Love / i love you -why say it if you dont mean it [56]

I understand that but why stay with him as his girlfriend if you did not love him

The relationship started off pretty much as a friendship. He was quite aware of that. He suddenly starting becoming much too serious, very quickly. In a sense he scared me away.

i love you -why say it if you dont mean it

This is exactly the reason why I broke up with my last boyfriend. He would become upset, because I never told him I love him. I can't lie about and fake an emotion like love. He wouldn't accept the fact, he couldn't force me to fall in love with him.

Love / Why do you suppose the Polish guy I'm dating refuses to speak Polish? [22]

I know a Latina, who's married to a Polish man. He only speaks Polish to his parents. She feels at times they may be talking about her, when they speak Polish infront of her.

I explained how I previously had a Polish boyfriend, who'd also only speak Polish to his family. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that issue any more. I dumped him later in the month of June (for other reasons.)

Life / You know you're Polish when... ? [111]

loved my mums cooking

I love my mother's cooking too. We were the only Polish family in the neighborhood. Actually, there was quite an array of different ethnicities. Gave many of us the opportunity, to learn to become more multi-cultured.

Life / You know you're Polish when... ? [111]

You've been embarrassed as a child. Having your friends come over. While your mother is cooking kapusta, that stinks up the entire house.

In addition, she has a pan full of kielbasa on the stove, resembling phallic symbols.

When you've got a picture of Our lady of Czestochowa, in practically every room of the house

I've just realized, I still need a picture of her in my bathroom & laundry room.

Life / Polish hair stylists in Warsaw... HOT! [33]

You're right, beauty's in the eye of the beholder. In my eyes none of the male clients shown are attractive. That's why I believe they may in need of paying for it, in order to receive any action from a woman.

Concerning prostitution, I feel it's degrading for women. There are many ways a respectable woman can earn a descent living. Such as the method I've chosen, going to college and educating myself, by earning college degrees.

I would never think of abusing my body by means of prostitution. Nor would I hurt a man's innocent wife or children, by partcipating in such an action.

Life / Polish hair stylists in Warsaw... HOT! [33]

and what's wrong with that? i'm quite serious actually. the oldest profession

I noticed that all of their male clients in that advertisement are quite unattractive. Probably the only way any of them can get any action is by paying for it.

Polish hair stylists... HOT!

Are you sure they're only selling haircuts there???
I can't understand why a woman needs to be half-naked, just to cut someone's hair!

USA, Canada / The best POLISH FESTIVAL ever!! - San Diego Oct. 13-14 [36]

Did they have an Okocim tent:)

I just wonder what it was like?

I`m sure you had some pierogis..tak

There was plenty of Okocim at the beverage stand. I bought kielbasa and kapusta to go.
They gave me so much food; I have enough to last for days!

Polish fests are fun no matter the size

I may go try the Polish Festival in October, in San Diego, Ca.

USA, Canada / The best POLISH FESTIVAL ever!! - San Diego Oct. 13-14 [36]

It's rather small. It's held at a Polish church called, Our Lady of The Bright Mount. The only pic I have from there today, is a postcard of Our Lady Of Czestochowa.

I didn't stay long. I felt uncomfortable seeing the ex-boyfriend and his UCLA colleagues there.
