tell you.

There are no residential directory available but if you go to this pkt.pl site and enter location and family name you are bound to come across a relative with their own business.

News / America: Take your missile base and shove it! [116]

I think you just like bagging on America

Not that old chestnut again....

Name one war that civilians do not die in.

Note the word "disproportionate" in my quote. One million innocent civilians dead .

However, you have not quantified your implication of historical revisionism in this case.

I am not implying it, I am stating it. I have quantified it numerous times in many posts.

Which is just as much a lie.

This is the historical revisionism I am talking about, drop all that bombs on a densely populated city and all that was hit was Saddams HQ ? C'mon.

Totals for June -
31 coalition troops killed -
142 US wounded
Over 300 Iraqi deaths

These numbers were probably close. To be honest 3 IED's could account for this many.

ROFL.

I'll be there again soon enough, so feel free to read all the horrors you suppose I'm doing and tell me about them the next time I return (hopefully alive).

Err yeah

Law / Child Support Payment in Poland [47]

Hmmmm......I know the syndrome but cant think of the word for it.....guy has sex with girl, girl gets pregnant, man starts acting like an arse, its all the girls fault, all of a sudden shes unatractive. They split up, guy gets all peed off because if the girl isn't getting emotional support she needs his financial support. Guy believes he is getting done and all women are prostitutes.

Hmmmm.......whats the word for that again.....maybe you could help me out here ?

UK, Ireland / Tell me about Glasgow [59]

Aberdeen the only place in the uk to be unaffected by the credit crunch,

And it is only 112 miles away from Europes fastest growing city.

knife culture

In the Highlands, when you talk of promoting a knife culture, they think you mean eating with more than just your fork.

Law / Child Support Payment in Poland [47]

Here is the CSA calculator for UK. Dont know what the deal is outside EU.

secureonline.dwp.gov.uk/csa/v2/en/calculate-maintenance.asp

It is your responsibility to pay as much as you can afford if it is your child I would have thought.

It isn't always that simple. For example - mother goes back to Poland, meets someone else, denies access to child - father ends up paying for mother and new partners lifestyle - child grows up with Polish grandparents.

How much would you pay in that scenario - wouldn't you rather put it in a trust fund or something ?

UK, Ireland / Nominations wanted for the Young Scottish Minority Ethnic Awards 2008 [40]

We are not trying to promote minority ethnic groups above others

To me, it looks like you are.

if you don’t know its going on how can you participate?

So that leads me to ask this question again -

So with that definition - The Wee Frees ( Free Church of Scotland ) and Gaelic speakers will qualify ? If so, how are you reaching out to these people ? How will they be represented at the awards

And ask again -

Could you describe who isn't in an ethnic minority group.

For a PR company this should be easy.

UK, Ireland / Nominations wanted for the Young Scottish Minority Ethnic Awards 2008 [40]

Scotland’s minority ethnic youth

Could you describe who isn't in an ethnic minority group.

sharing a common and distinctive culture, religion, language, or the like.

So with that definition - The Wee Frees ( Free Church of Scotland ) and Gaelic speakers will qualify ? If so, how are you reaching out to these people ? How will they be represented at the awards ?

My belief is this - if you are living in Scotland then you are part of the Scottish community, regardless of your culture, religion etc

Why have these divisive awards ?
If you are of that mindset then no matter who or what you are, you will always be in the minority.
