Gdansk has century's long connection with Poland.
Those connection are good enough to say that Poland has historical rights to Gdańsk regardless that after year 1793 the town become German.

Are you on crack? Poland and Ukraine were on the same side during the Polish-Soviet war, that is why they signed the 1920 Treaty of Warsaw. Then in 1921 when the Soviets were beaten the Poles decided to stab their allies in the back and steal half of Ukraine, so they signed the Peace of Riga and did just that.

But Gdansk regardless long history of having majority of leading citizen Germanic (although there were population of Scots and Poles and others as Kingdom was multi ethnic) became German in the years after 1793.

I we talking not about technicality here but about historical rights and according to that Poland had rights to Gdansk!

This is not a main stream of the Polish foreign policies either, so it does sound really strange to me.

Its obvious that some thing in Poland are priority, whats more it is impossible to do anything in the foreign matters before setting things right in Poland - it goes without saying !

Hard facts BB, we have a war of cultures between us and muslims/Turks, in the future when Europe gets older and they get more agressive the issue will become burning, read up on German demographics, the most optimistic ones estimate that by 2100 there will be 50% Germans of Turkish descent, by 2050 Turks will make up between 8 and 15% of your population and eventually something will have to be done, you should know best that Turkish presence is not in Germanys best interest.

Not really there is internal thingy in our culture which is more dangerous then any outside influence.
Germany should have been wiped out and there wouldn't had been any problem .......

What "financial system" do you feel you are lacking?

Control over a large chunk of the banking system.

I agree with you about the wages being disproportionate to the cost of living but that's been a constant in Polish life.
